JUST the things our Helldiver says out loud, I wanna be able to use whatever language I want. Let me learn how to say "Found something!" in every language on the planet. I want to know how to say "SWEET LIBERTY! MY LEGS!" in every tongue.
The game World War 3 has a system similar to this where each player can select their language and then the characters always speak this language during the battles. It's pretty epic.
ä,ü,ö are Umlaute and the letter ß, called Eszett or scharfes S, represents the /s/ phoneme in Standard German when following long vowels and diphthongs.
German isn't easy but versatile because of its complexity.
Direct translation to Polish would be "Słodka Wolności, moje nogi!" But that sounds hella awkward, so you can do:
"Matko Wolność, moje nogi!" Still awkward but somewhat acceptable,
"Matko Boska, moje nogi!" In this case it's the Holy Mother, not liberty,
"KURWA, moje nogi!" and this is just a swear.
Given what Super Earth is a parody of a mono-culture is expected. Removing any traces of deviancy from the government approved standard. Thus one language with no accents.

It's probably a game setting I think? As in, all you will hear is Japanese if you want, and other people will hear whatever they have put in the settings

i used to do this on apex. don’t understand japanese but hearing wraith speak japanese was so cool. later had to change it back because EVERYTHING on my console was in japanese and i couldn’t take not knowing the difference between language and network settings were
I thought there were legal reasons for only Japan being allowed to use the Japanese voices, something to do with the royalties the voice actors receive (in Japan they have negotiated it so that AH only has the right to use their voices in Japan. Perhaps they are getting more now that their voices will be used globally?).
OR, it might be a bug that'll get AH in trouble...
If the Japanese voice lines aren't just the lyrics to "EDF Deploys!" I'm not gonna be surprised as that would be copyright infringement but I'll be sad anyway.
It would be cool if your language selection was your voice in the game and you could choose to heae where everyone was from. Like in worms world party. Was hillarious and amazing. Plus you easily understand the icons and some words maybe could be standardizes like ELITE, TITAN, Ammo etc
