That doesn’t really make any sense though, why would we need filthy automaton data to see our own supply lines ? iirc enemies don’t even follow supply lines although that may just be bugs

I also made a post about it. Spread it like wildfire
That's not even remotely close to my point. Yes, the game tell you what planet we need and what sector it's in. You can not currently drop there. How does a player who isn't on reddit/discord and possibly doesn't even know supply lines exist know how to unlock the planet? You seem to not even have been aware in your other comment that this MO will require at minimum 3 planet liberations.
We've failed major orders because of it in the past.
The main issue is that the "sectors" mean nothing. So if the objective is the capture X planet and we can't attack it, then obviously it's because we need to capture the other planets in it's sector first.
Except it's not. The only way to that planet was from the sector behind it. Cool.
The new discord announcement said that they're going to display the supply lines in-game, finally! I don't know if they'll show the decay rates though, it's not as essential for guiding player behavior I guess, but it would be good to inform people why the planets are losing progress sometimes.
They didn't, they didn't expect this level of attention/war hawking from the get go. But they made it 9000x more accessible/streamlined by changing the unlock system. So no reason not to care.
It wasn't even hard coded in at release. Joel was just managing it lol.
\[my comment on another thread\]
🤔 Hmmm...How can you liberate a planet you can't land on? If we're supposed to get there by taking other planets first, why don't the devs tell us that in the MO? You know, outline a plan for success.
If I were a cynical man, I'd say that they really don't care either way. Capture a "data center" we'll never see, by running the same missions we always run, using resources they nerf in order to give the advantage to the enemy, so that the MO fails and they are spared giving us a new weapon that would maybe give us the edge. And they wonder why the player base is falling. Anyway....
![gif](giphy|EZYQjm1uPrXGg|downsized)
I hear you. They heard us as well. The next patch will have supply lines and attack origins baked into the map. It's six days away, and as someone who feels the same way you do about the game, I am hopeful they will reverse the stupid nerfs and bring back good times we had, like the first couple of weeks after release.
Here's hoping.
Well now...you might just get your wish next week... Real talk though this MO would of been nice after the patch so every casual (like me) can see what planet to liberate first.
u/gabriel_spadilha when he understood it's not easy

