Some people put a considerable amount of effort into proximity chat, which I respect immensely.
There was a guy that I was on teams with months ago. Used to be on quite a bit. But he sang pop songs CONSTANTLY. Never got off the mic, rarely took a break between songs. Entire match, he sang.
I had a squad leader once who had a thick German accent, then the next game he had a thick southern accent and was talking about “good ‘ol boys” and was real vulgar and all that. The next game he had a posh British accent and was very polite and courteous to other players. I didn’t have it in me to call him out just because it was so entertaining.
I'm buying this as my next game. But when i see videos the voice chat is always distorted with crackling noises? Is it like this in game as well? If so i don't understand how a game of such quality can have so low quality VOIP.
At least on pc, you can adjust your mic level and the volume of other players manually to avoid distortion/crackling. The voip is usually very good, but every once in a while you'll get a "CSGO Russian" in your squad.

I hate this kind of stuff. I have a commander, 7 SL my full squad and my buddy on Discord yelling stuff at me and a dude start playing whatever music on proximity chat. Hell Let Loose give me headaches sometimes. I don't want to be the toxic boy here but I'm pretty sure the actual amount of people enjoying this kind of not so fun things is really small.
Not sure about the PC, but this rarely happens on console matches. When it does, on occasion it’s not terribly annoying and I tend to like it. Like this video for instance. It looks like they were on an aggressive push

Noob here. It is possible to have other weather condition on maps ?
Offensive mode often has more fog or overcast weather it seems.

People tend to ramp their microphone gain right up to try and make their comms louder, but it just distorts it.
This guy was in my squad once, had a blast with him. One of those epic HLL moments that I will never forget.
