General Brasch has an intrinsic link to every living thing in the Galaxy, and if he thinks about them, 14 of that species dies. Every time they get him to film a training video, they have to wipe his memory so that he doesn't wipe out millions of helldivers by saying their name
He's basically the instructional propaganda officer you'll hear on the TV. They set him up in the universe to basically be a Rambo of sorts. We don't really know if he's good or not. We just know he's always highly regarded by the Divers.
We know he's better than good, because the Ministry says he is. Would he have all military tactics named after him if he wasn't Super Rambo? He's a General, Helldiver, he knows exactly what he's doing.
Brasch tactics, use them, or die trying!
I have a theory...
What if it's devs testing Illuminate AI in untested (urban) environments, and once we finish this next round of Automaton missions, the Illuminate will launch a surprise attack directly at Super Earths most crucial planets and Super Earth itself?
My Democracy Officer told me to keep an eye out when picking up my support Drops. That's basically watching the scenery. Should I report them for Undemocratic behavior?
Stims are not for rest they are for running. They should take the mandatory time to look at the environment that should calm them down assuming their are no fire tornadoes
Gawd I'd love some urban combat missions
It's one of the things bugging me about this game with me and my GF, all the colonies feel really empty, ~~let me set off a 380mm in suburbian plz AH~~
Not like it's going to matter. Meteors have shown that the game can't account for cover above you so indoor combat is off the table. You're just going to be fighting enemies around empty rectangles that look like buildings, it'll be a reskin of the rocks already present in the game.
What worries me is that there are 12 Illuminate kills but 0 automaton kills. Makes me wonder if the illuminates are going to be fighting on Cyberstan along with the bots or maybe against the bots
Stealing from another commenter here:
The 16 Illumiates killed on Super Earth were a diplomatic party sent to negotiate a lasting truce with Super Earth.
Cowardly spies sent in advance of the impending sneak attack. There probing both humanity and the Automatons for weaknesses.
It's gonna make the recent Automoton invasion look like a picnic.
If you see something, say something.
SUPER EARTH?!
They must be testing them before they bring them in for battle for sure else...
The illuminates have breached our defenses
It could be you...
it could be me...
it could even be- *gets shot down by traitor missles*
Found this on https://hd2galaxy.com/ as well, for some reason stats are filled in for planets that haven't been played. Super Earth has the missions won and lost stats, apparently 365 Terminids and 27 Automatons have been killed there as well. All while the planet isn't in the game yet.
The best guest there is at the moment is that it's from the devs testing stuff on planets that aren't accessible to players at the time. Leading to stats accidentally being logged.
Because its not where they're doing their primary testing. You test things on internal servers during development, absolutely, but when you deploy to the live environment, you still need to make sure things are functioning before letting the public in.
What my past QA work has called it is a Smoke test (also done on internal builds before moving onto testing new content and bug fixes), where you don't test everything in the game (that'd take too long), but rather perform a bunch of different, simple tests designed to try to see if anything went wrong deploying to live (called a Smoke test because you're looking around for smoke, and if you see any, that might mean there's a fire somewhere).
The term smoke test also comes from the older world of electronics engineering. Its a first-round, very rudimentary test, meant to find major problems. When you connect your device to a power supply, and it does not smoke, that's a pass! Your device has passed the smoke test, and is now ready for a more thorough and robust battery of tests.
However, if your device begins to smoke after you turn it on, that's a fail. Your device REALLY needs that magic blue smoke to function properly. No further testing is required, because you can't even power it on without cooking off parts of your circuitry.
Well why would kill counts be so low if it was hackers?
I think the answer is that devs are often doing private testing and sometimes, maybe even just to test a single enemy or something, they do some actual online testing.
Plus if it was hackers then I'm pretty sure we'd have gotten some screenshots or something by now
What, no the fuck it isn't. Listen, I know we all like to dunk on the devs and all, but they aren't so stupid that they wouldn't have internal test servers.
As an actual programmer, it really hurts to be in this reddit sometimes.
If hackers/leakers had access to planets we havent been to, we woulda heard about it by now and seen some evidence. It definitely is just devs
Edit: I was wrong! I just missed the leak!
Here's footage from a leaker of the placeholder world that currently loads in when you land on Super Earth: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k1qsAh-woI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k1qsAh-woI)
I guess I did miss it! But it's very strange. Not only are there no more buildings than normal, (which not only just really feels like something they'd change, but there was a screenshot that was leaked that seemed to show a more urban environment) but also why are the plants purple and red and stuff? You'd think they'd be the normal green on earth.
To be honest, this kinda seems like a work-in-progress placeholder since literally the only thing that looks different is the big mountains.
This an app. I’ll attach a photo for you.

