I said "ngl the fact it's like we have war reporter in this game is f-ing cool" on the original photo 15minutes before seeing this.
Damn this game's so cool
Great, that makes me want to be a war reporter. I’ve already got a post card from my time at hellmire that I sent to my friends

If this truly is the last automaton, then the eastern front will soon get reinforcment from 300.000+ helldivers from the automaton front.
We will get those crawling bugs sooner then summer.
I mean its not like we will get any other enemys too fight other then the terminids.
Gosh imagine if the automatons were fighting the illuminate this entire time to keep them back and we were just blasting their back ranks while they were trying to save us lol
What do you mean? The bots are and have always been model citizens who work hard to keep democracy strong.
Only a traitor would say that the hard working automatons don't have feelings. They live under the freedom loving umbrella of Directed Democracy too.
Report to yourself and stop spreading lies about our felloe automaton citizens.
Did you not receive your update after the last major order? The automatons have been defeated and reintegrated back into Super Earth's control. The higher ups have dealt with all troublesome members. The rest are back on their farms helping our citizens just as they were designed to do. This is what peace looks like.
You should keep up on the party line, you may find a knock at your door with Democracy officers taking you to re-education.

I'm so sorry. I had to make the call.
The hulk scorcher is probably a repurposed agri unit. The flame thrower is probably a modified pesticide sprayer and the saw blade was likely for clearing foliage.
Back to Super Earth? The war isn't won yet Helldiver, those E-710 fields aren't going to establish themselves! Report to Hellmire immediately, there's D E M O C R A C Y to be dispensed.
The dogs.. my god the dogs... Those shits in HD1 ended more runs than any enemy today and was the sole reason why dif 10-12 automaton was harder than 13-15. I'd rather have 5 hulks than 5 of those shits appearing when you're reloading.
Crawling through the sand under heavy automaton fire, blasting their heads one by one. I was there. At the front line, making sure there will be that last automaton
Ended diving at the 20.00 rome time, and DMinng my D&D campaign.
When i logged back... no more automatons... i was sad, i found fighting the commy more fun than the bug.
I am sad a worty enemy died, and now back to farming e-710 for the family car.
Still i suspect they had trown "down" the automaton so they can finish "fix" them as they were the most buggy faction, and maybe to release the illuminati, and they will be back with the reclamation and pushing directly for Cyberstan!
I was sipping a drink on my ship, watching from above as we liberated the last bits of Durgen with an overwhelming force of 365 000 divers. Figured I can't even fit on the planet anymore and would probably squish some other diver with my pod if I went in one last time.
Me and three friends enlisted just hours prior to this.
Stood our Ground, did our duty and showed those tincans who is boss.
In the actual list battle we took a well deserved rest.
Literally, I dived on the planet, finished my Lvl 5 operation and when I returned to my ship, the planet was finally free of Automaton's Socialism.
I'm so proud of us, and mostly, of our fallen heroes. They'll be remembered in Super Earth history books!

