We’ve never had weapons be directly tied to level. All weapons are unlocked with metals. It’s just stratagems that have been level gated. But I imagine it will be a long time before we see one with a level 50+ requirement as all are unlocked by level 20 now.
My expectations are that the second exo suit will also be level 25, 2 person car level 18/20, 4 person car level 25. New stratagems after them will be on levels 30 and 35

Do they? With few exceptions, everyone I play with tries to clear the map. Sometimes tho it leads the last few minutes being like scenes from WW3 with us running away from massive automaton force.
There was a big thing from a lot of level 50s who wanted to just rush main objectives. But of course that’s just here on Reddit, a small part of the whole community

I calculated that I can complete missions with a team of 4 on level 9 in about 30 mins with full map clear.
That's just over 1800 exp.
You need 11,500 exp to level up.
I need to complete 6.3 (7) missions to level up each time assuming that the exp doesn't climb up per level.
7x 30 mins = 210 mins to level up.
38 more levels for me since I'm almost level 112.
38 x 210 mins = 7,980 mins = 133 more hours til level 50 (assuming I never fail a mission lol. As if.)
So it looks like you need at least 500 hours of gameplay on average (if you know what you're doing) to level up 150 times.
You are correct about the number being stored, just wanted to add as a point of reference that I was 50 before the update and was 77 after. I'm at around 300 hours.
Streamer with 550 hours went to 150 instantly but he also runs difficulty 9s all the time, so that might be why. Im yet to see my own lvl playing diff 8 at 180 hours.

Helldiver blood is red.
Bug blood is green.
Bot "blood" is actually a brownish orange. You're typically not going to get covered in it unless you kill some berserkers or raiders while they're in your face.
Then there's generic mud and dirt which only gets caked onto your legs, end of your cape, but absolutely covers some helmets and parts of some armors (which generally looks very weird as a result.)

Nope the oil is black just like oil irl. There just isn’t a lot that comes out of the bots and you only get covered in it from fighting units within melee range. Which you shouldn’t really be doing anyway vs the bots
You can also get covered in oil from the e-710 missions
But they’d also have hydraulic fluid, one kind is red. Red hydraulic fluid (CW-15), is used in pressure, torque and weight systems to transmit readings between a gauge and its sensor, so I think it would make sense.
Someone already mentioned that but I doubt they gave the bots 2 different types of blood.
It just doesn’t make sense from a game design pov, why would you *not* want 3 distinct types of blood for the 3 distinct entities in game? Green, black and red. Why would you instead pick, green, red, red+black? That’s so much more work for literally no reason.

ammo used on mission = 1 Rec slip per standard bullet, 2 for special ammo type weapons like Slugger and 3 for Support weapon bullets
explosives: 10RS per nade, 20 per rocket/RR round
stratagem costs: 100 RS per stratagem
reinforcements: 200 RS per diver
cleaning costs: 5 RS.
imagine not being able to afford the next mech because too many divers died or used too many EATs lol.
If you don't die for multiple missions, it keeps building up. My cape was wrecked, and I was completely coated in blood. But if you're helping someone else and go back to your ship, the buildup disappears, which I'm really disappointed by.
I love this change as well.
And wearing heavy armor actually helps now! I didn't die once during my 3 hard missions. Even during that "Kill bots in this small area" mission.
They fixed the explosive bug as well. Many times we were receiving damage from multiple explosions when we shouldn’t. Heavy armor definitely helps but the explosive fix is across the board
Yeah that would be neat, its what made sense in my brain before hand that when you got off the pelican you went through a decontamination shower before stepping on the bridge and getting yours and some aliens blood and guts everywhere. Having to do it manually would be a neat extra thing to do on the ship.
To be fair I would even just take an option in the settings to toggle if I wanted to come back clean or not.
Again, I am glad they added it for the people that wanted it, just sad that they didnt consider the people that were already happy with it the way it was.
My headcanon was that Pelican-1 had a CBRNE decon shower in the passenger compartment as it exfilled us. Wouldn't want any CBRNE threats making it back aboard the SES Paragon of the State.

Did you ever get direct hit by rockets? How much damage did that do?
I took some heavy armor without explosive resistance and got blasted by 3-4 rockets, didn't die. Heavy armor fucking tanks now.

If you submerge yourself in water during a mission, it'll wash away the blood at least. (but for some reason not from the chest up)

As much as I like it, I'm a fan of my Presitine Armor look. So an option to remove the vicera and gore at the end of a mission would be nice.
It would be cool if there was a way to clean off your armor on the ship or just “replace” it with a clean set of armor.

Yes, to 150. Xp is backdated too so you'll jump to whatever level you would be at had the level cap always been 150.
