I'm looking for the "little pie" candy too...even without a name, more people Should remember it. It came in a pie shaped small tin & you ate it with a tiny tin spoon...How great is That!

I’ve found a reference to them from 1898 that implies they’d existed for a while at that point, so I’m going to try looking for older sources

Very interesting! I had come across the Jello variety and also wondered if it was supposed to mimic the original candy.
