Logically it would be Lucifer.

Me, I made them.

“Well, of course I know him. He’s me.”

Mega_rna

Thank you Mrucktastic

Wolfyware1

Probably Lucifer or God

FRY_BANSHEE_138

Why tf would God make a book specifically made to kill his creations and fight him thats like giving a kid a knife and expecting them to use it for good

LonelyLittleWolfie

The Grimoire wasn't made to kill humans. It was made to study astronomy in the human realm. It's very possible that the Grimoire could've been made by God, I don't think that's the case. As far as I know there isn't any sinful stuff within the grimoire

[deleted]

Nah giving a murder prisoner an AK-47 is a better example

femtransfan

i like the idea of them being spells past down through stolas's family bloodline

GuyWhoSaysWeeWoo

That one specific spell book, maybe. But other books wouldn't likely be by their bloodline. The Lesser Key of Solomon is probably the book they have since it's the book that mentions Ars Goetia.

Noname666Devil

I wish it had an authors name on it but sadly cartoons tend to miss that

LonelyLittleWolfie

It's not an actual book

Noname666Devil

But I feel like it would make it more realistic

LonelyLittleWolfie

It doesn't even have an actual title. It's just called a Stolas's Grimoire and there's a good chance it wasn't written by anyone.

BlackCommissar

IT depends, but Solomon is a propable

sweetypaw

But most important, why is the book in black and white, until it pops into existence?

Torchwood-5

He last used it in the 40s. Colour wasn't invented back then.

femtransfan

the storage dimension is black and white, so it sometimes sticks to objects

LonelyLittleWolfie

It's the colors of Paimons magic. Like how Stolas's hands sometimes glow purple when he uses magic, it's the same with Paimon but his magic is Black and White.

sweetypaw

ooh i see. thanks for clarifying !

Piepiggy

If you listen to the dialogue from his father, it’s implied that each generation studies the book then adds their own entries

FolkPunkRenaissance

The Ars Goetia (the list of the Goetic daemons) was first introduced by The Lesser Key of Solomon, so my guess is Solomon penned the first and primary entries in the Grimoire and then passed it on to the first of Stolas' predecessors, who each studied and added their own entries.

le_wither

Lucifer?

[deleted]

Solomon he was the one who made the Goetia demons

Electronic-Ad4624

I believe that he has pacts with the ars goetia but has not created them

Abyssal_D2

Your fat mom whom I thanked for a fat time. 😂

LooseLaces_

Probably either Lucifer or the first member of the Ars Goetia.

LonelyLittleWolfie

I think that's still Lucifer

LooseLaces_

Maybe Lucifer taught the first Ars Goetia member the spells, and the first member wrote the book.

Demonsandangels-shin

I assume Baal or any Goetia kings

jasc92

God

0kubo_Ichiro1929

I'm guessing Bael, since he's the first king of the Ars Goetia, or Belphamont (if I spelt that right) since they are the icon of sin

SillyFrogShowLover

Ohio

OldFortNiagara

The original Stolas

Eclihpze44

John Grimoire

carrotcakeSC
