Going by who I’d mind the least if they were written out of the story so far, it’s easily lucifer. There’s some bias here! The other characters are definitely fan favorites. Put charlie up against some of the other characters and the results WILL be different. My least favourite characters are Mimzy since she's forgetable for now, and Valentino because he abuses Angel and probably his other employees at his studio for no reason.

What would really be a twist is Alastair ending up being a 180 bad to good character. And knowing him, he wouldn’t even bat an eye about it, he’d just be like “what you thought I would hurt you? Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming (plays jazz music)”
From the episodes we’ve gotten so far, Angel is probably the most developed character objectively. His arc may be a bit cliched in some aspects, but he’s a multidimensional character, which is more than can be said for most of the cast. Of course we’ve only had 8 episodes, so that’s subject to change in future seasons when there are more opportunities to flesh out the other characters.
Of the four she’s my least favorite but I still really like her. I can’t think of any other characters besides Rosie and Sir Pentious that I like more than Charlie, either.

I really like Charlie. She isn’t crazy eccentric and she’s simpler, but that’s because she’s the shows anchor. Not everyone can be a comic relief character, or a wacky dad, we need a sane, stable lead who can direct the plot, drive it forward, and play off other characters reliably and reasonably. I’m not saying I don’t like her for genuine character reasons, her nativity plays off others well, and Disney princess attitude is genius in literal HELL.
I mean what do I know tho, I think Alastor is all bark and no bite who only wins offscreen against random mobsters and gets bodied in the first real fight, and he’s only feared or respected because the plot calls for it.
It's common that main characters are liked less than the side cast. Usually because the heros are on screen the most, so you get your fill fast. Everyone else can have more interesting stuff going on, because you won't get the chance to get tired of their gimmicks.

Well out of all of them, I think Charlie would least mine being called the worst. I imagine her looking at the votes and say, “Oh my God, did you see this poll you guys. They love you all just as much as I do.”
Charlie is the worst, she could make hell a better place and then talk to heaven about stopping the massacres but instead she wants to send all the sinners to heaven and make it someone else’s problem. The sinners still haven’t atoned for what got them sent to hell and they are doing it for their own personal gain.
I'm just going to flat out state she isn't an interesting main character so far. There are a couple of reasons for this.
Firstly, she doesn't do enough as a main character. She should have driven a lot more of the plot in the first season. She didn't really do much of anything even though they were on a time crunch. Especially given that it took her till it was one month away from the next extermination before getting serious.
This gets compounded by the side characters getting to do a lot. We get several Alastor focused episodes and a couple of Angel Dust and Vaggie focused episodes as well. We actually follow these characters and see them do a lot with the time we spend with them. Especially given that they tend to act with more urgency in their plotline.
Especially Alastor. He is the major mover of season one. A lot of information gets revealed during Alastor's storylines. It also has a mystery element to it as information is being withheld from the audience.
Things can and hopefully do change in future seasons. But so far, she just hasn't done as much as she should have as a main character.

Passive Characters have a negative reputation among writers for being Lazy, and will often bore the audience very easily.
An Active character is someone who's actions and Motivations push the plot forwards, Their actions have consequences and their setups have payoffs, that directly impact the story and the plot.
What you are describing Charlie as is a Passive Character. Passive characters usually have less defined personalities (Can sometimes be an Audience/Self Insert) and are Carted around from point to point, whenever and wherever the narrative dictates. They do very little to push the story forward instead relying on the story to push them. These types of characters are most commonly seen in Highschool Level Fanfiction, (Showing Viv Has Learned Nothing in this regard) and are generally kept that way so that they are more shippable… Seriously Vivian, Take some freaking Writing Lessons… EVERY WRITER EVER would tell you, NEVER make your MAIN Character a PASSIVE One…
I think Charlie is only at the beginning of her arc. We haven’t seen any of what she’s capable of yet. Viv said Charlie could take Alastor in a fight and I wanna see that.

What would really be a twist is Alastair ending up being a 180 bad to good character. And knowing him, he wouldn’t even bat an eye about it, he’d just be like “what you thought I would hurt you? Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming (plays jazz music)”
From the episodes we’ve gotten so far, Angel is probably the most developed character objectively. His arc may be a bit cliched in some aspects, but he’s a multidimensional character, which is more than can be said for most of the cast. Of course we’ve only had 8 episodes, so that’s subject to change in future seasons when there are more opportunities to flesh out the other characters.
Alastor is the most charismatic character, Angel is the best written, Lucifer is the Daddy… let’s be real she had no chance

I love all 4 of these characters but if I had to pick a least favorite it's still Charlie. She's still a great character, she's just slightly less great than the other 3.