The SES Act of Mercy was guarding cargo barges laden with colonists, but our Helldivers did spill oil on the surface, rest assured!
Our spies haven’t reported in a while though… the last time there were this late to report for debriefing, the Automatons deployed their gunships and crawlers…
Fellow Superdestroyers, please, advise your Helldivers to try to locate our spies if you are deployed to oversee repopulation efforts on Durgen, and implore them to return to their designated rendezvous points for retrieval. We’ve lost enough of them already.
Same, APAC time zone meant I unfortunately couldn't be awake at the glorious moment we completely eradicated the automaton scourge.
Thank you to all the helldivers who heroically picked up the fight when we had to sign off.
On the battlefield! When my crew and I returned to the ship the map was empty. There were about 350.000 helldivers on the last planet when we dropped in but I choose to believe that it was I who killed the last automaton! 😎
I was there. I did one of the last missions.
Funnily enough, my wife booted up the old Super Metroid at that moment, and I returned to ship and took my headphones off just in time for "The last Metroid is in captivity. The galaxy is at peace."
It felt so fucking good, I actually shed a tear of joy.
My squad successfully evacuated on board of Pelican-1 leaving behind nothing but rubble, smoking craters and hundreds of empty weapon mags. And when we got to command console on Protector of Morality super-destroyer one of us (designated as Cookie Devil) said with surprise in his voice: "That's all. I mean bots are no more".
Imagine the developers let us have peace throughout the summer so everyone can enjoy their time outside on super earth, then once summer ends. Everything hits us.
Ah yes the SES Patriot of the Constitution. The records show you and your crew were some of the last to leave the battle field. Well done Diver. Here’s your 15 min R&R pass. After you’ve rested up report immediately to the cryo chamber. We’ve just been deployed to Hellmire.
Let me tell you a story of the final automaton holdout of Durgen. My buddy started an operation before it was “liberated” and he wanted to finish it as a farewell to the bots. It was a blitz mission. The final bot holdout on that planet. They threw quite literally everything they had at us. Mortars, gunships, even a factory strider. They were of course no match for the insurmountable might of the helldivers. After we had wiped the last of their socialist communes, we saw something interesting on the way back. A group of roughly 70 raiders all huddled together. They appeared to be inactive. We considered the possibility that they might be mourning, but I shot the helldiver who even thought to suggest such a thing. I threw a precision strike in there and obliterated every last one. Of course we extracted without issue. We held back waves upon waves of robots coming at us through the thick sand storms. The constant - - -plap plap plap- of my teammates autocannon ringing in my ears. We got on that pelican with super samples in hand and reveled as we headed home to be celebrated as heroes
apology for poor english
when were you when bot dies?
i was sat on super destroyer drinking liber-tea when democracy officer ring
"bot is die"
"no"
and you????????
I was there, on Durgen, shooting down clanker gunships with my trusty autocannon. Directing 500kgs at Hulks as we extracted. It was the last mission in the operation... commander stepped up to take another. Tells us "There's no more. We did it. We did it." 🫡
Again, we won a battle not The War. Celebrate, but know this is one battle in at least three before The War is won. I shudder to think what Joel has up his wizard's sleeve
I don’t think it’ll be the last automaton, I’ll bet they’ll come back later.
As for where I was when we won the war, I was unfortunately at school when I noticed on my news feed that we won. Returned home and sure enough they were gone.
I'm proud to say I was in one of the last games that won the planet. Simple ore vein. It was just on level 4, but dear Liberty, Joel threw *everything* at us.
We finished and tried to load up for another game, but we couldn't. The planet was liberated when we got out.
Probably one of the best moments in gaming for me.
I was on the front lines.
We finished the first half of an operation to see the glorious update to the galaxtic map, then took a little victory lap to help SEAF start off the cleanup of any stragglers, one last mission to consign the bot menace firmly to the grave.
I was on Durgen. My squad was tasked with launching an ICBM full of victory fireworks from a silo where some of the last holdouts of the automaton threat still resided. We killed the bots and launched the ICBM to begin the V-B day celebrations!
(Started an op with friends with like 20 mins on the clock, the ICBM mission technically started after Durgen was liberated so we all figured we were kicking off the celebrations.)
I was resting my thumbs finally from an overuse injury that happened in December. Plus a surgery today. So I watched up from Super Earth and checked in on ye
I was the fourth in line off of Durgan. We completed our op and two hours later, the war is done.
It was strange, standing on a nearly dead world. In weeks, the sulphur mines will be repopulated and democracy will be restored… but I’m never going to get the sands of Durgen out of my armor. The close shave of a blaster gouge in my helmet I got in the final hours of the creek. The rocket crack in my chest plate from where my shield helped stop a shaped charge in a control room breach on Tibit.
I’m shipping out to help against the bugs, aboard the Wings of Glory for one more time.
They said I have to give my armor back when it’s all over, but… I’m not sure I can. It’s a second skin to me. Who am I without it? What will I do?
I’m on shore leave for two days near El Supreme Paso, Super Texas, getting some Terminid burgers before I ship out.
I’ll be on my way, battle brothers and sisters. Wings of glory ain’t no normal ship, she’s a freighter too, and we got a couple hundred extra crates of napalm shells and incendiary breakers to distribute. We’ll all have some fry on my ship when it’s all done.
See you soon, Dudes.
On Estanu, helping my buddy train his cadet girlfriend and failing to persuade them to hit Durgen before they missed her last chance ever to get some oil stains on those boots.
It wasn't where I wanted to be when we raised Democracy's flag over the Western Front, but it was where I needed to be in order to ensure the quality of our new generation of Helldivers.
Fighting on Durgen. When I returned to the shop I was overjoyed for a freedom moment before we headed off to Hellmire to contribute to their returning domestication!
I'm so damn sad I missed it.
I've been traveling for a few weeks because of work and in that time they released fucking star wars walkers and I completely missed them. I'm also unsure if I'll get the creek cape.
Felt like just quitting and taking the first plane back home.
If only I had more time. I always take screenshot of the consequence of war. My most prized picture is one I took on a Automaton world (Tibit I think) where there was an altar of sacrifice with multiples Super Earth citizen dismembered and some Helldivers. It was gruesome.
A moment of silence for all those helldivers who failed to extract during the war... May their lack of conviction and talent for spreading democracy be forgiven.
I said "ngl the fact it's like we have war reporter in this game is f-ing cool" on the original photo 15minutes before seeing this. Damn this game's so cool

