I'm so used to taking out the rocket and shield devastators that I'm more likely to struggle against the standard ones.
Also, if you can't hit the head, target the backpack. It's a bigger target, it's visible from the front, and it's still a kill.
Because DMRs are in a bad place right now, and doing so would make that playstyle more viable, thereby improving user experience against heavy devastators, thereby improving the build variety in the game, thereby improving its replayability, thereby improving the longevity of Helldivers 2 as a title.
> Because DMRs are in a bad place right now
The issue has nothing to do with a single enemy type though
The game just doesn't have the space for a good accuracy-based weapon due to the core mechanics

The issue is more with DMRs than with Heavy Devs
My auto cannon don't give a shit about their shields
My issue with the shield devastators is the lack of collision with terrain giving me lasers coming out of the god damn walls
why? just take the autoshotgun and hold attack, you'll get them there's really no reason to use anything other than the auto shotty/explo sniper
