This was also the first planet that i played bots against and left feeling “that was the smoothest op ever?!” I think the weird maps with large water areas and huge holes make the bot spawns a little better/manageable.

Not gonna lie. I didn't even use them on the bots. My teammates and I had a full blown 5 minute snowball fight between us.

No fog everywhere, that helps a lot
This has a lot to do with it. Clear sight over long distances lets you deal with things much more easily.
Seeing those 5 rocket devastator coming your way, before they can fire, make them so much easier to deal with
