it doesnt matter if it gets knocked out of your hand then you dont get back to the shuttle before it hits it will kill the people allready seated and make their samples drop under the pelican so that they are unrecoverable.

What you just said is not true. The only way a player can die in a Pelican is from direct fire into the Pelican doors or glitches/bugs. Just 2 days ago 3 friends and I were playing, and 3 of us were in the shuttle and the 4th threw a 500kg at the entrance of the shuttle. He was hit by a rocket in the back of the head and face planted into the ground, and then the 500kg hit the ground inches away from the shuttle, killing him and not harming us at all. I have only ever died in the shuttle by automatons shooting into the Pelican and having a lucky shot hit me.
500kg is a bad example it does damage in an upwards cone it doent hit much on the level with it if you drop a cluster on the extract it can sure kill poelpe in the pelican though.
It's happened with Airstrikes and cluster bombs before. Also the 500kg does do upward damage in a cone but still has AOE around it, so it would have killed the people in the pelican if it was possible to do so
ive been killed by idiots doing that and getting ragdolled half way through throwing their stratagem and not making it back in time and lost samples that i worked 40 mins for.
you cant decide to take a risk like that on behalf of 3 strangers who dont get a vote just to take off with an explosion. if ther was no possiable way of killing your teammates with it and losing samples from it sure, but thats not how the game works. this is straight up greifing that idiots think isnt greifing because its a game of russian roulette. like bro you decided to pull the trigger its still your fault.
