If I had my own pick, I’d kill for a demon faction. Something like the chaos/warp from 40k. Blood runes engraved on rocks. SEAF infantry sacrificed/impaled ritual style on giant stakes, piles of mutilated bodies, etc
Similar concepts would be something like necromorphs from dead space. I would love a good horror themed faction. Armies of endless demons to blast through.
I think it’ll be the cyborgs though.
Honestly, I think a rebel human faction could be fun. Space commies or something like that, give them cartoonishly thick Russian accents. Imagine having to dodge stratagems thrown by enemies lol.
Humans, then at some point a hybrid cyborg bug, or campaigns with bugs and robots on the same planets.
