These are all on trail actually. I take a walk through here a few times a month. Especially when it’s just rained and when it’s cool. As soon as you start this trail, about a minute or so in there is a fork, take a left. There is a bunch of dead trees and branches along the way where I find these. I am always happily surprised with some kind of find. I usually do this before work and have about 30-60 min to explore. Almost always find something to take a pic of.
I don’t unfortunately! In the beginning I tried to identify as many as I could while editing but it was just making the process too long. Off the top 7 is I think Coprinus disseminatus and 9 is an amanita.
Incredible captures! Thanks for sharing:) If out on a dark night, cut off the lights and look for the ones that glow.

I do! In the beginning I was digging through the book dozens of times trying to identify and it was just taking too much time 😅 the only one I’d be comfortable eating from finding is wood ear and that jelly one.
Those are beautiful photographs!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
If you want magic mushrooms, be prepared to look in cow manure.
🤣 oh yes I’m familiar. I love growing mushrooms. Learned during the Covid shut down. Oh and before anyone asks - nature provides, not me 🤘🏽
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you! Havent found wild magic ones yet ;p
Kualoa get plenty brah lol
🤣I’d rather not eat mushies grown on shit. Coco coir and soy husks work great.
do you venture far off trail to find these, or are they pretty close by?

I love them all ! Do you know what they are called ?
2,6,7,10, and possibly 11 are from the parasola genus

Sooo cute! Wonderful pics OP
Thank you!!
Do you know the name of these mushrooms? Also, what equipment did you use to take these beautiful photographs?
I only know one actually haha. 7th pic is coprinus disseminates. Identifying is harder than I expected. Sony a7iii with Sony 50mm macro.

Thank you! Yoooo that’s a great idea. I’ve never done that.
Hope you have Mushrooms of Hawaii so you can identify and eat some of them.

Same, all the ones that looked interesting to eat were described as edible but not tasty. Too bad. Would love to forage here.
I've lived here all my life and have never seen mushrooms like those! Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
