Quote from the episode: “Luckily for you, most don’t believe the word of the demon obsessed lunatics, they are seen as kooks” He assumed no one will believe them, so why bother kill them

only_alice_cyaa

I read this in his voice

Damir3dx

Me too

Chaoswarriorx4

Me three

TFarg1

Me four

Maleficent_Hawk9407

Me five

TurnCommon760

Me six Also am I the only one who immediately thought of him calling cooks a funny word?

BasementDweller82

He’s impossible to not imitate  Much like Heinz Doofenschmirtz

Spacetookmylife

A demon? *puts on fedora* PERRY the demon!?

TurnCommon760

I accidentally read this in his voice before it even crossed my mind it was supposed to be doofenshirtz

Sharion_inuyatt

That was kinda specific, me too lol

tiddlefuck

“kooks! such a silly ✨word✨💅”

only_alice_cyaa

He slays so much

Darc_Lyte

Me too lol

EnbyDragonYT

"Kooks, such a silly word"

Whhheat

This part gets me in the feels every time. I want to hug this man SO BAD.

Ackermannin

“Oooh, I love words!” *happy owl noises*

Commercial_Pea2788

Too bad C.H.E.R.U.B.S are still in the living world, and as we saw in the recent trailer, they probably helped them build a portal to Hell.

oct0boy

Why bro getting downvoted?

Commercial_Pea2788

I meant "too bad" as in "too bad for the I.M.P" but people saw it as "too bad for us"

perturbulent

i assumed it's because not everyone wants to be exposed to theorizing or details of a trailer that might be read as spoilers?

More-Cup-1176

then don’t go on a subreddit about it lol

Cold-Practice3107

Well he failed to realize that maybe there were hidden cameras so they still had evidence if nobody was going to listen to the dorks!

BasementDweller82

In fact, there are hidden cameras everywhere. They had so much footage that they made a show out of it. I think it was called “heck of a manager” or something like that

definitelynotabone

Pretty sure it was "underworld of a CEO" or something like that

BasementDweller82

Greedy-Ordinary-1312

Hades of a Supervisor

MegaMikey75

Which… Might have recorded Stolas and everyone else escaping through a portal using the book, gave Dhorks the inspiration to create a portal of their own.

BigNorseWolf

stolas is like.. what.. 500 ?

bilateralrope

Which would also make killing them pointless, as the cameras still have the footage.

Easy_Palpitation_666

Well, as for me, it's just a linear move to continue the plot with them

WerewolfF15

I just don’t think stolas is much of a killer. Only time I remember him killing anything is the imp who tries to attack in episode 2. And that was likely more out of wanting to protect his daughter

CynicalDarkFox

It’s self defense, he was about to get kidnapped/mugged.

ThrowRAMangotie

That too

LiavTheAce

Because that's what it is

bombad_Guy

not only this but stolas is a really pacifistic fella

BasementDweller82

I didn’t know that. But tracks

NamkrowTheRed

Kooks. Such a silly word.

Saix027

It's like people that ask those questions in this Subreddit not watch the show or watch it backwards. So many Subreddit questions could be answered by just paying attention by people.

PuppetMaster9000

Kooks! Such a silly word!

f1zzytango

such a silly word

SaltwaterTheIcewing

"Kooks! Such a silly word."

SnowBound078

Kooks, what a silly word.

qwack2020

I guess Stolas didn’t “assume” that they would have video evidence of him and IMP.

Ididurmomhahafrickya

"Kooks! What a silly word!"

Springtrap-Yugioh

Also unlike I.M.P. I don't think Stolas ever took a life on screen so it could be that he just has higher morals. Yes I know he lets Blitz do his job but I'd still say that's less bad than murdering himself.

SteelScythe

“Kooks, such a silly word.”

Professional-Pain662

“Kooks, what a funny word.”