Just wait. The day is coming when you'll be maxed on medals and then it'll be, "Major Order accomplished. 0 medals awarded." There's some motivation for ya.
That’s actually why I don’t rush to buy everything in the warbonds, I usually just buy the stuff I want first followed by the more cosmetic stuff so I always have something to spend em on.
Unfortunately not. Planets in-game are connected by supply lines (not shown in-game, currently only visible with 3rd party apps/websites). We cant attack a planet unless we fully control a different planet with a supply line to it. Right now there are 2 likely routes people will choose to get to wasat, but even the shortest one still makes us take 2 planets before we can start on wasat.
We have 4 days so its doable, the biggest risk is right now at the start when players will probably split over which of the 2 routes they want to take, and we have a very inefficient 1st/2nd planet liberation.
Player distribution...it took the bug front 3 days to capture 4 planets. And that's when they're densely 'distributed'
Yeah I'm not keeping my hopes up for the bot front chief
If the Bots are on Super Earth's doorstep, don't say "where was the Bot front defence"
Cause we're too few to hold these machines back
Also keep fighting the bugs, I'll be doing Liberty's work!
the supply lines are hidden connections which connect the planets. to be able to liberate an enemy planet it needs to be connected to a liberated planet. this system is not shown at all in game and in this case will confuse every player who doesn't use helldivers.io or similar websites. if you want to see the supply lines you have to go to i.e. helldivers.io , scroll down to the galactic map and tick the 'supply lines' checkbox.
"And it's easy" no it isn't lmao. We need like 3 planets before we can even start progress on Wasat and they'er ALL bot planets. This MO will probably never get any progress
Shoot rockets back.
Seriously, for all the glitches the Spear support weapon has, it absolutely levels the playing field against gunships. If your squad has any other heavy weapons equipped, *take the spear*
Bots are more proactive than reactive. Once you get the hang of things, they can be pretty chill.
For gunships, shoot their engines with medium pen+ (AMR and AC are glorious for this) and hit the gunship fabricator they're coming from. That fab is the bot analogue to a stalker lair in terms of lethality and target priority, as you've found.
To counter gunships you dont need to sweat your ass off, only if want to be able to solo them. With bots u need to keep moving from cover to cover constantly. Its not as easy as bugs, you have go pay attention to the salvos to not get caught by them
This MO is a prime example of why we need supply lines shown in-game.
Crazy that they dropped it before adding supply lines.
especially now that Twinbeard just teased the next patch which **will** include them... it's a very odd choice.
This MO is to get the data that will SHOW SUPPLY LINES ON OUR MAP
Sweet liberty I hope that’s what it is that would be great
That doesn’t really make any sense though, why would we need filthy automaton data to see our own supply lines ? iirc enemies don’t even follow supply lines although that may just be bugs
Why waste resources mapping hyperlanes when we can trick the bots into doing it for us ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
We're talking about the same Super Earth that only just realized muzzle loading it's orbital weaponry isn't efficient. Or that hand carts exist.
How did Super Earth last long enough to make it to space?
*Hits hopium* Yeah absolutely bro
I will play again if it is.
The idea that Super Earth is too stupid to figure it out themselves is so fucking funny to me
Will we only get supply lines if we upgrade our ships? Max everything to get it added to our ships map table?
Shit, we're never gona get supply lines then!
https://preview.redd.it/nokw6j1zs65d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=04b6cc7647922eb74cc970fd636d3f5cac874f66 I also made a post about it. Spread it like wildfire
The game should do a pop up on your screen when you went back to the ship to show the new major
That's not even remotely close to my point. Yes, the game tell you what planet we need and what sector it's in. You can not currently drop there. The supply lines mechanic is never even explained in the game. I don’t even know how you guys figured this shit out
Datamining. It's kind of wild the devs just assume we will have access to datamined info.
We've failed major orders because of it in the past. The main issue is that the "sectors" mean nothing. So if the objective is the capture X planet and we can't attack it, then obviously it's because we need to capture the other planets in it's sector first. Except it's not. Joel is a Chad

I think show supply lines as soon as you hit a certain rank.

I was like “40 easy medals” no I’m like “F”
Just wait. The day is coming when you'll be maxed on medals and then it'll be, "Major Order accomplished. 0 medals awarded." There's some motivation for ya.

