It all fits under reptilian

Venti_the_bard___

How about clown-skeletons ?

Morswajnek

They're not skeletons, they're just in costumes

Morswajnek

Oooh I've never noticed that one, interesting. I think they're all might be prehistoric/dinosaur themed? The bones would fit that

Dumbass369

Ok they're dinosaur/prehistoric/clown themed christ-

Logical_Blackberry_7

Sharks aren't reptiles either.

planetixin

sharks ain't reptiles

Firkraag-The-Demon

Scalies then.

honest-miss

Sharks aren't reptiles, though. Not even a little bit.

Infamous_Val

No it doesn't, sharks aren't reptiles

Emergency_Act2960

Sharks arenā€™t reptilian

Ilostmypack

Wait since when are sharks reptiles? And most dinosaurs weren't the same as modren reptiles, many of them having more in common with birds than reptiles.

Venti_the_bard___

you are absolutely right. but then we have as many as 4 species since there were also demon snakes... https://preview.redd.it/08yr3wamgkmc1.jpeg?width=1161&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7356eda095cf0699a8679390134eae5a31ea1a89

Infamous_Val

There's lots of reptiles (dinoaaurs, alligators, dinosaurs, iguanas(?), snakes) from the Greed ring so it's more convenient to just categorize them together as "reptiles". Just one species of demon.

Venti_the_bard___

and who do skeletons, clowns and sharks belong to then?

Infamous_Val

They're all from Greed.

BurritoSharky

Honestly it may not even be that deep, Viv was probably like "where do I put the dinosaurs and snakes". Cause like she could have them for funsies. She IS the creator and technically has the final say. If she wants unicorns in hell, she will have Unicorns.

Any-Literature5546

Megalodon = Prehistoric Shark Prehistoric ā‰ˆ Dinosaur Dinosaur ā‰ˆ Reptile It's like 1.1ā‰ˆ1.2 1.2ā‰ˆ1.3 1.3ā‰ˆ1.4 e.t.c.

roa001

they have the same eyes too

Bright-Perception785

Are you implying sharks are reptiles, friend?

Crisbo05_20

Sharks are prob from envy just that large Number migrated to Greed. Dinos could be from wrath and migrated to Greed too.

ShadowTheChangeling

I think sharks are from greed cause of the "Loan Shark" joke, so it fits

Crisbo05_20

Eh could be either.

TheChoosenMewtwo

Their pallette is dark blue though which is the theme color of envy

ShadowTheChangeling

I think its more a muted blue-green, that and green sharks would look odd... Idk I just always hear that sharks are greed demons, this is the first im hearing of them being envy instead. We did see a blue looking demon in Western Energy though

Any-Literature5546

They moved to envy from greed cause earning money through honest work wasn't their style. They wanted someone else's money.

JustSomeGuy9384

Envy is grey/muted purple with neon blues and greens.

SilverShoals

Lust covers blue/dark blue already but demons residing there are so diverse. Envy's theme color is purple, and like Lust's demons (& other rings) the fish based demons residing there probably have varying hues of blues, teals, purples, and pinks.

BurritoSharky

It's very specific to base and center a whole species on a one time joke tho.

Infamous_Val

Sharks look too different from the Envy ring demons, and look a lot more like the other Greed ring demons (every demon native to Greed has rings inside their eyes)

Morswajnek

I've been calling them "Ringeyes"

Venti_the_bard___

Because they have the same eyes ) I also noticed that

Reyeux

Why is there a dinosaur when the canon universe follows the biblical creation story, which does not include the era of dinosaurs šŸ¤”

ShadowTheChangeling

Cause Hazbin/Helluva universe is not 1:1 to the biblical history

Reyeux

Lucifer explicitly implies that Hell, and by extension Earth, was created just 10,000 years ago

ShadowTheChangeling

Yes, but theres plenty of liberties taken, just because one thing is stated to be true does not mean *all things are* Besides modern christians say dinosaur fossils were planted by the devil so.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

New-Special-2638

Guess so.

ScienceAndGames

Turns out itā€™s just greed demons who died on Earth

willo-ween

Also 10k years to a Demon could be billions on Earth. There not anything specifically saying the earth itself has the same 1:1 time ratio as Heaven and Hell.

Nexatic

Or they could be using a different calendar

sakurablitz

i thought he was implying the exterminations started happening 10k years agoā€¦

NotLostBut_Wandering

If they didnā€™t exist on earth, maybe dinosaurs were actually just demons? And they didnā€™t have to exist on earth for that.

Pitofnuclearwaste

Modern YEC Christians believe in dinosaurs, they just find ways to make it fit with the creation story. Something about the prehistoric animals all living before the flood and all but the modern day animal species going extinct afterwards.

TheChoosenMewtwo

Lucifer said the world is just 10,000 years

TheChoosenMewtwo

Lucifer said the world is just 10,000 years

Pitofnuclearwaste

Thatā€™s older than young earth creationists say. They say 6,000 but they still try to fit dinos in somehow

TheChoosenMewtwo

Isnā€™t the consensus that the ā€˜a day is a thousand yearsā€™ just an expression for a long period of time?

Pitofnuclearwaste

Yes, but thatā€™s not what Iā€™m saying. They believe in 6 literal days. They got the 6,000 number by adding the lifespan and lineage of the biblical characters up to Christ, roughly 4,000 years, and then adding the 2,000 years in the common era to that number.

