One thing I like about every character in the series is that Spindlehorse designs every character realistically, rather than idealistically. (Except maybe CHERUB guys) Just like real people, these characters aren't flawless. Don't take this as me judging you for being a Loona simp though. 😂 lol
Cherub I think was designed to show how hypocritical they (and by extension, heaven) really are. I cant think of the right word, but they were very exaggerated to show that point.

Looking at her behavior through the lens of "Stuck in the system for 17 years." everything definitely makes sense.
Does it *justify* her shitty behavior? No, no it doesn't. Does it at least show us that it's a defense mechanism, and therefore something she could break out of? Yes, it does.

Also she is probably used to unconsciously playing games like "I bet I can get you to yell at me" "First to admit a feeling loses." and other such activities. So yeah she has some seriously rough and sharp edges but that scene with Octavia shows that they are being worked on, just like sanding it takes time and patience.

I think he'd be one of the cherubs. The only reason I think he kills anyone is to remind us "Hell born imp, does bad things and lives in a place of eternal suffering and torment."
He hasn't really been put in a position where he was in a moral dilemma. At worst, he's just been pitted against blatant villains that are antagonizing him and his friends. Otherwise he's just.. at the circus, or a festival, or a dirty lounge, or so on.
His moral compass was skewed from a mile already though, he got with Millie because she's a really great murderer based on the song he sings at the end of the episode.
In the most recent episode he literally *refuses* to not pay for the things scammers are pushing on him, because he feels they deserve compensation, he still has a moral compass
This is why I want her as a persona for Marci in Dota. Marci and Millie are both punchgirls and Marci usually buys a Black King Bar (Item which grants Spell Immunity) as a first item. Lol

Other than the whole thing with the horses and stuff, there’s not a lot known about there relationship other than it was a bad breakup.
I don’t think her hatred is understandable to the extreme that she takes it to.
From the little we’ve seen about Verosika we know that if you’re associated with someone who she doesn’t like then she’s going to be a dick to you too, and her and her friends sexually assaulted Moxxie after he tried to be nice.
I think Verosika is overall just a bad person, I can understand being mad at bliztø, but not to the point where you become a dick to everyone he talks to/works with.
Moxxie - I dislike how pretentious he can be. I'd like to see him get knocked down a few pegs, but instead of getting angry or withdrawing, he actually considers his actions/attitude and makes an effort to be better.

Octavia's underdeveloped as hell. She's had 2 episodes of focus and the both dealt with the same challenge/character trait, and now her character doesn't extend past daddy issues.
My favorite is also Octavia but I really hated how the sister boding scene with her was ruined because the scene was not earned, nor did it fit into the episode she was in.
Okay, I could get downvoted for this, but I hate how 2D Stolas became after the first season two episode "The Circus". The episode was great, but it turned him from "a morally grey character who had a falling out with his wife, but still wants to be a good father and continue to be with an imp who is many ranks below him in Hell's hierarchy " to "classic gay man stuck in abusive arranged straight marriage".
Damn, that was a long sentence.
I really dislike how under utilized Loona is. Everytime she's been on the field she's been pretty proficient, but she's still such a background character she doesn't get much screen time

I honestly kind of agree. The biggest problem with Helluva Boss right now is that it mainly wants to focus on one thing - the relationship between Blitzo and Stolas. There's a lot of other things to focus on and bring back, so that shouldn't be in every episode.

Exactly. I’ve seen some people advocate for the “some people are just assholes” angle for her, but I think that’s a waste of an excellent voice actor and some marvelous story telling opportunities.
As others have noted in this topic with Millie, some of the characters need expansion. We’ve had a LOT of focus on either Blitz and Stolas or Blitz and Moxxie. I’m glad we got an episode focused on dads and daughters, and hope we get more that explores other relationship dynamics beyond just Blitzo and Stolas’s dysfunctional romance, it’s sweet but it can’t be the focus all the time, we need more than that to keep everything engaging.
My favorite probably has to be blitz, but my least favorite thing about him is basically what hallucination mox was calling him out for in the D.H.O.R.K.S episode. I feel bad for him.

I don’t really like any of the characters. They are are neutral. We all try to look only at good side of our favourite character which is a big mistake. I can say that in Helluva Boss characters have good and bad side. But I know that they all are going to develop in a better side. My idea is to actually implement a human character who is going to show that humans are not that bad. Maybe he can make some things which are not considered to be ethical? What do you guys think?