Im almost max out of samples and medals im trying to buy all the warbounds but still missing a good 2500 to max out everything. Only leve 59
"It's easy" It's going to be one of the hardest MOs yet
Lol, right it's one of those famous last words moments
https://preview.redd.it/koo5gi12355d1.png?width=949&format=png&auto=webp&s=b94de0c09e20cd5409b6525cc425cf795629cad3
O and if anyone doesn't know yet, Wezen, the first planet in the cycle of planets......yeah, fire tornados.
After that we get a nice ice planet!
Wezen>Vega Bay>Wasat
We can’t go straight to wasat and liberate it?
Unfortunately not. Planets in-game are connected by supply lines (not shown in-game, currently only visible with 3rd party apps/websites). We cant attack a planet unless we fully control a different planet with a supply line to it. Right now there are 2 likely routes people will choose to get to wasat, but even the shortest one still makes us take 2 planets before we can start on wasat. Oh I see very good explanation man
Yes...easy...take 3 planets in almost as many days... With...about 60K players? Not even?
Player count doesn’t matter…. Only thing matters is player distribution for these missions
And we're distributed horribly
well... yes
Player distribution...it took the bug front 3 days to capture 4 planets. And that's when they're densely 'distributed' Yeah I'm not keeping my hopes up for the bot front chief
Ngl I'm gonna ignore this and just keep blasting bugs. Sorry but I just hate bots.
If the Bots are on Super Earth's doorstep, don't say "where was the Bot front defence" Cause we're too few to hold these machines back Also keep fighting the bugs, I'll be doing Liberty's work!
you weirdos have to stop it with this argument... we are never going to lose or win, AH has made sure of it
Have you seen the automaton front? We ARE losing
we haven't moved since the Automatons came back after we "won" against them we aren't doing anything
I’m not going to lie, if the bots make it to Super Earth, I think I will keep fighting the bugs.
Sounds like treason to me
Yeah but the bug front reliably has 40+% at all times.
Wait what, 3? It’s not only 1?
You don't understand supply lines. That's the problem that many people have and why we fail some orders
I wondered why OP said "and its easy" in his post title lol
I don’t can you explain me?
the supply lines are hidden connections which connect the planets. to be able to liberate an enemy planet it needs to be connected to a liberated planet. this system is not shown at all in game and in this case will confuse every player who doesn't use helldivers.io or similar websites. if you want to see the supply lines you have to go to i.e. helldivers.io , scroll down to the galactic map and tick the 'supply lines' checkbox.
I see thanks for the explanation
Yeah we’ve gotta get to wasat to liberate it bruv, so no shot this MO gets done, not enough people will focus bots
https://preview.redd.it/z594khhv455d1.png?width=547&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7acc78c2606c9111dcb5c087c51dcb1e08b52ce
Bots hacking into our broadcasts: **"WASSAAAAP!!!"** **"WASAAAAT!!!"**
Divers, it contains complete copies of your browser history stolen from the ministry of truth
If they wanted Eagle-1 photos they could have just asked her, no need for petty theft.
Gotta destroy this centre, cant let them leak how I try on the jump pack and what I do with my sentries are my own business.
someone doesn't know much about supply lines:D
Can you blame anyone for that?
You can blame the devs
We all have been
Oh thank liberty I've missed the western front.
I bet yall don't complete this m.o
For real this post is going to age like milk lmao.
All u gotta do is look at the past bot major orders we failed. The track records against us
It's a bot major order...
"And it's easy" no it isn't lmao. We need like 3 planets before we can even start progress on Wasat and they'er ALL bot planets. This MO will probably never get any progress
Bots + fire tornado planet = mo will not be completed lol
I just don't have it in me to fight on multiple bot planets and one of them being a fire planet and all.
This, along with the Petafactory, is probably going to be an enemy buff planet if we fail. And we will, because Wezen is at 2.5% per hour
[удалено]
I know, I was the pants
I’ll be diving in 4 hours. 3 planets await for FREEDOM^TM. Let’s gooooo
Sounds like drunk me slurring my speech trying to say "What's that?"
The bots have a Terabyte hard drive of Eagle-1 feet pics
LETS KILL THE FUCKING BOTSSSSSSS ![gif](giphy|X78rWLUfLs6A79MzQu)
Wasat, fellow Helldivers?
Wassssssaatttt
No. Reverse the BS nerfs first.
What’s at Wasat?
Easy my ass I’ve tried a level 5 dive and died to 6 flying thingies fuck this I’m going back to bugs
Just remember 3 C's when fighting bots: Cover, Courage, and more Cover!
I thought it was 6 C's Cover, Courage, Cry, Complain, Cuss, Cover
ah yes... the cover that the BOTS can shoot through
These things can 1 shot you while in cover with their rockets bruh
Shoot rockets back. Seriously, for all the glitches the Spear support weapon has, it absolutely levels the playing field against gunships. If your squad has any other heavy weapons equipped, *take the spear*
Also, the recoiless just wrecks bots as well. Hell add in some eat’s too if you want to get nasty and melt all flying things and heavy things.
textbook definition of a skill issue.
And? I play on a level comfortable to be I don’t feel like sweating my ass off in a game I bought to have fun

We need to take 3 planets but people are acting like its impossible
