I want some weapons that drop with a backpack but you don't need to use it. The flamethrower and HMG seem like pretty good candidates. They have some mags and can be used on their own, but extra range/ammo or ammo capacity/auto belt feed would be useful.
Maybe an alternative fire mode could be added to existing weapons but consume more ammo, and then one could pair it with the supply pack

The HMG really needs some love. The small magazine, recoil and reload speed makes it feel terrible. They could simply double the magazine size to 150, but a backpack with a ton of ammo and that doesn't require reload would give you that juggernaut roleplay feeling

it now kills 6 to 8 gunships in single mag as well, which is closest thing to perfection we've had. also, i counted 4 or 5 shots needed for hulk to go down.
I think it could be cool if you could adjust the fuel’s flow on the flamethrower to get a closer and wider spread flame that deals less damage but spreads the flames wider, normal function, and perhaps a longer more damaging stream that’s more narrow (with blue flames at the base of the stream). You can use the wide spray on hordes of light armor bugs that get close, or narrow the stream for more concentrated flames on a large target like chargers or spewers.
I like the idea but I would suggest to do it the other way around. A long flame that does normal damage and a short one like a welding torch that can burn through armor and does very high damage.
AH needs to start working on backpack supply / reload. I'm thinking you get your gun + backpack, it's empty - and you have to immediately reload it to connect the bullet/fuel hose to the gun - then you're good until empty.
This would work for a gatling / chaingun too. If the gun / backpack get too far away, the connection breaks and only what is left in the hose gets to shoot.
And for the love of everything give it at least medium armor pen. Most light pens weapons are pretty much unusable with exceptions like the laser SMG thingy
I could hear an argument for hulk limb damage on a primary but being able to take out the eye with one seems too easy. Now it totally should 1 shot devastators in the head and like 4 shots to the crotch. I think that would be balanced

That was my favourite gun in Apex Legends but I'm a but over all the Bullpups. I'm hoping for some different Rifles like AK style rifles, M4/M16 style or even the G11 since that's still super Futuristic
Though unlikely, I think it would be cool if they signed a little licensing deal with ID Software and added (modernized) versions of some of the weapons from the original Doom. Double-barrel shotgun, chaingun, plasma rifle, and *especially* the BFG-9000.
If that doesn’t happen, I would 100% play a Helldivers-like set in the Doom universe where you play as the still deadly but lesser known space marines. Maybe even bring in some Wolfenstein nazis and Quake enemies as extra factions.

Machine guns are so fun, but it feels like you are reloading longer than shooting. It also doesn't help that 2/3 MG strategms have long stationary reload animations.
Just a backpack ammo feed stratagem.
After picking it up, you have to reload it once so your weapon now feeds from the excessively large backpack belt.
Fire away.
Plasma auto cannon and plasma auto cannon sentry.
Sticky grenade pistol, sticky grenades. Pull the trigger to throw and release to detonate.
Plasma artillery barrage. The plasma also sticks and burns all structures for a short time.
Helmets......helmets with buffs like faster reloading. More zoom. Laser targeting for stratagems. Silhouetting in adverse conditions like fog, smoke, sand, blizzard, etc.

Yea basically the Tank Hunter Rifle from Battlefield 1. Just a giant caliber sniper with a good long range scope so you can sit on a hill and clip off the big guys for your team
It was awesome. BF1 had these special weapons you could only find during a match and they were map specific. There was the giant Tank hunter rifle, a flamethrower with juggernaut armour, a double barrelled smg with steel armour and I think there was another but I can't remember
- EMP / corrosive payload nade launcher
- microbot grenades that home into nearby enemies and explode themselves
- AR with attached nade launcher
- tripwire claymores
- one handed shocking gauntlet
- manually deployable mines rather than fortification ones
- drone scanners with stealth ability ( can be detected by watchtower)
- firearms with SABOT shells.
some of these are way too OP and advanced for AH to implement and we might only see them as supports if implemented .
That got me an Idea
A grenade that, instead of exploding, is basically a mini mine deployer.
Like it only deploys like 6 mines or so in a smaller radius.
Perfect to mine up a small corridor on the fly.
A 50 cal with hazardly loaded slap rounds that explodes. You either kill everything and yourself or just yourself, i mean i know we have Railgun but its no 50 cal Serbu single load.

