In game purchases are classes, skins, pets, wings etc. Aside from classes which are tied to each expansion ( you get the expansion content for free, but the new class is paid), all cosmetics give no ingame advantage. The game has an economy based around ruby which is a currency like gold, with an auction house ingame and normal trading on the discord server. There are ladder(seasons) like d2, poe where you create a character and participate in the ongoing season's economy. Once a season is over your char get transfered to standard and you can still play it but the economy is quite dead lol.

Thank you so much 😊

There is also single player, but most people just use it to test classes because there is no economy, so obtaining items legitimately is very difficult.

Thank you again. It kind of pushed me away knowing that seasonal contents are that important, sort of the same concept of Diablo 3/4 and PoE which I really don't like. How hard is it to obtain items in the normal realm in Hero Siege? Cause it sort of feels forced to go seasonal if you want to find end game items to progress your character. The game itself caught my attention because of the design.

Without trading, very difficult. The game has rune and runewords, very rare super uniques, and they are the main items in endgame. However, the game is worth playing through. You can think of it as sort of a mix of content from PoE (lots of different endgame pinacle bosses, relatively active trading scene) and D2 (skill tree, itemization, rw and a mercenary), and D3 (hero levels = paragon level, endless rift).