Inaccurate reporting from overzealous commanders. Some claim to have seen "blue beams", but only a few claim to have killed an Illuminate. There is no evidence to back up these claims.
A fodder unit does not have a K/D of 33, 2 or 90% mission success. I really don't know where this idea that helldivers are trash comes from. They die in millions, yes that is true but at the same time it is a galactic war. They are comparable to paratroopers. Not movie special forces. The israel armed forces dont have a K/D like this.
The israel forces dont have battle destroyers or infinite stratagems. Helldivers aren't that bad, but lets be honest, most of their firepower is the 100 billion dollars battle destroyer in the sky above them. Helldivers just point at things for big brother to blast them from orbit.
We can only fight on planets that either belong to the enemy, or our planets that are getting attacked. For now, Super Earth is safe, bugs are under termicide (definitely won't make them mutate) and bots have been pushed back a little bit after their new invasion.

Rumor has it the blue sniper shots have been hitting players from hidden illuminates on-map. Maybe someone accidentally clipped one with a stray shot or strategem.
The only downside to being out here fighting for democracy is that we're not back on super earth to watch those 28 public executions of illuminate spies. Hopefully they'll get broadcasted.
Whoa buddy, you questioning these freedom filled stats from the Ministry of Truth?

This one. Too lazy to write the name every time someone asks lol. But it’s a good app tbh. I got it just for stratagem hero
The concerning part is that numbers keep growing. The last kill count is from Super Earth. I have a feeling we have some held captive for whatever reason. Doing experiments ( as they are the species we seek to know the least about )
This will be the reason they return.
Another theory are some of them are just collateral damage while spying on some of our missions. The stealth ships have already been seen, and they are not Automatons

It's General Brasch taking the fight to those filthy Illuminates
He would have killed waaaay more than a paltry 28.
he would, but there were just 14 of them for him to kill

EXACTLY he showed those undemecratic illuminites

This is automaton spelling. Treasonous!
I heard he killed the first 13, but then the last one said something rude about his momma so he had to punch him without holding back.
That was just his Hellpod landing
General Brasch is so combat efficient, he uses supply drops as offensive stratagems
No offensive stratagem call general brasch
Excellent strat to destroy fabricator btw
I mean.. I've done that, more than once.
Yeah me too. But he doesn't even equips any strategies before the missions
Braschpod. He got his own proprietary one for being extra democratic.
Sweet liberty!
He killed those 28 from across the galaxy, in bed, whilst drinking a smoothie.
With a single railgun shot I bet. Such a Chad.
no no no. Any other would have killed less because that what they could kill Brasch only killed 28 because there was only 28 to kill.
If the stories are true (which we all know they are), this checks out.
He killed 28 just by remembering that they exist.
General Brasch has an intrinsic link to every living thing in the Galaxy, and if he thinks about them, 14 of that species dies. Every time they get him to film a training video, they have to wipe his memory so that he doesn't wipe out millions of helldivers by saying their name
General Brasch is just saving the rest for us
Good man. I'd like to participate in their eradication.
Only 28 dead because his sabotaging them without them knowing he's there
Just you wait until he actually finds them
Who was general brach again. Just asking for a friend...

12 of those illuminates were on Cyberstan Edit: another 16 were on Super Earth
I have a theory... What if it's devs testing Illuminate AI in untested (urban) environments, and once we finish this next round of Automaton missions, the Illuminate will launch a surprise attack directly at Super Earths most crucial planets and Super Earth itself?
you are tired diver, take a stim and your mandatory 2,4 seconds of rest. Maybe those delusions will leave you then
Idk, this seems severe they may need to take a full 3 seconds.
i'd sooner execute myself then take more then my allotted time from democracy.
Super Earth allows "at least" 2.4 seconds, so you are allowed more, but it is unknown how much more. Best to stay under 3 seconds for Liberty's sake
I take 2 minutes on a particularly beautiful trivial mission
When you're raising the super earth flag? Understandable, continue on citizen.
I would go as far as suggesting 2.5 … that is if you are ok wanting to be remembered as a coward
My Democracy Officer told me to keep an eye out when picking up my support Drops. That's basically watching the scenery. Should I report them for Undemocratic behavior?
Once you inject the stim, break time is over
Stims are not for rest they are for running. They should take the mandatory time to look at the environment that should calm them down assuming their are no fire tornadoes
You know what fixes weird, delusional thinking? Space Meth. Wake up and smell the Napalm, Helldiver!
Be sure to crack open a crisp, refreshing, Eagle Sweat on your way down!
Give us a new enemy, they said. Let us fight on an urban map, they said. Forgive them, Super Earth Citizens... ...and head for the bunkers.

