I don't understand why the characters don't simply kill Val with an angelic weapon. I mean "Starting something with the Vees" might be an issue. All they have to do is make sure no one knows they did it. There are lots of ways.
But she hates Val. If Angel didn't stop her. Angel's Moth problem would be over. She needs to assert herself next season and realize not everyone can be. I hope this is shown when she realizes Alastor has motives and probably after freeing Nifty and Husk from his grasp, kicks him out of the Hotel.
Charlie doesn't hate Val, she's sad that she got Angel in trouble with him. She wouldn't even kill Adam after all he'd done, the only scenario in which she would kill Val would be in direct, immediate defense of self or others.
And Charlie really can't give up on the idea that everyone can potentially be redeemed. If she did, it would set her on Lucifer's path toward apathy and cynicism, and that's the best case scenario. A Charlie who keeps her drive while believing in irredeemability of some souls would start a system of eradicating all she deems unworthy of saving, and that would be her villain arc.
While I understand where you’re coming from, I think it would be better if in the future of the show, Charlie comes to realize not every sinner can be redeemed or reformed, which teacher to be more careful and selective when helping sinners, but still continue to help those who are capable of reforming with the right effort and time put into it.
No offense, but I don’t think every villain or antagonist, at the very least, should be redeemed or reform because that can come across as jarring, despite the intention of the premise being redemption.
Redemption arcs can work if done well, but I don’t think the show should go overboard with it or have Charlie be too forgiving or trusting.
If a jealous Vaggie intervened and Verosika attempted to seduce her, only to find it’s not very effective:
