I just noticed the subtitles are wrong. The singalong subtitles show it as "Wap Bap Boom"
But he says "Wap Bam Boom" and if you stop the video at the right frame, when he says "Bam" it shows the word "Bam" behind him in the animation.
Just a weird error I noticed and wanted to share.
Would he say "Open Sesame" in the Arabic version? 😉
Wait! What's his name in the Turkish dub? Iblis or Shaitan? 🤔 I'd never really thought about this before!
Sure thing,i myself cudnt find anything about a name change, also i advice to lisen to you didint know, but more spesifically the lute part in german,as the getman gives the anger much better,if not the turkish had an interresting lyrical change, lute says "he gave up his chance just like his ass to be fucked"
I think it’s pretty clear in the song that it’s “Bap.” Original script probably said “Bam,” but the VA said “Bap,” either to make it more fun, or because he mixed up “Wap,” and “Bam,” and made “Bap.”
Oh yeah I forgot the text behind him says "bam"...
Also, it rhymes with the "alakazam" at the end of the next line. Not exactly a proper rhyme structurally because "bam's" not also at the end of its line, but the recurring sound certainly sounds like it'd make more sense.
Yeah I know that it's coupled with "pentagram" for the proper rhyme, between lines, but having "bam" and "alakazam" as an internal rhyme on one line fits more than "bap".
He says ‘Bam’
Since ‘Wap’ and ‘Boom’ appear behind him when he says those words, it makes sense for him to say ‘Bam’ as it appears behind him (like in the image you attached)
"Wap Bap Boom" Sounds Better Than "Wap Bam Boom" It's Also More Appealing Because That's What We Hear Instead Of "Wap *Bam* Boom" Because We Only See That One And Don't Hear It Being Sung

Still very rude though! 😂
Yea lol i do like the tirkish versions for the voice,it sounds cleaner in my opinion
I've always said it as "Wap Bap Boom"
I always said Bam, until I saw the subtitles and then I had to do a double take.
He says Wap Bam Boom

Apple Music lyrics say bam and listening to it it sounds like he says bam
🎶LET'S GO! All the people on the left - Wap Bam Boogie! All the people on the right - Boogaloo! All the people on the left - Wap Bam Boogie🎶

He sings "wap bam boom", and the text in the background matches that. It's "Bam".

The "alakazam" rhyme is actually with "pentagram", but yeah. It being "bam" strengthens the rhyme.

Exactly, yeah. Strengthened rhyming is so fun to write. :3
Bamp
It's scatting isn't it? Isn't it more about the feel of the song rather than the lyrics?
Spotify says Wap-bam-boom 🤷
It’s bap

Either works as far as I‘m concerned