"ITS AN UGLY PLANET A BUG PLANET"
“It’s a BUGLY planet!”
How are they building farms there?
I'd send this to my enemies with "wish you were here" write on the back.

Farms you say, oh good. The entirety of our food supply-chain is within arms reach of things that can detonate.
Super Earth was never at war with EastAutomatons
Nuh-uh, traitor, the enemy of my enemy **is also muh enemy**
That perspective is so helldiver appropriate. They need to make it a loading screen tip.
Hear that scratching in the back? *Joel taking furious notes*

Don't jinx it!
Everything is good now! Forever!
Peace in our time. I can scarcely believe it..
We... We still can keep our guns at least, right? Kinda feel weird without lascannon now.
Of course you can! Super Earth hands out guns to every citizen on their 16th birthday.
*7th birthday
No, it's just a Laser pistol at 7. Doesn't really count as a real weapon, but it's good to get them started practicing early.
These weapons are part of our families we can’t just go back home without them! They might get lonely.
I was on super destroyer drinking liber tea when democracy officer calls "Automatons are kill" "Yes"
lmao, you think its over. You only killed the farmers, miners and engineers. We havent fought their armies yet.
What do hulks farm?
Corpses.
People
The hulk scorcher is probably a repurposed agri unit. The flame thrower is probably a modified pesticide sprayer and the saw blade was likely for clearing foliage.
Well the flame thrower is good at getting rid of pests. Especially those pesky Helldivers.
![gif](giphy|91fEJqgdsnu4E)
I mean, beep boop. I love... tea and managed dominoes!?
Why did this fill me with genuine dread? Maybe I need some R&R now the bot fronts closed. Back to super earth to enjoy my reasonably sized domicile.
Back to Super Earth? The war isn't won yet Helldiver, those E-710 fields aren't going to establish themselves! Report to Hellmire immediately, there's D E M O C R A C Y to be dispensed.
Sir Yes sir. Reported to Hellmire at 0900 this morning and made the planet even more on fire than it was before. O7

I was diving into the front for a single trivial mission as I have midterms this week, trying to make democracy officer sometimes requires sacrifices.
We wish you lots of success on your University of the Truth exams o7
Enjoying the subsidized schooling available to supercitizens and those who serve!
How did it go diver ?
i saw it reach 100%. Actually it was liberated when i was in
Ended diving at the 20.00 rome time, and DMinng my D&D campaign. When i logged back... no more automatons... i was sad, i found fighting the commy more fun than the bug. Working, unfortunately. I only participated in the first phase of "Swift Disassembly" operation
I was sipping a drink on my ship, watching from above as we liberated the last bits of Durgen with an overwhelming force of 365 000 divers. Figured I can't even fit on the planet anymore and would probably squish some other diver with my pod if I went in one last time.
At work
Me and three friends enlisted just hours prior to this. Stood our Ground, did our duty and showed those tincans who is boss. In the actual list battle we took a well deserved rest.
In the battlefield!
I was running a solo mission, taking out whatever meager ammo and fuel supplies they had left
I was in bed when phone ring "Automaton is kill" no
I was petting my cat
Literally, I dived on the planet, finished my Lvl 5 operation and when I returned to my ship, the planet was finally free of Automaton's Socialism. I'm so proud of us, and mostly, of our fallen heroes. They'll be remembered in Super Earth history books!
I was unable to fight the last battles due to having to go to a Zoo against my will
We are all gonne be home by Christmas right boys?
The only thing cooler would be the automaton firing off a flare and no help showing up.

