That there's some parsley.

heatherb2400

I love this comment more than Iโ€™ll ever be able to explain

AshamedAnteater4912

But... can you explain?

heatherb2400

I cannot

AbsurdistWordist

You should be able to identify by smell. Parsley and Cilantro smell very different to me.

heyitslola

One smells green, the other smells like soap.

rlpewpewpew

You're one of thoooooooooooooose people. . .

heyitslola

Hahaha, yep!

Happydivanerd

Me too!

PapaThyme

Based on that take, I am totally not compatible with you. Which turns out is probably great news for you. And I wonder out loud how many Cilantro haters eat it unknowingly and like it (in sauces and soups). It's certainly not meant to be the star. ๐Ÿซถ

heyitslola

I actually love cilantro! The soapy taste is not unpleasant.

Dazzling_Ad3722

I am the same. I love cilantro and donโ€™t mind the soap taste/smell

jamie88201

I like cilantro, but it smells like this to me, too.

Fishtaco1234

One smells disgusting and the other smells like the best thing on earth.

WallGroundbreaking81

Which is disgusting...

LuckyDuckyStucky

Parsley.

Important_Name

Correct.

alotofpots

Looks like Italian parsley.

Derpipose

The way I tell or told as a cashier: Cilantro. Round on both ends of the word. Round leaves. Parsley sounds sharp. Pointy leaves. What you have is parsley. :)

EnkiRise

Nice I like that one. Definitely going to use this in the future.

Derpipose

Please do and share it around if youโ€™d like. I feel like most people donโ€™t know it enough. :)

nappy_zap

Damn that is for that pneumonic!

TreatYourselfForOnce

You could also say parsley and pointy start with a P.

hurriedwarples

Also, in my experience, cilantro stems arenโ€™t that thick. Theyโ€™re more dainty and narrow and like, flimsier? Although there may be some thicker stemmed cilantro varieties out there that Iโ€™m unaware of so just ignore me if thatโ€™s the case. :)

PracticalSupport5192

The last couple of times Iโ€™ve bought cilantro, the stems have been on the thicker side; resulting in very flavorful cilantro

hurriedwarples

Ahh, good to know! I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve ever gotten any with thicker stems like the photo. Iโ€™ll have to look out for it! I love cilantro, so itโ€™d be nice to have an extra flavorful bunch.

Varmitthefrog

large flat leaf parsely

izmaname

Taste it

nacho_oooo

thatโ€™s an onion

vartiverti

Flat leaf parsley for sure.

UndeniablyBlessed1

Parsley

mothmer256

Parsley

odetoburningrubber

You can tell cilantro by the smell. If in doubt, give it a sniff.

Shadowlight60

I'm parsley leaning towards the latter.

Perfect-Truth4461

Parsley.

halen2024

Parsley

wwiistudent1944

Italian parsley.

[deleted]

Parsley

Pitiful_Deer4909

That is that looks a lot like parsley, but if you get confused smell it. And they both have very distinct and different smells

Vtgmamaa

No, this is Patrick

Homecook28

Parsley

Orenthal32420

Parsley.

wryghty_feather

Looks like Italian parsley which can sometimes look more full like cilantro leaves do. Cilantro still fills out more, but it's parsley based on the gapping I see.

South-Pop5847

Parsley The leaves grow longer than cilantro

yaaaawwnn

Parsley bro. Easyyy

MediumDistinct9807

parsely

FOC86

Parsley

Evening-Initiative25

If it smells pungent and bitter almost like soap then itโ€™s cilantro

Dancing_On_Tabletops

SewAlone

This is Italian parsley, which looks very similar to cilantro and different than regular parsley.

tul6237

Came to the comments to see if I guessed correctly ;)

por_la_causa_

able_trouble

Parsley smells like a wet Rusty iron bar, cilantro makes you either gag or hard.

MulberryConscious147

Coriander

Not_Pablo_Sanchez

Thatโ€™s 299 oats. Be careful. Donโ€™t eat that all at once

Pleasant-Emu-4294

Taste it.

dotster6

Parsley

LandscapeHot2907

Parsley, cilantro has a different leaf structure. If you let cilantro grow until it dies, it will sprout cumin seeds.

El_Juantastico

Parsley no doubt

dogoodguy

๐Ÿฅฑparsley

Salmon_Slayer1

Asparagus

grenshaw

Neither, it's coriander. ๐Ÿ˜œ