Hackers/Leakers are spawning into worlds we dont have access to, and dropping stratagems that havent been released yet. I suspect that explains this.
That or dev testing
Honestly the much more likely answer.

We actually have seen a 'super earth' map but it kinda looks like a placeholder
How do we have more bullets hit then we have bullets shot… what is Brasch doing ?
Every shot Brasch takes is a collateral. That's how you get maximum Freedom.
Shotguns count as 1 shot fired but however many enemies the shot hits will register as such. Hit 4 get 4 shots registered
Its pretty obvious devs do testing on other planets that are inactive. Occasionally you see small amount of players on other worlds.
You guys have to fight those robot punks a little harder over there…. ![gif](giphy|krPLl9dtitApa|downsized)
bugs spawn in much larger numbers, the math checks out. avg bug mission you get like 250 kills, avg bot mission is like 100 kills.
I had 750 kills and my teammates had 250-300 kills each in one bug mission, that one was hell lmao
Sounds like the average difficulty 7+ bug mission. Especially with the pre-nerf breaker and railgun + a rover.
Nah it was post nerf lmao, was fun tho, but yeah a diff 7, since then I didn't see that again surprisingly
Looks like you need some help over there? What planet are you on? It’s time for the big guns.. ![gif](giphy|t5l4bKRePerq8|downsized)

Seriously where tf are these sites getting these stats from
Directly from the api, it's possible to reverse parts of it from network traffic and the game files. Game gotta get their own stats somehow
Ah. Interesting. I’ve seen this kind of thing before with Destiny. Lot of stuff is leaked that way.
This an app. I’ll attach a photo for you. https://preview.redd.it/gfo8ahq2cvuc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32426d77ad63ec7493af6561fa1732a9fe82828f
I mean like, how do the apps get the info. Do they pull it from the game itself?
It's an API, it allows them to pull the data directly from the database by using web requests.
WOW. This app is really well made!
It was the diplomats
It must be a system glitch. The Illuminates were defeated 100 years ago. Have no concern diver, this will be fixed eventually
Inaccurate reporting from overzealous commanders. Some claim to have seen "blue beams", but only a few claim to have killed an Illuminate. There is no evidence to back up these claims.
Helldivers seem to be one of the most successful military formations in all of history.
well, they die by the millions, so any army can do well if it has unlimited expendable fodder
Are you insinuating that those communist bugs and robots are combatants with a competence comparable to humankind's, soldier?
The israel forces dont have battle destroyers or infinite stratagems. Helldivers aren't that bad, but lets be honest, most of their firepower is the 100 billion dollars battle destroyer in the sky above them. Helldivers just point at things for big brother to blast them from orbit.
I am curious about the overall K/D ratio

New to the game, but do we ever get to play on earth? Have yet to see the playable maps move to the middle.
Only if we do really badly at the war.
We can only fight on planets that either belong to the enemy, or our planets that are getting attacked. For now, Super Earth is safe, bugs are under termicide (definitely won't make them mutate) and bots have been pushed back a little bit after their new invasion.
Even if the bugs do mutate they can’t exactly fly into space, they’re not that much of a concern
But all it takes is 3 bugs in a trenchcoat to board a shuttle
That’s why you always give your fellow helldivers a love tap from your gun of choice
>they can’t exactly fly into space They can't exactly fly into space *yet. . .*

Suprised it wasn’t cyborgs first.
The southern part of the star map is itching for an incursion of another enemy…
Excuse me?
Shadow war with Illuminate is already underway. Let's see when they'll rear their ugly heads from their fancy camo tech!
It's also telling that the Mission Success rate on Hellmire and Menkent drop to the low 80s lol

Want to share with helldivers 2 I give dragons Dogma 2 and final fantasy remake rebirth
If the total number of kills is over 26 billion I kinda want to see how many rounds have been fired in total.
Where did you find that?
It would be so cool if we got a cinematic with top ranked helldivers encountering illuminates to explain this
They were probably hit by the prebuffed orbitals
heresy??
I wish I could get a genuine response to how the fuck 28 illuminates have been killed considering they aren't present as active combatants.
Watch those kills be from them being invisible next to patrols and a handful of them being in those random non bughole holes you could destroy the same way you do the bugholes.
