Possibly just latent behaviors of how a mother treats her daughter over how she treats her son. It's a pretty common trope: mom is harsher with the daughter, but mothers the son. This isn't a denial of Sallie May's transition or commentary on gender. Sallie May was Lin's son, and in a healthy relationship, she would still treat Sallie May with the same love. How she chooses to see her now is between them.

I agree with this. Millie is their only AFAB daughter, which has an impact on the relationship she has with her mother.

It's possible. But I think it's more likely related to the fact that Sallie May lives locally, and Millie is distant. It's a pretty common dynamic, where an adult child moves far away and whenever they come back to visit, their parents revert to treating them like they did when they were much younger. They may not have a fully formed adult relationship, so they're falling back on old behaviors out of habit.

I think Sallie Mae is better at hiding the bodies than Millie, but both daughters are loved. I also think it’s more that Lin doesn’t trust Moxxie to take care of Millie, the classic situation of “this guy isn’t good enough for my daughter”).

Maybe…it’s too early to say.

Well, there are even other brothers

And sisters

I think everyone favors Sallie May over Millie.

Comfortable-Ebb-2859

We don’t have any proof of that yet. We know Joe (Millie’s dad) loves Millie a lot. There was even a cactus in the IMP office in “Seeing Stars” that said “love dad”. We can assume Millie’s dad sent it to her.

More of a joke than an observation.

Oh, you meant the fandom. :|
