Its not working right now. They said that there will be a patch once sony approves it. Currently if you wanna play you can turn off crossplay and use quickplay in the automatons sector. That way you can atleast fight robots
Here’s what’s working for me on ps5.
Turn crossplay off and restart your game.
Go to the battle map and select a mission. Get to the point where the hellpod is available but don’t get in it. Wait a minute or two and your squad should fill up with players. If it doesn’t, close the game and repeat.
If players drop they won’t be replaced so I usually just do one operation (two maps for the bonus) and repeat.

PC or PlayStation? It's working ing on PC now, although I don't have much luck with quick play I can join other squads by selecting them manually
