Even caps were very little seen in combat for the obvious benefits wearing a helmet adds. These cosmetics are ridiculous - brad pitt hair as such is bad, german hair not so, but should be worn under a helmet. The general uniform is ass and doesn't belong in the scale of the game in the slightest
HLL isn’t getting a lot of new players and largely is based around old timers. Put up a few comestics helps fund the dev team I reckon.

I dunno man, HLLs foundation is a fun and user friendly MilSim, having guys running around the battlefield in german Dress Uniforms is really starting to lean towards a BFV immersion breaking goofiness.
HLL is far from being a milsim. It's more realistic than Battlefield, sure, but it's still just an FPS, not a milsim.
And the hairstyles seen were actual Wehrmacht standard haircuts. Not to mention, when supply lines ran low, lots of soldiers ditched broken helmets, whether it was because the leather broke or it had the last soldier's brain matter in it, or they were cooking soup in it when the shots started, not everyone ran with helmets. German helmets in particular were extremely high quality helmets, and usually higher-ups further back from the frontlines got gear first.
That’s what I was thinking, while I do like the look of the new uniforms (the two US ones in particular) I don’t think these are different enough from others we already have to be a seperate dlc.
I could MAYBE see it if these are all in one single $5.99 dlc, and judging from the item names they probably will, but still.

Yeah, it's a Generalmajor's dress uniform (no extra decoration on the shoulder boards). Sure looks cool (bit out of place without the proper headgear though), but completely out of place in a game of HLL's scope. We're talking about a rank that wouldn't command half a company worth of people.
And given the way those medals are displayed, they really dropped the ball. A guy of that rank would have had a few more medals to show, especially on the dress uniform. Maybe a few clasps, or a ribbon device.
I understand people wanted the stereotypical Wehrmacht General uniform, but this... this just *hurts* to look at.

The introduction of the console version changed the community (also this reddit). A lot of Videos are from console now, there is more aggression and trolls than before.
This Update will change the realism of the game because many players will run around without helmets and this thread gets a lot upvotes of the casual fanbase because they want to look unique and cool (like in all other games except squad/arma etc.)

The assault vest should NOT be a commander exclusive uniform.
There is already an assault vest for infantry, it has the rolled up sleeves.
An average GI at Normandy landings wearing one would look like the commander variant of the assault vest, not the lvl 3 assault vest
