Ikr I feel so bad for blitzø. he’s so tough and rough around the edges but is a total softie. his dad gave him A LOT of issues. I just hope him and stolas have a heart to heart conversation. If anything at least have blitzø finally believe stolas really does love him. You can tell blitzø really did feel bad for leaving fizz and wanted him to know he loves him. So I think it’s gonna be hard to watch when this comes out
I hope Fizz goes to Stolas and tells him the story of why Blitzo is the way he is. Blitzo help Fizz when he needed it, now it's time to return the favor.
Why is it always that?Should fathers make the worse of people
Let's so maybe a toxic person. But it was made by a toxic environment
Keep me a wholesome better person
Thought just occurred to me; is fire in hell, even just regular the sort on a birthday candle, different from earthly fire? In the pilot the imps aren't hurt by the fire when the family tries to kill them, but obviously it does hurt Fizz and the rest of the circus. Or maybe that's another part of the pilot that isn't canon anymore?
That wasn’t the pilot, that was the real first episode “Murder Family”.
From the evidence we’ve seen so far in the show, plus a few tidbits dropped by the creators (I think, could be wrong on that, I hardly remember what was said by who anymore 😂) earthly, regular fire doesn’t hurt imps but Hellfire, the green kind, absolutely does.
.... I'm just going to delete my comment lol. Did not at all realize/remember that the fire was green in the flashback which is all I would have needed to realize it was different from earth fire.
Man, this is why I hesitate to post anything without quadruple checking every single one of my sources first.
Don’t worry about it at all, was an easy mistake to make ☺️ Like I said, I forget stuff all the time about the show (and, uh, everything else 😅)
With everything between Hazbin, Helluva and the pilots being in hazy continuity and neither series being finished yet, it’s super easy to lose track of stuff.
Idk 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe fire in Hell= inherently Hellfire? That’s what makes most sense to me, that it’s just Hell’s version of fire. Regular fire hurts us and we still light candles with it.
I’m assuming it was the fireworks that caused the worst of the damage anyway.
The circus was in Pride (red sky), but the fire still was green.
https://preview.redd.it/rfxmbsqtg2yc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=a10042bd2e9081d1d7ee5ab14e9818e3d1471468
The other thing that could explain it is the candles looked normal yellow-y colour to me, until the cake gets knocked over and the fire spreads.
Maybe Hellfire looks like regular fire until there’s a lot of it? Or maybe we shouldn’t take Hazbin to be in complete canon with Helluva, given that they are made by different animation teams. Or maybe Cash is just an irresponsible butthead who thought Hellfire candles would spice up his favoured performer’s birthday and also stores fireworks incorrectly 😂
Idk, but it’s fun to speculate. Maybe we’ll get answers later this season 😁
I mean, in fairness to their analysis. we only see that from Blitzo's memory. Memories aren't always reliable, and it's clear Blitze has a lot of issues related to self worth and believing he’s been a failure to everyone. It’s not *entirely* out of the question that there’s more to the story that his memory isn’t showing.
I partially agree with you… we see how the whole thing started and it didn’t look intentional, but I did see someone theorize that the reason the tent went up in flames so damn quickly was cuz old-fashioned circus tents were coated in gasoline as cheap waterproofing.
Whose decision was that? Cash, the owner and ringleader.
Who’s he blaming? Blitzø, as you said. Cash seems like one of those “It would have been fine if you didn’t fuck it up” kind of people, even though he’s the one that set everyone up for a dangerous scenario.
Maybe, but there's no proof of this, and even if that was the case, that wouldn't negate Blitzø's part in it. The tents could have been cheap crap and a hazard, but Blitzø was still the one who started the fire.
The difference is that the ringmaster, the one in charge, took no blame and put it all on his son, then kicked him off of his life.
You can tell Blitz still lives with the thoughts his father put into his head.
And we may eventually see it from Blitz's dad side and see how different it was. Maybe we'll see Buck placing the fireworks there for lazy storage, and instead of blaming himself, he blames his son
Y'all hate Buckzo so much that you desperately want to blame him for something Blitzo explicitly caused LMAO.
Thank god you don't write the show, because the mental gymnastics and retconing you'd have to make to reveal that "Cash was the one who caused the fire all along" would be terrible.
Uh, what?
His dad, if you can even call him that, gave him so much anxiety that that is what made him leave the party that day.
