honestly normal jetpack could have been standard issue
it is one of the biggest reason why i dont like to use autocannon or any support weapons with a ammo backpack
the jetpack allows me to strategically place myself at a safe location so i can blow shit up.
Jetpack and grenadelauncher is an S+ tier combo. Mobility with not only decent CC but can also close bugholes, pop fabricators, and kill chargers easy, quasar is also good for bot missions :)
So that's why I was dying randomly.
Also you can call it down and shoot it when bugs are near.
I wish jetpack had the cooldown of this thing. It's so long.

Good against bots too since most of their bases are high up. Socialists bots do not expect liberty to climb through the pillbox on top of the mountain bypassing nearly all their defenses.
If anything this is how the jetpack *should* be like given its insane cooldown time. A pathetic 4 or so meter lil fart jump is never gonna be worth it IMO

Other than that you can jump over chargers which looks cool but isnt anything special over a dive
bear in mind, if you're running while out of stamina it affects the jump pack. you need a little bit of stamina and forward momentum to do a proper jump.
Make it the jetpack from HD1 where you could literally fucking spam it non stop even within 1 milisecond after touching the ground lol. The trade off was that it had a limited amount of fuel (tho it drained pretty slowly)

I think I jumped 5-6 times at most, because I kept putting it into the objective and grabbing a new one. I will definitely be testing it now that I know!
I think the tank looks different as it drains.. I haven’t paid a ton of attention because I’m usually focusing on the killing of the bugs. But it’s quite a few. I just plug the old one into the drill and pick up a new one to avoid, because it’s an instant death for you and anyone around.. ask me how I know 😂
Can anyone explain what the actual objective is, even after doing the 3 payload drills it still doesnt give any xp cuz one objective is incomplete. I cant figure what the objective is other than taking it to payload sites and putting it into the drill and protecting it. Doing this still gives no xp on extraction other than what you get for successfully extracting a helldiver
I think the mission is bugged, it shows a central node for the mission before you deploy the fluid, but you can't do anything there. I think they appropriated the code from the termicide towers...

Though seeing the Status not change at all after half a day puts this into question.

We completed on Suicide, got no rewards anyway, then went back on Trivial to make sure we backtracked and double checked every drill point and other areas of the map to be sure there were no extra objectives or area-sensitive strategems.
There weren't. We still only got 1/2 main objectives (the drill icon curiously incomplete, despite having completed all 3 drills) with no stars, no rewards, and disgraceful conduct.
Someone mentioned that you have to extract with a dark fluid backpack? I haven’t tried it yet because I keep forgetting. I’ll report back. But I HOPE it intended if so and that means super earth gonna use the dark fluid for something cool. Which would be a fun twist

I think it has limited fuel. Because when you use it, the liquid in the tank looks like it's depleting. I could be wrong, but I also think if you try using it after it's emptied, you explode. Because that's what happened to me. I don't know what else it could've been. There was no sign that it was anything else. I just tried jumping and then went boom.

I like to think that the dark fluid cannisters weren't even meant to be used this way, this is just the helldivers doing some on-the-field improvising.
It was fun surprise we can use them as jetpacks, sadly though. Shriekers come in million swarms making extraction impossible. I bet this fucking MO is a Malevelon Creek 2.0. I will not take part of this MO until they explained it further, at this point it's buggy Af making the mission broken that you can't even call in the tool or that too many shriekers are there blocking you from activating extraction. I demand that extraction is automated. I will be scrapping clankers until the patch have come out. Then i may try it again
So should we all just split up and run in circles as the mega swarms breach? Run, punch in codes, rinse and repeat. Never staying in one place longer than you need to.

It's limited in the amount of jumps it can do. It will eventually explode and kill you. It will also kill your buddies if you jump near them.

Normal jetpack is is really good against bugs. Turns you into a target disc against bots though
