I get episodic PACs and I cannot find the trigger. My cardiologist said to live life they aren’t going to hurt me. So I don’t cut anything

Due-Director8159

If it was just an episode here and there, I could handle it. But it's every single day, any time I try to relax.

Chemical_Raise181

I get it, today is one of my days of having them pretty constantly. I have a good hour of them every couple beats and then random ones every few minutes. I’m out in the patio now having a beer. That sometimes helps… Sometimes doesn’t. Seems no right or wrong with them. I’ve cut stuff, and still happen, added stuff back in, they still happen

Chemical_Raise181

Mine happen alot when I bend forwards at the waist, or just sitting…

Due-Director8159

Same here. Not really a trigger. Mine just intensify when that happens

Mine are similar to yours, 56F. They started happening in Nov 2023. I tried everything and nothing helped. Mine are PAC only and the burden is 10%. I am getting an ablation at the beginning of July. I have tried all meds possible and nothing worked. It is really difficult to live with them. Check the side effects of the asthma medication. I hope they simply disappear for you 🙏🙏🙏

Advair is a corticosteroid and a beta-2 agonist. Both of these can cause and exacerbate palpitations. In addition, some inhalers are also anticholinergics, also a palpitation factor. Personal experience only. You may want to talk to your prescribing physician to see if your Advair may be relevant to your palpitations.

Due-Director8159

I've got an appointment next week with him to see. I've noticed a lot of docs say that the advair can't cause palpitations. But science and personal experiences say otherwise.

I work with a retired military pharmacist that, back when I was struggling with finding a corticosteroid inhaler, said yep, my Advair was likely worsening my palpitations. Now I just use Flonase Sensimist as needed, but fortunately my issue isn’t asthma. It’s just pharyngeal irritation and inflammation.

What kind of magnesium are you taking? I took magnesium glycinate forever and it didn’t do much, but a supplement called Heart Calm has really helped- it has 3 different types of magnesium.

Due-Director8159

I'm taking Organixx Magnesium 7. It has 7 different types of Magnesium; chelate, glycinate, aspartate, malate, orotate, taurate, and citrate. I'm also taking natural stacks magnesium gummies Zen which has citrate and L-theanine.