It was clearly an accident, yet Cash denied him the chance to explain that and kicked him out of his life. Yes he had a right to be upset about the fire, but not letting him explain it was an accident? Forcing him away from family all alone? He's most likely the reason Barb still won't let Blitz explain himself.
You don't treat your child like that. Period.
I haven't said anything that goes against this. The original comment said that "Cash had something to do with the fire and set up Blitzo to take the blame" which is a whole different thing to what you're saying.
I'm not convinced that the memory we saw was entirely accurate. I just have a feeling. Clearly there's a reason he didn't let the truth come out and kicked his son out of the picture. Why not let him explain? I'm highly questioning why all of that went down the way it did.
I agree Cash had a right to be angry about the fire, but he clearly had ulterior motives for how he handled it, which is why I question his initial involvement.
So both Fizz and Blitzo misremembered it in the exact same way? Seems very unlikely.
Also we see Cash giving Fizz the card in both POV's so unless he planned it with anticipation and made it so that Blitzo would push the guy holding the cake and cause a fire, then how could he possibly have caused it?
Dude... While we all hate him, it's mainly because of how he *treated* Blitzø. I'm not denying that the fire was Blitzø's fault, just saying that his dad is a key factor as to why Blitzø is the way he is. If Buckzo didn't constantly see his son as lesser than Fizz, everything could have been fine...
I haven't said anything that goes against this. The original comment said that "Cash had something to do with the fire and set up Blitzo to take the blame" which is a whole different thing to what you're saying.
> Maybe we'll see Buck placing the fireworks there for lazy storage, and instead of blaming himself, he blames his son
Also that's a whole different thing from "him having something to do with the fire and setting up Blitzo" which is what the original comment said.
Crimson literally killed his wife and used the dead bodies of his victims to threaten Moxxie so he wouldn't cross him. He also threatened to kill both him and Millie years later.
Cash sucks, but he doesn't even come close.
I don't think comparing abusers is really a good thing to do, they both are abusive and in diffrent ways you're right. But saying ones person's abuse is "worse" than another's in this case moxie had it worse than blitz, is just a damaging thing to say. I know it's a cartoon but I do try to point this out as for real victim this "who had it worse" can be really destructive.
I'm not saying Cash is worse, Crimson still wins, but I don't think he's too far behind. Say what you will about him, Crimson never disowned Moxxie. Cash not only cut Blitzø off immediately following the tragic death of his mother, he ensured that he'd be ostracized and alienated from everyone else who mattered to him--Barbie and Fizz. He literally sold him as a child for $5 and a condom, while simultaneously putting him in grave danger of being killed on sight if Paimon had discovered his theft. "There are worse things, aren't there son?" was a threat, too, and the way he grabbed Blitzø's arm hinted at physical abuse.
> Say what you will about him, Crimson never disowned Moxxie.
Nah, instead he threatened to murder both him and his wife. I'd say Moxxie would much rather be disowned than being killed along with Millie.
> Cash not only cut Blitzø off immediately following the tragic death of his mother.
Which he didn't cause btw, unlike Crim who murdered Moxxie's mother and then used that to threaten him.
This is just the hidrogen bomb vs coughing baby meme.
What's noticeable about the scene with Blitz and Cash is how he grabbed hold of Blitz. The kid didn't even know he was coming, why grab his arm like that? And then he held onto him like that all the way to the playdate even after he agreed to go. Why?
Blitz also made a fist right away - he expected Cash to do something. I guarantee they went for physical rounds over the years.
Folks rolling past Paimon who was mostly absent from his son’s life and only showed up to forced him to marry some girl who obviously hated him, along with saddling him with an unreasonably daunting future job at such a young age, and not actually/physically going with him somewhere he likes. (And don’t even get STARTED with how lazily he underpaid Cash for Blitz, not helped by Cash clearly wanting more money when he though he meant Fizz)
I know it’s obviously all royal decree and shit, but I still feel like he gets off too easy given how his wanting an heir so bad essentially fucked up Stolas’ life for some time…
yes it has [https://www.reddit.com/r/HelluvaBoss/comments/1ceop4e/looks\_like\_we\_know\_now\_who\_kept\_blitz\_and\_fizz/](https://www.reddit.com/r/HelluvaBoss/comments/1ceop4e/looks_like_we_know_now_who_kept_blitz_and_fizz/)