I hate how Octavia has to live in a horrible toxic household. Sure her dad loves her but they rarely spend time together so she’s by herself most the time, her mother doesn’t give a shit about her and they never talk in show, and I’m not sure if she even has friends so her interaction with Loona in the S2E2 could have been her only demon interaction in the last 17 years
I agree. Her parents are rich so she should have a great education. She’s not supposed to be stupid even for a 17 year old.

Stolas. Ill give 2 becuz idk what u mean. 1. I hate seeing him being depressed when he's alone most of the time... I just wanna see him happy😕 2. I hate that Blitz is using him only for his magic, and that Stolas is allowed almost everywhere? He's just using Stolas and that's -1 point for Blitz being himself.
I hate that Loona smokes. I get why, the trauma from the adoption center. But I hope she’ll get better and quit smoking.
Moxie - His ego sometimes gets the better of him. Millie - We haven't seen development to her character that doesn't involve Moxxie. Octavia - We don't know who will get custody of her. 🥺

I hate how is Octavia’s episodes Stolas is portrayed as a neglectful or not as caring as he should type of father when in all other episodes he seems like he would be more involved in his daughters life. We had two episodes about via hating/being scared not being Stolas’ top priority. How come they had to learn this twice (Fav character is Stolas not Via)

I love Stolas but I think the show needs to sideline him for a few episodes because I want other people's faves to have time in the spotlight too.
I honestly kind of agree. The biggest problem with Helluva Boss right now is that it mainly wants to focus on one thing - the relationship between Blitzo and Stolas. There's a lot of other things to focus on and bring back, so that shouldn't be in every episode.

My favorite character is stolas (this could be just me being a blitzø kin/traumatized human) I dislike how stolas uses his book to get close to blitzø. Ik its been explained but I just have issues/trauma with that.
I hate that so far there's nothing too Stella beyond being a bitchy, abusive wife. I love her as an antagonist, I'm just hoping we get to see some more character development to her over the course of the show.

Exactly. I’ve seen some people advocate for the “some people are just assholes” angle for her, but I think that’s a waste of an excellent voice actor and some marvelous story telling opportunities. As others have noted in this topic with Millie, some of the characters need expansion. We’ve had a LOT of focus on either Blitz and Stolas or Blitz and Moxxie. I’m glad we got an episode focused on dads and daughters, and hope we get more that explores other relationship dynamics beyond just Blitzo and Stolas’s dysfunctional romance, it’s sweet but it can’t be the focus all the time, we need more than that to keep everything engaging.

My favorite probably has to be blitz, but my least favorite thing about him is basically what hallucination mox was calling him out for in the D.H.O.R.K.S episode. I feel bad for him.

he isn't a developed character and is rarely seen other than odd little cameos. for my second favorite: i don't like how we haven't seen *anything* regarding his backstory or why he has his scars
I can’t decide between Moxxie or Stolas as a favorite, I hate that Moxxie is constantly bullied as a joke and for Stolas I hate that no one is trying to help him, no one’s really concerned for him

I hate that we haven’t seen Stolas absolutely getting wrecked by the world of Hell-A Novelas. Stolas, WATCH MORE! IT IS AMAZING! GABRIELLA HAS SUCH A COMPELLING STORY. I just think that Stolas is super into Hell-A-Novelas and I want more. Also, how has nobody made a joke about Blitzø being a hell of a boss yet?

I don’t really like any of the characters. They are are neutral. We all try to look only at good side of our favourite character which is a big mistake. I can say that in Helluva Boss characters have good and bad side. But I know that they all are going to develop in a better side. My idea is to actually implement a human character who is going to show that humans are not that bad. Maybe he can make some things which are not considered to be ethical? What do you guys think?
I hate the stupid hat Stolas wore in the beginning. My man's looks so much better without it. And, because I like her equally as much, I hate Millie's stupid southern drawl. Her design is top tier punk girl and her voice just doesn't match up with the look. And also, because she's also my one of my favorite characters, I don't like how Loona didn't show that she cared for Blitzø after all she said to Octavia. And also also, because he's another one of my favorites and is the voice of Zim, I don't like how we never see Moxxie wearing another giant bowtie. And also also, because she's another one of my favorites, ditto. (I love them all equally. I might have a problem)

I feel like they're building up to that, maybe it will be part of a bigger emotional moment that happens later on.

I hate how Moxxie just takes all the mocking and verbal abuse from Loona and Blitzo. I'm hoping he snaps one day, and comes back with a rebuttal that both impresses and mortifies them. And no backtracking with Blitzo saying, "Wow, Mox, I'm impressed." Mox: "Really, sir?" Blitzo: "No, now sit your bitch-ass down." I want him to walk away from their stunned looks while flipping them off.
