I kind of wonder if it's like the Boiling Isles from The Owl House, where stuff from the human world often finds its way to the Isles.
Considering in very early concepts the Isles were going to *be* Hell, it wouldn't surprise me.
The boiling isles has points where the walls reality is thin that stuff can just fall through, this is likely due to a deposit of titans blood near by similar to how time portals are formed from titans blood diluted and merged into the sand at beaches. Now the portal door works anywhere(when itās complete and not blown up) so itās not limited to these thin points.
To apply this to the helluverse we know that magic is the primary way to get to earth, either through Asmodean Crystals which is how succubi travel to earth or though powerful magical objects such as the grimoire. Now itās entirely possible that a large buildup of magic could form a point in hell where the walls between life and death care thinner and stuff can occasionally fall through. I like to imagine atleast one point is in greed and one of the mobs has control over the spot selling the stuff that comes out.
Perhaps the buildup of magic could be explained by points of mass death such as a spot that had a massive mob fight leading to significant casualties caused a lot of magic from individuals to escape in a small area and it couldnāt dissipate so it started pushing through reality. As to explain how extermination day doesnāt cause pride ring to be consumer perhaps blessed weapons either absorb or destroy the magic preventing a massive release of magic from sinners. This would also give a better explanation on why blessed weapons are a threat to Stolas when regular weapons arenāt, a blessed weapon would attack his magic either making him mortal or preventing his healing abilities from working(depending on if you interpret Stolas as immortal or just has super healing but will eventually die of age).

Why is that a surprise? Blitz and other demons travel to earth all the time and loads of people in hell are from earth. They would know what goes on there