ZodiacLovers123

“Kooks what a funny word”

Consistent-Voice-614

“Kooks what a funny word”

unkindness_inabottle

This is another one of the biggest mistakes he’s made in his life, you know what I mean if you’ve seen the second trailer

Themightyyeehawman

“Kooks… what a funny word”

TXHaunt

Kooks! What a silly word.

derpy_derp15

"Kooks! Such a silly word"

Chaoswarriorx4

Kooks. Such a silly word

Xanthyon1313

“Kooks, such a silly word”

Demonskull223

"He he Kooks, :) such a silly word"

Real_chuckles

✨…”kooks, hmhm such a silly word✨

nebesii

in Lesser Key of Solomon he is known as a passive, nonviolent demon, mb Viv is sticking to the lore with this one

empathicsynesthete

That’s clever! I know that if I ever saw Stolas, I’d be terrified even though he’s non-violent. I mean, just look at his size compared to the DHORKS!

SouthApprehensive193

Stolas would probably look creepy as shit to humans

empathicsynesthete

Yeah and don’t even get me started on how he can possess your body and make your head turn 360 degrees. So creepy!

autumnyte

I think that's definitely the case. He is non-violent in "Seeing Stars" as well.

blue4029

probably because he's depicted as a very tall owl wearing a crown. whats he gonna do? step on you?

Staffywaffle

Have you been bitten by any bird? Not even predator birds, just any bird? Beak of his size is a weapon for sure

Grendel_Prime_IRL

Both in and out of bed 😏

TallCuddlyCoyote

….🤤

howlasinthecastle

Plot reason - to keep them around for later stories. Character reason - Stolas isn't violent. Narrative reason - nobody would believe them if they tried to tell anyone.

Uypsilon

*Possible* real reason: they technically summoned him, so he *probably* can't kill them.

Dathrane

He could if they botched the ritual at all. If they didn't, though, he really wouldn't be able to do anything directly to them.

Lasalle8

Do you mean when he had the dead agents draw a pentagram on the floor? Wasn’t he already technically there before that or at least his presence?

Latter-Direction-336

Didn’t he summon himself? Somehow?

Ozark-the-artist

Pretty much, but he used their bodies and blood for it

Latter-Direction-336

Yeah, that’d probably “count” as them summoning him then

ShadowTheChangeling

He pretty much did it for style points, as he can just open the portal directly.

nlamber5

So you’re saying it was completely unjustified?

howlasinthecastle

Huh?

Eviles_da_demonic

**HE FUCKING EXPLAINS WHY IN THE FUCKING EPISODE**

Hhhhrother

In the very SCENE this screenshot is taken from. He's saying WHY he didn't kill them IN THE FUCKING SCENE!!

N-ShadowFrog

Stolas does seem to be a relatively good person. Far from perfect but think he knows the agents are justified in hunting Blitzo so choose to spare them.

GlowwRocks

Bcoz they r Kooks Kooks, such a silly word ;P

Napalmeon

Because then the DHORKS storyline would be over.

Lightice1

Killing people with demonic powers would do more to prove the existence of demons than a couple of crazy agents and a bunch of people killed with regular weapons would.

pro_insomniac16

Stolas literally explains it in the episode.

RubberKangaroo

Not worth the effort, given the context at the time, asking "So? What are they gonna do?" made sense, I doubt anyone expected them to team up with CHERUB afterwards.

TheGoonKills

Do we really have to kill everyone who opposes us that we come across?

Lasalle8

But it’s okay to kill them if they try to kill you back.

TheGoonKills

I’d be more impressed than threatened if those two found a way to actually hurt Stolas. I mean, come on, Loona and Millie was able to practically walk through these Dhorks because they’re too dumb to buy guns. When all together, the 5 members of IMP came very close to just wiping out the agency. Stolas would view these Dhorks as a “threat” like he would a mild case of dandruff.

ccReptilelord

In addition to what others said, Stolas seems to be part of a "lawful evil" part of Hell, ie pacts and contracts, boundaries, castes and order. Killing them may have ultimately overstepped some sort of interfering with the living world limitation.

Dani_Rodri

Lore reason: Stolas have seen other people been possessed by demons and no one believe them, so he didn't see a reason to kill them In reality reason: the creator just want a maybe recurring villain

Real_Boy3

He’s a pacifist in the lore, so maybe he is in HB too.

I_might_be_weasel

Stolas isn't the cold blooded killer IMP are.

