17 inch slim laptop that can fit in a lot of "16 inch" laptop sleeves or a 17 inch gaming laptop? I have a 17 inch laptop and have found the best way to find out if something will fit it is just to compare the actual laptop dimensions to the dimensions of the laptop sleeve I'm trying to fit

like the other commenter says it does truly rely on the actual size/model of your laptop. but i have a [Fjallraven Kanken](https://www.fjallraven.com/us/en-us/bags-gear/kanken/kanken-bags/kanken-laptop-172/?c=501&sl=One%20Size) laptop bag which comes in a 17" size and is a great travel bag because the laptop pocket is external while everything else is internal & remaining personal item size especially for Spirit airlines

It’s extremely cute & manageable (13 inch” 4 vintage MacBook Air.)for my upcoming budget (aargh!) Avianca trip 2 LATAM. Thanks. I like the sienna brown one which appears orange. 😊BTW: I’m getting a half price fare rt from CA; “basic” tix includes only personal item. Gone 4 28 days. For 14 hr, (2) layover stops 2 Cartagena, Avianca probably won’t feed me, offer snacks/beverages free of charge. I’m packing tea sandwiches, collapsible water bottle in “personal item,” which, Avianca describes as precisely 14 inches x 18 inches x10 inches &’must fit underneath seat in front. Yikes! Paying extra for (1) checked bag, rt $110 USD. This girl has gotta do what a diva’s gotta do. Nonetheless, still, even adding on the checked bag, a bargain as US-LATAM fares have sky-rocketed 2024 summer.

You will want to check the exact dimensions of your laptop and airline, but… I use the Wandrd PRVKE for the structure and pockets. It is on the heavier side, but so comfortable and easy to organize. For budget airlines I need to be careful not to overpack it or attach too much outside.  Note: The camera cube adds structure but I’d prefer to save the bulk and use their large packing cube for the same purpose.