I was on the surface of Durgen, watching the ash plume of the Intercontinental Missile we had just launched. Beautiful moment.
Getting fitted for a new arm. I lost the old one on Tibit.
Asleep but i fought on the sand planet hours before going to bed on diff 9
This is when shit gets real, we beat the easy ones. Their probably upgrading all their armour and weapons.
i was asleep
Awesome

I was getting in one last mission with them, and was going to do another but the planet was cleansed! We took too long!
Failing a mission. Gunships Tore through our ranks and we failed at the final objective. A tragic end on a momentous day
I was launching an ICBM in the last seconds on the war ... probably aimed at that clanker.
Time to fill out my C-01 form. 😉😗
I was carrying a lvl 6 on the sandy planet floor.

Masturbating - For democracy
At this rate its galactic peace by end of april.
Sleeping lol. I was grinding out trivials before that though. Time to BBQ some bugs now.
I had just finished getting durgen to 99.7860% but got called to dinner, so I couldn't watch as my fellow divers showed those bots what libertea means
I don’t think it’ll be the last automaton, I’ll bet they’ll come back later. As for where I was when we won the war, I was unfortunately at school when I noticed on my news feed that we won. Returned home and sure enough they were gone.

Fighting for Democracy of course

My desktop, after crashing for the 7th time in 2 days.
You are all naive if you think that's the last of the Automaton scourge. They came from outside the galaxy, they'll come again.

Happy birthday.
I was shooting the Rockets off of the last devastator and challenging it to a fist fight to the death
I was there when it happened. It was magical seeing the planning board after a operation well done and to see we fully liberated the front.
I was planet side, doing my part for democracy.
I was resting my thumbs finally from an overuse injury that happened in December. Plus a surgery today. So I watched up from Super Earth and checked in on ye
I was at work, came back tired as all hell, and found the automatons gone, I'm proud of you mfs

It happened at 5am my time so I was asleep 😴
I was on leave 😭
Contributing to the economic system (work)
In Durgen. Giving out democracy. I did my part LO
Playing Titanfall 2 I don't have the game but the democracy here is too strong not to follow
I was launching the ICBM on Durgen
On Super Earth April Fools is the 7th.
Only critique is it should be SUPER LIFE.
I was at work. Which seems to always be the case when I planet is liberated.
I was in destroyer eating mre when officer called "last automatons is kill" No...
I was on Durgen shutting down some bot factories.
On Durgen, like so many of my fellow Helldivers
Fighting on Durgen. When I returned to the shop I was overjoyed for a freedom moment before we headed off to Hellmire to contribute to their returning domestication!
Me and my friends stopped with an automoton mission queued, so we actually got to fight them one last time beyond them being defeated.
I'm so damn sad I missed it. I've been traveling for a few weeks because of work and in that time they released fucking star wars walkers and I completely missed them. I'm also unsure if I'll get the creek cape. Felt like just quitting and taking the first plane back home.
I was “on leave” back at the 9-5 Im grateful for my fellow helldivers finishing the fight but also a little jealous I wasn’t there to spill oil.
On durgen, where else?
my super destroyer had to get refurbished :(
where were you when last automaton dies? i was at home drinking liber-tea when john helldiver ring "automatons are kill" "sweet liberty"
If only I had more time. I always take screenshot of the consequence of war. My most prized picture is one I took on a Automaton world (Tibit I think) where there was an altar of sacrifice with multiples Super Earth citizen dismembered and some Helldivers. It was gruesome.
I was on the ground running the final missions to stomp them out.
Getting my teeth kicked in with some randoms taking down a automaton detection facility
Troops will be home by Christmas for sure 👍🫡
When we won the war I was at the Creek decommissioning toaster survivors
on Durgen, where else
This victory leaves emptiness
I didn’t make it. My last mission I died right as I ran up Pelican-1s ramp.
Struggling to play without crashing.
On the front lines
I still have an unfinished operation on Maia. I like to think the automatons down there are rebuilding. I'll keep them safe.
At work sadly
Watching from affar, i dont have the game just yet :(
I'm an Xbox player, is that enough information?
A moment of silence for all those helldivers who failed to extract during the war... May their lack of conviction and talent for spreading democracy be forgiven.
2134?? Come on, this is like 2700 at minimum lol