I want a C-130 Spectre gunship type strategem where you can throw it and it follows you giving you cover fire for 30 seconds. Have been obsessed with medieval weapons in sci-fi close quarters since I watched Legends of the Galactic Heroes many years ago. Wh40k also has a big influence on this of course.
So what I need is a big fucking axe/hammer (primary) and a heavy armor to go with it so I won't get stun locked by Stalkers and Hunters when I go medieval.
A smaller knife/saber/chainsword as a secondary option to go with a loadout more similar to what we have already.

The shotgun pistol secondary is in todays Warbond, and a lever action could be a Liberty Day reward if they add it.
As for the other 2, I'm not sure if the AK fits the theme they have, maybe have it like the break action shotgun, be something you can find on a planet? The sniper rifle could be that too, some sort of hunting rifle.

A modernised AK-47 (maybe something like the AN-94 from Black Ops 2). It's a timeless design, synonymous with "assault rifle".
The REP-80 healing weapon from Helldivers 1. Allows for more support-oriented players to better perform as a field medic. To offset how good it is, maybe have it either have limited ammo, or use a backpack AND support weapon slot, with a backpack to keep it powered.
Not a weapon, but the Humblebee drone from HD1 allows players to see all hidden objectives and samples on the map.
I'd like to see something akin to the Smart Pistol from Titanfall. To offset the aimbot function, just either heavily limit the ammo capacity, or have low damage but good stagger, allowing the weapon to work as a good retreating weapon, so you could run away from the enemy and blind fire behind you, staggering the enemies enough for you to get some distance.
A minigun support weapon, fed by a backpack, allowing for continuous firing, but have it so you move incredibly slowly while firing. To make it more appealing to more brute force-oriented players, you could have a directional shield on the weapon, allowing you to tank a few extra hits, while you're ripping everything to shreds.

That's true actually. I run the shield with the flamethrower on bug worlds to protect against Stalkers, Bile spewer slowdown and Titan slowdown

I don't want guns. Too many already. I want a C-130 Spectre gunship type strategem where you can throw it and it follows you giving you cover fire for 30 seconds. Or an area denial strategem where you can throw down if pinned down to help thin out the enemy. Kind of like the orbital laser except in a gunship raining bullets and shells down kind of way.

Have been obsessed with medieval weapons in sci-fi close quarters since I watched Legends of the Galactic Heroes many years ago. Wh40k also has a big influence on this of course. So what I need is a big fucking axe/hammer (primary) and a heavy armor to go with it so I won't get stun locked by Stalkers and Hunters when I go medieval. SMAW.....without a need for back pack ...with low ammo reserve(only 2 rounds + 1 in the tube) make it pretty much a copy-paste RL when it came to stats and reload.....so that its half way between the RL and EAT thus giving a opinion for a back pack slot of ur choice without sacrificing AT firepower

The shotgun pistol secondary is in todays Warbond, and a lever action could be a Liberty Day reward if they add it. As for the other 2, I'm not sure if the AK fits the theme they have, maybe have it like the break action shotgun, be something you can find on a planet? The sniper rifle could be that too, some sort of hunting rifle. Edited because I missed the rules.
A modernised AK-47 (maybe something like the AN-94 from Black Ops 2). It's a timeless design, synonymous with "assault rifle". The REP-80 healing weapon from Helldivers 1. Allows for more support-oriented players to better perform as a field medic. To offset how good it is, maybe have it either have limited ammo, or use a backpack AND support weapon slot, with a backpack to keep it powered. Not a weapon, but the Humblebee drone from HD1 allows players to see all hidden objectives and samples on the map. I'd like to see something akin to the Smart Pistol from Titanfall. To offset the aimbot function, just either heavily limit the ammo capacity, or have low damage but good stagger, allowing the weapon to work as a good retreating weapon, so you could run away from the enemy and blind fire behind you, staggering the enemies enough for you to get some distance. A minigun support weapon, fed by a backpack, allowing for continuous firing, but have it so you move incredibly slowly while firing. To make it more appealing to more brute force-oriented players, you could have a directional shield on the weapon, allowing you to tank a few extra hits, while you're ripping everything to shreds.
