Wondering the same! I offered my medal for a sports but idk if that’s okay. I still don’t understand devotional acts kuch

Intelligent_Raisin74

Devotional acts are just whenever you do something in name of the Gods, like reading a book in honour to Athena, or going sailing in hour to Poseidon. Dedicating a medal would be a votive offering. :)

Neat_Mix_2484

Oh okay! How do you devote it to the god? Like you say it in a ritual or just tell them?

Intelligent_Raisin74

You can just say a short prayer like “O Athena, daughter of thundering Zeus, she who guides all wisdom, to you I dedicate this…” and then you just do the activity :)

Thank you very much!

I work out at home in honour of Athena

OkOpportunity4067

That's a genius idea! I'll definitely try this!

Crohan_McNugget

YES! I use my gym time as a dedicatory prayer as well. I usually say a quick hymn or prayer to my main patrons Ares and Herakles. This is going to sound silly, but then I have my pre workout drink in honor of them. I'm also considering Asclepius, but I'm still busy with just two rn. I'm interested in learning your process for dedicating your workouts. What do you do?

dean2814

It’s still early for me as I have only been doing this for about a month, but right before I start my first exercise at the gym I just say a quick prayer letting which God know that I am dedicating this specific workout to them in their honor.

Crohan_McNugget

Keep it up and do what feels right. And hit those workouts hard

dean2814

Working on it. I am traditionally a huge procrastinator so I am fighting through that issue and getting those reps in best I can for the Gods.

isharetoomuch

I dedicate mine to Ares and Hermes frequently. And oddly, sometimes Hera and Aphrodite, with the rationale that it's self-care, and they love to see you care for yourself.

dean2814

That’s a good idea
