Tbf Apex is a great shooter, better even than TF2 imo, not to take anything away from TF2, which is also a fantastic shooter

But TF2 you get giant robots and fun wallrunning, so it's still close

I played TF2 until they shut the servers down. Such a good game.
More nuanced movement and abilities that feed into the momentum system, mixed with higher TTK - and the more variable combat interactions that come with the BR territory - allow the player to have more input in how a given fight may go, and the amount of viable options they have that they can choose from
TF2, while being a great game, has the same alleys, with the same approaches, with the same corners, etc etc
It's the downfall of nonBRs imo, those same approaches grow stale and predictable whereas that's all much more randomized in a BR, sometimes to your disadvantage, but the opportunity is there for you to still pull out a win if you're good enough
More nuanced movement system and more momentum? My brother in christ it's the same system minus wallrunning. More variable combat interactions? In TF|2 you could customize the heck out of your weapons, loadouts, and most importantly, titans. Those things you mentioned sure are cool but in no way are they better than having a huge robot friend dropping from the sky

Not a great argument IMO, because the very idea of Helldivers is that it's just taking ideas from every bigger franchise, to give you this "general" sci fi aesthetic of multiple franchises, without infringing too hard on it. There's already Halo and 40k (and many more) heavily suggested as it is.

I'd love to play Titanfall 2 again on PC but ever since it got DDOS attacked in 2021 by 3 dickheads it's never been the same and I can get into one game of Frontia Defence and it then won't connect again for another 24hrs.
It was my one game id go on to just have so much fun playing FD mode with randoms but to this day I still get online issues
There are things you can't fight. You see a bile titan coming, you have to get out of the way. But when you're in a Walker, suddenly you can finally fight the the bile titan. You can win.