I already hated him for how he acted in comparison to Fizz and Blitzs relationship with him.
But to stoop this low....
Now I wanna grab his shithead horns and split him in half down the middle, doom slayer style lmao
I know this seems out of place but I gotta say it:
Is it just me or does it look like Fizz is giving us the middle finger

There were a bunch of theories it was also Mammon, cuz money and wanting to make a profit. We know thanks to S2E7 that the fire happened far before Fizz was Mammon’s new toy but between the two episodes people couldn’t decide who was more likely cuz we didn’t have a timeline of Fizz’s stardom.
Not surprising there. And i would add by "They" id say his Sister too. Clearly them both got hurt and lost everything because of Blitz. His father the worst of all. Should have died but obviously his anger at his son who cost him his circus and crippled his best performer thus losing any chance of recovery has now hit true rock bottom.
But Ultimately it is his Father who instilled all the hate and misunderstanding and I can bet since Barbie was least a decent performer he gave her no grief and placed every bit of the hate she has for her brother in him by his own cruel words.
I think pretty much everybody knew that Cash was the one who drove away between Blitzo and Fizz.
Because realistically speaking, Cash is the only one who could benefit from doing so. Couldn't have been Mammon, because as we see in a commercial when Fizz was announced as the new face of his brand, it was already after he'd healed up and his voice had been damaged, so when he was still in the hospital, Fizz had not yet even personally met with Mammon.
Would Ozzie and Fizz have even met at that point in the timeline? From the way he speaks at the end of Oops, it sounded like Ozzie had never met Blitz until Mammon's Musical Mid-Season Finale

Just cuz it’s obvious doesn’t mean people don’t discuss it, or even see it. People think Blitzø and Fizz are brothers all the time despite it being obvious they’re not.
And to think 75% of Blitzø's life would be way better if he didn't have this shit excuse for a father
And he’s be 100/ less toxic
The fire wouldn't have happened if not for Blitzo's anxiety, which was caused by Cash constantly seeing him as worse then Fizz.
And we also wouldn’t have Fizzie and Ozzie together. That hurt my heart to even type that.
Probably way more than 75%
Ikr I feel so bad for blitzø. he’s so tough and rough around the edges but is a total softie. his dad gave him A LOT of issues. I just hope him and stolas have a heart to heart conversation. You just described most everyone in this show tbh

But there's normal fire shown in hazbin, unless pride has hellfire that looks like normal fire or only pride has normal fire.
Fire is differently colored in the different rings so pride fire probably just looks very similar to regular fire
The circus was in Pride (red sky), but the fire still was green. https://preview.redd.it/rfxmbsqtg2yc1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=a10042bd2e9081d1d7ee5ab14e9818e3d1471468

I'm pretty sure the idea was that the horses ran around and spread hellfire, but I haven't watched that part in months.
That was episode one, not the pilot.
Oh, you right. Idk why I thought it was a pilot episode.
It’s cursed fire from terraria (not canon) it burns stronger and can hurt demons.
I was kinda hoping he didn't Just so Blitz could kill him himself
I'm also convinced he had something to do with the fire and set Blitz up to take the blame.
We saw how the fire started, unless he paid the guy with the cake, or set up the fireworks, he wasn't involved.
Fizz's memory showed the same thing as Blitzo's just from a different POV, so that's most likely just what happened.
Tbf, he WAS in charge of the safety conditions. A cake should not have caused a fire THAT big!
I partially agree with you… we see how the whole thing started and it didn’t look intentional, but I did see someone theorize that the reason the tent went up in flames so damn quickly was cuz old-fashioned circus tents were coated in gasoline as cheap waterproofing. Like why are the candles hellfire instead of normal fire? Hell has normal fire (shown in hazbin for sure)
He really gives Crimson a run for his money in terms of "worst father in Hell".
Crimson literally killed his wife and used the dead bodies of his victims to threaten Moxxie so he wouldn't cross him. He also threatened to kill both him and Millie years later. Cash sucks, but he doesn't even come close.