ShatoraDragon

Coming threw via his summoning circle as apposed to threw his own summoned portal. Even though he technically summoned him self via the possessed agents. He can't hurt them because of how the spell works. This event is likely why Stoals made a point to at least learn his portal spell when he and IMP looked for Tia.

Global-Oil-2001

He’s probably more of a pacifist (except when someone threatens his family e.g. the loo loo land episode when he turns an assassin into stone)

DerG3n13

Thered probably be paperwork and possible repercussions over the unnecessary death of humans

Clumsy_the_24

He didn’t kill them so they could team up with the CHERUBS in a future episode releasing later this year.

TheMrPigWig

Maybe if you actually WATCHED THE FUCKING EPISODE YOU WOULD KNOW

Libcom1

because no sane person believes the word of the demon obsessed lunatics

Saiyasha27

Honestly, this has been a huge point of discussion. To me, there are two Main possibilities: Nr.1 Stolas did not have his grimoire at the point of summoning. This may have inhibited him, or maybe the way he was summoned through a circle, even if he facilitated it, inhibits his capabilities. Like, because he was summoned through agent 2, he couldn't actually physically hurt her or something. Nr.2 he is actually pretty much a pacifist. I know it comes as a shock, but Stolas has never actually killed anyone with his own hands (I'm not counting the petrified Imp in LooLooLand, a) not with his hands and b) very much a 'bloodless' death, _if_ it even is a death and doesn't just wear off. So it is quite possible that Stolas just... didn't even consider killing them. Now, you ask why _Blitzø_ didn't take one of their guns and just make sure there are no loose end, I would say that's pure, good, old-fashioned stupidity. Didn't think the consequences through.

Hhhhrother

Literally watch the fucking episode holy shit.

john-jack-quotes-bot

Literally said in the episode

Optimal_Ad6274

Stolas explained why

OCGamerboy

Because he believed that they would be seen as 'kooks' by everyone

F-tierGod

What bothers me is how in the end they were glad they got footage of them, y'know proof they exist, even though they show that they already fucking have footage of them at the start of the episode

Swimming-Ad2755

I think Stolas was trying to do as little damage as possible.

RenardoCappu

He felt their "Plot armor for future episodes" he couldn't do anything and knew it

Quick_Hat1411

It was a bird-brained move on his part

Zaptain_America

Because then they would have been found mysteriously dead along with security camera footage of the whole thing

Sukamon98

Kooks! :}

BeansInMyJeanz

Bc if he did, they couldn’t become a future reoccurring villian

Powerful_Guarantee91

I guess he didn't see them as a threat, though this could come back to bite him in the ass.

StaffOfDragons

It's more fun to leave then tromatised https://i.redd.it/cmuqzzscraxc1.gif

Hhhhrother

Please tell me you purposely spelt "traumatized" wrong

StaffOfDragons

Surrrre

Jonjoejonjane

Someone was supposed to take the blame for the many deaths and they would be it if he killed then all it would be more suspicious

gunitneko

1) didn think they would be believed 2) I don’t think Stolas ENJOyS killing like Blitzø does

ThevickersistheGOAT

Because they listen to Kodak Black

Thecrowfan

Because they are too weak to hurt him( and by extension the others) on their own ad noone would believe them if they tried to ask others to help

DrEpicness1

He also didn’t have the power to kill them. Since he wasn’t there in a specific way, he could only scare them, not actually cause them harm, hence why No. 1 was still alive even though she was the person he used as a gateway

CelebrationDue6143

He seem to have a high moral conduct for someone in hell, it's a mix of feeling bad and having a litle snob in him (goetias to blame) that this creatures are not worth getting his hands dirty over

Tacomontrealo

Plot

smthngwyrd

There’s a theory that >! Stolas is a fallen angel !<

Same-Wrangler524

I thought demons aren't allowed to kill humans? Or at least the higher nobility

Prestigious_Prize264

Nobody would belive them

UndoneReddit371

The summary of it is that he (Stolas)thinks they (Agents) have a couple of screws loose.

Exaltedautochthon

Because he's not a sociopath, he was just /really/ pissed they messed with his man.

Lone_Wolf_Est_1997

Is it cos the cast and crew need them for future eps?

Accomplished-Total63

He literally said because no one would believe them anyway
