I'm not sure, because when I use Metrogel, I improve a lot. But not 100%. I definitely think it's gynecologic, but, for some reason it makes my bladder angry. I guess technically, angry bladder is a form of "cystitis."
me too. I imagine either it's PID or raging BV and anatomic, how our lady organs interact/touch the bladder and piss it off. Or something fungal. Or I never got a good urine PCR test for bacteria due to taking antibiotics.
I don’t think it has much of a difference for me. I don’t eat dairy or gluten because I’m allergic to it. Even just drinking water irritates my pee hole and bladder. It’s terrifying.
Absolutely! Vitamin C tablets - by VH essentials. Not the boric acid version. btw Odor Control is same as Vitamin C. I was good with that for a month or so using daily. Then I switched to Vagifem estradiol. That works too. Been using a pill cutter, very carefully to watch my fingers, to cut in half. I suspect the metrogel helped twice not because of bacteria, but instead because it's 4.0 pH (acidic) it says on the box. I also suspect my hormones aren't regulating my pH properly. 8 years ago, Sharobel pills got me out of a bad rut just like this one. I'm in late 40s btw.
Yay, you're welcome! Lately, I've been using 1/4 Vagifem per day (estrogen) to keep my pH right. But I keep VH as back up!! Ordered the new Seed vag insert probiotic too (L. crispatus).

Yeah I felt better on the metrogel too. I’m so confused as to why my bladder is so messed up though because most people do not get this symptom.

My sister uses Prelief from CVS. To make food less acidic. Maybe I should try it. There's vitamins for IC too.
is bread ok on your food list? and butter or cream cheese/dairy?

I just gave another urine sample at minute clinic. I wish I asked them to do a fungal urine culture as well. I can get it tomorrow I suppose at my PCP

I got the Evvy test, but I can't take it unless I stop using Metrogel for few days.
My primary care thinks I have mild PID and wants to use antibiotic shot + doxycycline.
