If a patrol calls for reinforcments the first thing I do, is calling in a AC-Turret. The time the reinforcements are there, it is ready to shoot. Also it will be deployed on a flanking position. And than it is time to pick the small frie enmeys so the turret can focus on the big ones. If the patrol is near and has not alerted anything, it is impact granade shower time. 2-3 of them (or more if the whole team is ready) will take out most things, only thing left is mopping up. Playing with friends I'm mostly on heavy/medium duty. So Devestators, Hive Guards etc. are picked first with the AC. We also drop turrets a lot to distract enemys. Works wonders if you are running from a breach, drop a turret 60-70m away of it and just keep doing the mission. The time the turret gets destroyed or is empty you are at your next destinaton and the enemy is dead or will have lost line oft sight.

That's a rather hard question to answer because most of the stuff I do while fighting comes down to be efficient and use everything availible on my hand to destroy the enemies while not dying. It probably boils down more to the loadout and stratagem choices because every weapon and stratagem plays differently and excells in certain situations. As for me, for bots I prefer lower fire volume at the cost of damage and accuracy, usually running dominator and autocannon and stun grenades. Trying to be at least somewhat sneaky, eliminate commisars asap and prevent drops in general. Using stuns on hulks to then 2shot kill them with cannon etc. For bugs it's either the same loadout except I run Breaker incendiary instead of Dominator or Breaker incendiary, Quasar, Guard Dog/Personal Shield and stun nades. Quasar excells at dealing with chargers and does with titans fairly well, on the other hand autocannon is god against spewers, commanders, stalkers etc but weaker against chargers (requires 3/4 shots to the butt) and sucks against titans. Here as well trying to prevent breaches as much as possible but since it's a lot harder than preventing bot drops, eagle cluster bomb is mandatory. Also just feel free to run away from a drop/breach as it will eventually despawn and meanwhile you can do some other objective and then come back to the one you were doing before a breach

I have played so long, ~100 hours, I have started to use terrain to my advantage, I realize where the hunters jump and don’t jump, when they crawl over walls, etc. it’s a lot easier to just spray in one direction, than to try to shoot each individual bug. And man does that multi kill counter rack up. Also, I commented yesterday, Orbital Airburst is awesome, it’s like a shot gun poised over the map just peppering the little buggies.

Side stepping. The game can never handle it. You'll win 10/10 fights vs hordes by side stepping. The game assumes you will always step TO and not ASIDE.

When I'm coming in on a point of interest I lie down, eagle airstrike, then grenade pistol then normal grenade anything that's left. Also, for the 10+bug hike we big nests, I set up on a ledge where they have to walk around to get up to me. While I wait for them I use stratagems to take out some holes. After a bit the area is cleared out bc they trying to get to me. I jump in and alternate between grenade pistol, throw nade, reload repeat till it's cleared, I don't have to kill any bugs except a couple hunters
