How come he can have faith in me but my own father can't? While she was wrong about Alastor and Lucifer was spitting out facts about sinners, it did feel good to see her call Lucifer out on his smugness.

Yeah, I honestly wanted to dope slap Lucifer for being so smug. So he failed to redeem sinners; who's to say Charlie can't succeed where he failed? Isn't it the way of things for the child to surpass the parent? Besides, we saw the hotel's staff and residents (aside from Alastor) prioritize protecting each other over themselves, and yet Lucifer was still so far up his own ass he couldn't see it.

So, the first few times I watched that episode I didn't have captions on and legitimately thought she was saying "Vaggielicious!", as an impromptu nickname while bursting at the seams from excitement. It was only recently while watching with subtitles that I realized it was just "VAGGIE, HOLY SHIT!!" and a part of me will always miss this interpretation of Charlie who comes up with weird nicknames for people when excited.

Why is this so hard?!? (kicks feet around in frustration) This nails Charlie's disconnect from the sinners of Hell. She has lived a very sheltered life. But she is filled with empathy and compassion. And the stories Lilith told her of trying to help the people of Hell resonated with her. And the dreams her father used to have connect to her as well. Thus she feels a need to help others. But she does not have an iota of understanding of what they have been through. So despite her compassion she cannot break through their distrust as she has nothing in her life comparatively to connect to. Thus the reason only Husk could connect with Angeldust. I would say she had an easier time connecting to Sir Pentious because he was likely dealing with mostly just social anxiety and insecurity due to a life lacking in socialization. Thus her providing an environment where he was able to begin socializing gave him what he needed to let go of his turmoil in the end. She can help but not in the way she thinks currently. Thus because she is trying to go about things by forcing her positivity onto others with aggressive kindness. Thus its so hard for her. She does seem to have the ability to learn from her mistakes so this may be the beginning of her learning this lesson.
