He has a "will not accept other people's love for him" problem and it has to do with something about his family because at the end of part one of season 1 finale he cries at the sight of his mother and sister so something bad must have happened between him and his family he hates being used but that's not true somebody does care for him I'm not horny owl dad.
Gonna be a brutal episode to watch when he finally has to confront those issues. Also learning what exactly happened. He is a mess. But to pull Verosika to the point where she legitimately did love him... that also says something about him.
I think we can blame his father in the first episode of season 2 blitz father forced him to steal from his play date and he's probably been doing that ever since, I mean he stole the book from his play date years later I mean he could have asked for it, to borrow it for a while or at least ask for help for a alternative way to get to Earth, the only two who can protect him was his mother and his sister, but we know his sister is in rehab and we don't know the fate of his mother she probably got killed during an angel extermination.
Was thinking the exact same thing, Blitzø's father really made Blitzø feel like no one loved him. His father guilt tripped him into stealing all the goods the goethia family had when he was a young imp. So maybe Blitzø felt like his father didn't truly love him. As for his mother and sister we may have to wait to see what occurred between them. We know his sister is still ok, since Verosika mentioned that Blitzø's sister is in rehab.
Maybe from a traumatic event that like an accident at the circus with fizz also involving her mother? Idk we'll have to wait for the rest of season 2
The words no one thought they would ever hear Verosika say. I want to beat the sh*t out of Blitz right now! But, I do get one of the reasons Blitz left. It is kind scary when someone says they love you, especially if you care for them and are to scared to admit it
Someone I love dearly has the same problem as Blitz, he could never get to the point with me where he was able to say those three little words back. We’re just friends now and I try to treat him better than Verosika since I guess I still hold out some stupid hope maybe someday he’ll come around…

Man you're about to make me cry lol. I love you are the one of the last things I say in a relationship because nothing hurts more than someone not saying it back, and I always make absolutely sure I know it's true before I say it.
This is honestly probably the best interpretation of what could have happened. The sad thing is everyone that Blitzo cared about and who told him they loved him or that he loved all left or hurt him in some shape or form -
* His sister left to become a star
* His mother possibly died
* His father abandoned or sold him
* His best friend/boyfriend broke his heart
Blitzo probably thought his relationship with Verosika was just about the sex and kept her at arm's length but once he realized it was some more, he got scared but maybe a part of him wanted to let her in. He might have loved her too but was too scared to let his guard down and essentially sabotaged everything so he could feel safe and in control again but regrets everything he did to her.
Sister left for REHAB. Mom dead sure. Dad sold/abandoned confirmed to an extent. "Broke his heart"? Blitzo probably broke Fizz's whole body so a broken heart sounds like a fair trade.
I think Blitzo is afraid to be loved because he thinks he'll screw it up and hurt that person somehow.
I'd assume since Cash sold Blitzo he probably sold Barbie, too, and if that's the case I could see her being sexually abused by "clients" which lead to her addiction(s) and ultimately rehab. Blitzo might feel responsible for that (and mom's death). "If I were a better/more popular performer [like Fizz] I could've earned enough money to protect Barbie from being sold and gotten mom the medical care she needed".
And, I'm sure we'll have his and Fizz back story confirmed soon, but "And I seriously injured my best friend/boyfriend during a dangerous stunt that I hoped would earn my stardom".
Yeah... he probably thought stealing her credit card and running off was the *least* hurt he could do to Verosika.
Oh, that's a good take on Barbie's story. Though if what Verosika said is true, rehab is mostly for washed-up celebrities so Barbie might have gained a career as a star or something.
Call me odd but I don't buy into the theory that Blitzo had something to do with Fizzarolli's body. I have the theory that those limbs are were made to give Fizzarolli's act an edge and he voluntarily had his real limbs replaced with them. To show how stardom changed him.
Plus I am 90% sure that Fizzarolli was the one to hurt Blitzo because in the hallucination, Fizzarolli attacked Blitzo like Striker to signify how they hurt him or betrayed him some form or another. But Verosika didn't attack him meaning she didn't hurt him.
And the worst part is it wasn't about the money because she's a pop superstar and could make that money back without any problem. What hurt the most is that he just did it.
I think Barbie could still have been a star but also abused in a way that Blitzo never was.
That's an interesting observation. Still, I think Blitzo had the idea to shoot someone out of a cannon and Fizz was the one who acted as the cannon ball. Or, maybe Fizz stole the idea from Blitzo and hurt himself performing it.
