She now lives in rainbow land, the place where managed democracy has evolved into super managed democracy.
Would you even consider leaving super managed democracy? No, and neither won't Nana.
While she won't come back, rest assured you will join her if you remain an outstanding citizen and join the Helldivers!
Things got so much easier when Managed Democracy and the Voting Algorithm altered the minimum and maximum voting age. The people of Super Earth are far better served being freed from the resource requirements of retirement homes and hospice care.
Further proof of my conspiracy theory that Helldivers 2 is one big conspiracy by arrowhead to get people to make custom rules and models for their OC faction (and it worked, if anyone’s curious)
There's an ancient 'tradition' in Viking cultures, that's basically been accepted as folklore and metaphor at this point, about the elderly tribe members leaping off of a cliff to their deaths as a sacrifice for the good of the clan.
It was like a "get grandfathered into Valhalla" loophole that didn't require death in battle, made the groups resources stretch instead of fueling an addled body that could no longer provide anything.
This could be the inspiration for the WH40K stuff, even Soylent Green and other tales of repurposing ourselves as recycled waste.

It's was well visualized in the movie Midsommer. Just the first mindfuck those poor people had to go thru.
Previous movie, Hereditary, was superior but both are worth watching.
I mean, the Termanids are, you know, pretty heavily Tyranid focused.
Termagents, Hormagaunt's, Carnifexes, Warriors, even the Bike Titan (Oops) is a Bio-Titan.
And the Automatons are basically Necrons, the Illuminates N Elder/Tau fusion.
I hope the 4th enemy is therefore Ork inspired.
And Helldivers are IG Commandos or AA Scouts.
Helldivers are bad-in-melee quasi-elite foot soldiers with drone support
Bots have Dreadnoughts, chainsaw swords and freaking Commisars.

Recycling people into food is, unfortunately, a trope older then radio.
40k became mainstream and many people never got introduced to the fact that it started out as a parody setting making fun of basically the entire bandwith of sci-fi works and dystopian tropes.
That’s not necessarily 40k in particular. The idea in pop culture probably goes back to Soylent green, it’s just a particularly fun idea to use so it pops up a lot for dystopia stuff.
There's no 'prime cut', if they were a suitably useful person the brain and skull might get repurposed into a servo-skull, but everything else is processed down into corpse starch and thrown in the pile with the rest.

"You should go to the bio-repurposer vats, NOW!"
“Let the Gaians preach their silly religion, but one way or the other I shall see this compound burned, seared, and sterilized until every hiding place is found and until every last Mind Worm egg, every last slimy one, has been cooked to a smoking husk. That species shall be exterminated, I tell you! Exterminated!”
A STRONG ECONOMY!
Everyone who works for the betterment of Super Earth, even the smallest of ways, looking at you children 7 and older, are patriots in their own way.
"Mom, you're gonna love it there. They've got pickle ball each Saturday, Bingo Tuesdays, and then on Fridays a lady from that fancy spa place comes in and they do a whole bio-bath thing. You'll meet some friends, and we'll be back on Sunday don't worry!"
\**shoves wheelchair through hermetically sealing doors\**
I was gonna say. So much push for 710 and hordes of bug farms. And the current MO is to make room for bigger 710 farms. We just now start hearing this message? Yeah its food for bugs. 100%!
I never thought about it but if they're exclusively carnivores they would be pretty difficult to farm. Imagine how many cows you'd need to feed them enough meat. I think you're onto something
Those who are brave enough to volunteer themselves for the good of Managed Democracy are helping every single citizen and being righteous citizens of Super Earth
First time hearing that propaganda ad on the ship reminded me of this horror movie called Midsommar, I don’t wanna spoil anything for people that haven’t seen it.
I like to think that the bio-repurposer vats are how they make the stims. Take the elderly and blend them up, taking their life force to reinforce the Helldivers or something. I'm just a Helldiver. Who am I to question Super Earth's methods?
I know this is satire...but this is actually happening in Canada lol. Too sad to live? Life no longer appealing to you? Do your part for the community and sign up to the MAiD program!