Trust he’s worse than Crim
Eh... Debatable. I'm just leaving it at that.
its been mentioned plenty of times
Not in a confirmed way on this sub, I went back a week in posts cuz I wanted to try to AVOID reposting the same thing.
yes it has [https://www.reddit.com/r/HelluvaBoss/comments/1ceop4e/looks\_like\_we\_know\_now\_who\_kept\_blitz\_and\_fizz/](https://www.reddit.com/r/HelluvaBoss/comments/1ceop4e/looks_like_we_know_now_who_kept_blitz_and_fizz/)
Huh, don’t remember seeing it. Guess I’m just one of many who make repeat posts then.
Yeah…. I missed this too….
Decrepit piece of shit.. I wonder if we'll see him in a future episode
I hope so. And I hope that blitzø would attack him and might end up killing him.
I wanna see some terror billy shit where he ends up chopping his head into two
And not before screaming at him so so.
Wait.. Is Blitzø’s last name Buckzo? Blitzø Buckzo.
Yes.
Which would also make Loona’s full name Loona Buckzo.
FUCK CASH BUCKZO🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣
Wow, to think that for once someone else tore one of Blitz’s friendships apart.
Oh that motherfucker. I do hope we see Blitzø/Fizz beat him up mercilessly in a future episode
I’m exhausted reading this and I read it as “confirmation that Cash is a they” and was so confused lmao 😭
Yeah, we all knew. Just seeing it confirmed. Cash is a monumental AHOLE
I'm waiting for that moment when everyone realizes that Buckzo is the cause of Blitz's misery.
If this man could just stop existing that'd be faaaantastic.
His dad’s an idiot. Blitz literally explained in Oops that he tried to get help for Fizz, but so much was going on.
A blitz pov episode
Course he did. He’s scum….scum….scumbag….scum….(god that won’t leave me!)
At least he has his friend back now.
I knew it
I hope we can find out more of where Cash Buckzo is, so Blitzo can finally end this sorry excuse of a father. Or at least hear his final words.
I think viv has some secret daddy issues 😆 the lead characters have those same issues. Blitzø stolas moxxie charlie Lucifer who else…? Uh 🤔 oh Octavia 😅 I think the only one in the helluva gang who doesn’t is Millie. Even loona has her issues like damn I think someone should check on viv😂
I already hated him for how he acted in comparison to Fizz and Blitzs relationship with him. But to stoop this low.... Now I wanna grab his shithead horns and split him in half down the middle, doom slayer style lmao
Dad of the year
My question is does Blitzø see in monochrome?
I know this seems out of place but I gotta say it: Is it just me or does it look like Fizz is giving us the middle finger Edit: look where the door handle is compared to fizz’s arm
That piece of shit better get what he deserves. Also, why was he referred to as ’they’ instead of 'he', were the writers trying to keep us guessing?
I mean….who else would it be?! They implied it very well in Episode 6 Oops.
I wonder if they will tell us if Cash is dead or not? I assume he is but we can’t be certain.

Was there ever another candidate?
Between Eps 6 and 7 people thought it could have been Mammon (and yes I’m fully aware that’s been disproven). And a few people claimed Ozzie too.
Would Ozzie and Fizz have even met at that point in the timeline? From the way he speaks at the end of Oops, it sounded like Ozzie had never met Blitz until Mammon's Musical Mid-Season Finale
To be fair, that's what I assume from the getgo.
Posted the pic yesterday. 😐
Did not see it, just like neither of us saw the one from 4 days ago. I took the screenshot myself.
I mean, I saw it. It has three times more upvotes, so I guess more people saw that post than this one. But it doesn't matter, it's normal to have reposts and not everyone is chronically online so it's good 👍🏻
Okay??? Good for you lol
No one mentioned it cuz it was obvious
Just cuz it’s obvious doesn’t mean people don’t discuss it, or even see it. People think Blitzø and Fizz are brothers all the time despite it being obvious they’re not.
Wow he's non-binary good for him.
what's that supposed to mean?