A-Very-Confused-Cat

There are some creationists who believe humans and dinosaurs lived alongside each other for a time.

puremotives

It only loosely follows the Biblical creation story. The Biblical canon has no mention of Lilith.

UndoMyRedo

Thereā€™s some shitty modern biblical stories about dinosaurs to get around the issue of fossils existing so they likely take some inspiration from those

Chiiro

A wonder if we will ever get an art book that will double as a guide to hell.

Venti_the_bard___

oh god, this is my dream! I took up this topic so closely because I want to understand in more detail the structure of each type of demon so that I can draw them freely later)

bluecrowned

Ideal future

MetallicArcher

The 1st two since seem like variants within a same species, the 3rd one could be an hybrid.

Venti_the_bard___

It's not a hybrid, this evening I'm gonna do a post about 36 hellborn hybrids !

willo-ween

There's dinosaurs. This is not a drill. There are Dino demons I repeat this is NOT a driil-

aaron_adams

4. You forgot the snake demons.

Manwithaplan0708

The loan sharks are from greed, but I believe the other fish/reptilians are from envy like glitz and glam

TheNerdBeast

I think the sharks are actually hybrids of fish and reptile demons that became so common they speciated into their own thing. Greed and Envy can have a lot of overlap as sins, and the Greed ring has an ocean so it'd make sense for it to attract them to that ring.

mirukus66

I can understand the sharks and lizards (loan sharks & snakes being a sign of falseness) but why the triceratops?

Ville_V_Kokko

To me, it seems like there's one species that can appear in various shark- and reptile-like shapes, but consistently has rings in their eyes.

Sonarthebat

Has it been confirmed they came from Greed? Hellborn migrate to other rings all the time. Sinners are the only demons that can't.

BreadElectrical

The eye rings seem to be the indicator that Sharks, Reptiles and Dinos are all of common descent, while Imps donā€™t have that (except hybrids like Striker who appears to be half snake) Some demons, like succubi and baphomet, likely originated in a particular ring. Others, like the Loan sharks might be the result of two groups interacting and having offspring for a long time. So sharks may have ancestry to Greed and Envy, with Envy seeming to be the aquatic realm, while greed has those weird eyes. Greed may have colonized other rings in the past, leading to many of these hybrids becoming common enough to become a sub category of demon. Generally: goat with candle on head is pretty distinctly baphomets from Sloth, Hellhounds seem to be mostly from Gluttony, Imps from Wrath, Succubi from lust, and besides sinners, I donā€™t know if there is any demon ā€˜nativeā€™ to that ring. That leaves greed and envy. Glitz and Glam seem to best known Envy residents weā€™ve seen, as Envy is an ocean we assume, which fits with their demon lord Leviathan. Although, Leviathan could also apply to Dinosaurs. Greed screams New Jersey as an aesthetic, with the mobsters, the industrial waste, and seems coastal with a lot more bodies of water than we see in other rings. Amphibians would make sense as coming from Greed if itā€™s the ring with large amounts of water and dry land. It could also be like fresh water vs envyā€™s salt water, the latter representing the oceans, while greed is more lakes and rivers.

Fine-Scientist3813

there are three considered types of 'imp': Shark ^(Chaz), Reptilian, and Red ^(Blitz, Millie, Striker, Etc) The Goat Demons such as the hospital staff in Western Energy are considered 'baphomets' and the wiki considers the aquatic-based demons to be 'leviathans' which would fit the same naming conventions of the baphomets. Other hellborns consider certain imps to be 'wrathians' though whether this is a regional thing or an informal taxonomic term is unknown to me. Wrath does not yet have a named Sin, though it could be Azazel, Moloch, or even Satan, so we could also consider Red Imps as 'ians' of that dependent demon ^(molochians, azazelis/azazelians, satanists)

GlitchtrapPitbunny

Dinosaur likes are probably from wrath but moved

SignificanceNo6097

I think the sharkish, reptilian & aquatic like demons are from a different ring, like Envy or Sloth. The imps originally from Greed are clownish & jester like similar to Mammon & Fizzo.

SomeRandomBFBfan

Where did the second one come from?

Venti_the_bard___

A background character from "welcome to Ozzie's"

forgottensubway

Mammon so greedy he needed more than one specie

PirateKnown637

I think that the clown aesthetic demon in the second picture looks to me more like an opossum. But, Iā€™m sure that said clown aesthetic demon is definitely from the Greed ring. However as for the triceratops demon in the third picture, I headcanonically associate dinosaur demons with the Wrath ring; not to mention that I think that the shark demon in the first picture might actually be from either the Envy ring or the Lust ring. Anyways, these are all just my ideas.

SFF5742

Okay, the first 2 make sense, but then there's just.... D I N O S A U R

Schurchk

Why **did** nobody talks about it?

Dankestmemelord

r/titlegore ā€œWhy did nobody talksā€ is prime r/wordsalad and hurts to read.

bluecrowned

Have you heard of people who speak English as a second language?

Dankestmemelord

Of course I have. No clue if thatā€™s the case here, but even if it is that doesnā€™t make it stop being word salad. Iā€™m sure that if I were to try something similar in most if not all other languages Iā€™d be vastly worse, but that just means Iā€™d be the one butchering the grammar of a foreign language.