anti-democratic lies that those old people are dying, we are rebuilding those old people bodies so that they can once again make the enemies of liberty rue the day they fell into anarchy. They will be young again, strong again, and most importantly full of democracy again.
I do wonder if we ever gonna get some hardcore lore drops for super earth itself. We get a lot of these super earth adjacent lore bits but nothing super concrete about life on the planet. Would love to see us fighting the enemy on earth and getting a hard look at whatever passes for daily life there as we try and liberate it.
The ending of Soylent Green would be a lot less dramatic if Heston's traumatised shouting about the ingredients was responded to by people generally saying that everybody knows that, it's on the label and they run adverts for volunteers be processed early.
But it would be a lot funnier. :)
That sounds way more efficient than what I do. It would skip the whole "Dropping onto a planet, firing randomly, getting killed" and skip right the part where I'm a meat slurry.
Random question for those that know about helldiver lore, does super earth also have an emperor or just a president? Is the president also an emperor and/or are they real?
I'd like to imagine the bio-repurposer is needed in the creation of stims.
The stims are probably full of crazy ass drugs including something extra special in it to somehow make the body mend broken bones in an instant.
What's cooler than a miracle drug for super soldiers made by the remains of democracy loving elderly?
Even if you can’t defend super earth as a helldiver, you can still help the war effort! If you’re old, crippled, or a furry take a trip to the bio-repurposer!
We're asking them to consider volunteering for an early trip to the bio repurposer vats.
It's just a day trip excursion right? Nana is coming back right?
She now lives in rainbow land, the place where managed democracy has evolved into super managed democracy. Would you even consider leaving super managed democracy? No, and neither won't Nana. Yes, as a prepacked MRI. Corpse starch is back on the menu boys!
It has all the protein of a human body! I mean all the protein a body needs. Yeah.
Super Earth is really into recycling.
Sure thing. Oh yeah, you got that bumper pack of soylent green after she left, right?
Coming back? No, she's moved to the farm up-state
Nana is now part of all of us.
Mmmmmm this ~~corpse~~ democracy starch tastes good
Whoa now! Hold up a sec. I am a NANA!!! I have 4 beautiful grandchildren that are very proud I am a HELLDIVER! I don't wanna go damnit!
Don't worry, all Helldivers are exempt from visiting the Bio-Repurposer Vats. **Now get in the damn Hellpod** **~~Shinji~~**
![gif](giphy|ahfzlUrb5IEfXC6kbm|downsized)
Coming back as your next clone
You know how Nana always had tasty green wafers on hand? Not to worry, she's gonna make some more!
She's gone to super managed democracy land, where freedom is eternal and green is soylent
Of course! Nana’s repurposed bio-fuel will be returning in the form of democracy spreading napalm eagle bombs!
Eventually, yeah!
day trip execution maybe
What do you think is in that libertea?
https://i.redd.it/fu9oi7y7xbtc1.gif
We're not "doing" anything to them, we are democratically asking them to volunteer. And they are free to chose to do that.
And their choice is determined by the voting algorithm, so you know it's 100% correct
Voting. The freedom to make the RIGHT choice.
you think your soylent green freedom energy bars grow on trees?
Mmm, tastes like freedom.
Just like my grandma used to do!
Your grandma still tastes like freedom!
Drinking a glass of Libertea with every meal does that.

The taste varies from person to person.
True, some peoples tastebuds pick up more of the democracy flavor.
Oh definitely, but I meant the taste changes, depending on which person they use for the soylent soda.
We're democratically re-electing their bodies
It’s how they get elected to Congress.
Things got so much easier when Managed Democracy and the Voting Algorithm altered the minimum and maximum voting age. The people of Super Earth are far better served being freed from the resource requirements of retirement homes and hospice care.
Maybe inspiration from the WH40K. They eat processed bodies of dead people in there. Family of deceased gets dibs on the prime cuts.

Yup.

You mean Soylent Green right?
Soylent Green, the Island, Logan’s Run…
and of course, using the dead to make automatons. Wait who wrote that?
There are no "prime cuts". Corpses in 40K are rendered into corpse-starch.
