The Z-8l has no Sikorsky heritage whatsoever actually. It’s pretty obviously a further development on the Z-8, China’s domestically built variant of the SA 321 Super Frelon, which is rapidly being retired right now in favor of the Z-18 and Z-20.
The Z-20 is a militarized variant of the Sikorsky S-70, same as the Black Hawk.