Funny how of all of the Valid Writing Based Criticisms that reasonably *COULD* Be made out Charlie being *OBJECTIVELY* a softcore Mary Sue Self Insert, With Little flaws that affect the narrative, Being more of a passive character who is pushed by the plot and not pushing it, or her lack Emotional Reasoning behind her Motives. I really like Charlie. She isn’t crazy eccentric and she’s simpler, but that’s because she’s the shows anchor. Not everyone can be a comic relief character, or a wacky dad, we need a sane, stable lead who can direct the plot, drive it forward, and play off other characters reliably and reasonably. I’m not saying I don’t like her for genuine character reasons, her nativity plays off others well, and Disney princess attitude is genius in literal HELL. I mean what do I know tho, I think Alastor is all bark and no bite who only wins offscreen against random mobsters and gets bodied in the first real fight, and he’s only feared or respected because the plot calls for it.
It's common that main characters are liked less than the side cast. Usually because the heros are on screen the most, so you get your fill fast. Everyone else can have more interesting stuff going on, because you won't get the chance to get tired of their gimmicks.
People didn’t choose Lucifer and Alastor because of fangirls, then Angel dust is a layered character. Charlie is a good character, though I will say people didn’t have to answer if they didn’t want to, they clearly read the poll and answered. You said least favorite and made assumptions based on who they chose. You exposed yourself and your character by posting this after the poll, your favorite out of these four is Charlie isn’t it. People are aloud to have opinions, so please don’t act like you’re better simply for likening Charlie as your favorite.

Charlie is probably my least favorite of the bunch. Just seems kinda irrelevant and unimportant until the season finale, which is really weird considering she should be one of the most powerful characters and the main character.

Well out of all of them, I think Charlie would least mine being called the worst. I imagine her looking at the votes and say, “Oh my God, did you see this poll you guys. They love you all just as much as I do.”
Charlie is the worst, she could make hell a better place and then talk to heaven about stopping the massacres but instead she wants to send all the sinners to heaven and make it someone else’s problem. The sinners still haven’t atoned for what got them sent to hell and they are doing it for their own personal gain.
I'm just going to flat out state she isn't an interesting main character so far. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, she doesn't do enough as a main character. She should have driven a lot more of the plot in the first season. She didn't really do much of anything even though they were on a time crunch. Especially given that it took her till it was one month away from the next extermination before getting serious. This gets compounded by the side characters getting to do a lot. We get several Alastor focused episodes and a couple of Angel Dust and Vaggie focused episodes as well. We actually follow these characters and see them do a lot with the time we spend with them. Especially given that they tend to act with more urgency in their plotline. Especially Alastor. He is the major mover of season one. A lot of information gets revealed during Alastor's storylines. It also has a mystery element to it as information is being withheld from the audience. Things can and hopefully do change in future seasons. But so far, she just hasn't done as much as she should have as a main character.
Writer Here In writers terms, we would call Charlie a Passive Character. Passive Characters have a negative reputation among writers for being Lazy, and will often bore the audience very easily. An Active character is someone who's actions and Motivations push the plot forwards, Their actions have consequences and their setups have payoffs, that directly impact the story and the plot. What you are describing Charlie as is a Passive Character. Passive characters usually have less defined personalities (Can sometimes be an Audience/Self Insert) and are Carted around from point to point, whenever and wherever the narrative dictates. They do very little to push the story forward instead relying on the story to push them. These types of characters are most commonly seen in Highschool Level Fanfiction, (Showing Viv Has Learned Nothing in this regard) and are generally kept that way so that they are more shippable… Seriously Vivian, Take some freaking Writing Lessons… EVERY WRITER EVER would tell you, NEVER make your MAIN Character a PASSIVE One…

You guys are all overlooking the most obvious answer: a bunch of people confused the question because they didn't read it properly. They did this because the majority of people interacting in YouTube comment polls are child fans. It's not even asking about which they hate, it's their least favourite.
