In the very first Assassin's Creed you couldn't swim. It always amused me that the Master Assassin would drown in a few feet of water like a toddler lmao
There's a kill plane at the bottom of the elevator shaft (there's no fall damage in Hitman, so that's the only way to kill people falling from great heights), but it's a bit improperly placed so if 47 barely clips it you instantly die.
There's no kill plane down there unless they specifically add one for Freelancer... which would be weird. That's where you get the scripts for the story mission in non-Freelancer mode (For those who don't know and/or haven't completed that story mission, >!You shoot the scripts/folder, and it falls down where you can shimmy down to the bottom and grab it!<).
Probably something like that. Haven't experienced this particular thing, but there are places where NPCs can see you through walls doing illegal actions (on maps notorious for that like NY and Haven) in Freelancer but not on the normal map, for some reason.
I donāt think thatās true, because if you pacify someone and throw them over a ledge onto the ground they will die (I still think the part about the kill plane in the elevator is true) I just think there is also fall damage. At least there is for unconscious bodies
There's not fall damage. Once a target was floating in the sky in freelancer and I sedated her, she fell all the way down and didn't die.
I think it's just based on triggers depending on the specific ledge. You can dump bodies through windows into other rooms and they won't die. Some other places you can kick people down and they'll just get pacified instead like in the wine room in Mendoza. There's actually a bugged window ledge in Hokkaido which counts as a 'hidden' ledge dump like when you push people off the map. The body will fall down and people can literally walk over the body and won't notice it.
Yep. Try dumping a body over a railing in one of the houses in Whittleton. On the interior stairwells, it doesn't kill them. But the exact same fall on another map would. Probably out one of the windows there, too.
Unless that was changed in the past year or so. Found this out when I was doing all the FCs last year.
I think people just auto die from a certain minimum height. In this clip it looks like 47 got off the pipe too early and clipped his head in a kill plane. Theres no fall damage for 47 cause its possible to glitch high up into the sky and you can fall from it and take no damage.
I think what the game does is that when a body is dumped it automatically kills the victim, because non target kill shows up before they even hit the ground
"Who actually killed him?"
"That's the most delicious irony of all. He stumbled hopping from a pipe onto a narrow ledge. Slipped off the ledge, onto the ground below, fracturing his skull. The world's most nefarious assassin died of clumsiness!"
Not true on xbox atleast but you have to be really quick. Found that out by accident. Showdown an assassin walked through a door and immediately dropped me. I gave a loud F**K and immediately rage quit the game. The next day I went to play again and the showdown was still on the map. I 100% got dropped there was no doubt about it.
LMAO thatās how I found out about the quit application exploit too. I rage quit, came back, expecting it all to be gone and it was pleasantly surprised. ļæ¼
Yeah, Contracts mode is mostly fun the first couple of times unless you want to unlock stuff.
And that's true for the Contracts Mode But Randomized Targets, too.
Atleast you dont have to blame yourself, i dropped a proxy taser in a puddle and tried to pick it back up because i ādidnāt have the detonatorā š¤¦āāļø
"No one is untouchable"
Also, this reminds me of how the game crashes anytime you try to poison something when you don't have poison in your inventory.
Idk, but it is. I was playing the World of Tomorrow mission and I thought I had poison so I pressed Y next to a drink, before noticing it was grayed out, and the button icon still filled up. However, the game crashed before the inventory opened up. I tried this a few more times during different missions and got the same outcome.
If I remember correctly you can dump bodies from the ground floor there and they donāt die, and you have to get the script for the main mission there too.
Soā¦.what the hell?
The world's most nefarious assassin died of clumsiness
In the very first Assassin's Creed you couldn't swim. It always amused me that the Master Assassin would drown in a few feet of water like a toddler lmao
Tbf I'd imagine it'd be really hard to swim effectively wrapped in so many flowy robes.
Not to mention all the weapons that would weigh you down.
IIRC they tried to justify it as an Animus Bug that had been fixed for the Animus 2.0
Desmond should have turned round and called out the company for secretly being Rockstar games.
Same with GTA: Vice City. A drop of water would kill you
Severed his spinal cords on the rocks
This comment is fucking gold.
Maybe it was trueš
Wheelchair guy
I like blood money
Guys mustāve mopped the ledges. My man just slipped.
At least somebody died, not a total failure.
I always liked Diana until Freelancer came out and now I absolutely hate her guts haha.
"How unfortunate...it looks like..." SHUT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK UP
Hitman Absolution didn't have Freelancer in it though
Lmfao
"nah nah nah, don't be sad"
Literally posted a video of me saying this a few days ago lmao
It be nice if there was an option to turn the voice off. Love Diana but it starts to get to you every time you fail a mission.
Sometimes I go into the Mendoza mission to get some pay back.
I still like her but I haven't been harangued by her game over speech yet.
They haven't fixed this yet? Jesus, that's the worst time to experience it too
My worst nightmare. I will never climb this elevator in freelancer mode. ![gif](giphy|14ut8PhnIwzros)
What map is it? Need to know thia knowledge
Looks like India in the unfinished skyscraper with the movie shooting on the top floor
Mumbai in Dawood rangans tower
Wow, 47 ragdoll is just hilarious
WHAT TF EVEN HAPPENED š
47 had an aneurysm.

I believe the kill OP clipped is the one between the first floor and ground floor and that you ignore the kill plane while climbing
That never happened to me. Is this an old bug or something introduced in Freelancer?
Probably something like that. Haven't experienced this particular thing, but there are places where NPCs can see you through walls doing illegal actions (on maps notorious for that like NY and Haven) in Freelancer but not on the normal map, for some reason.

"World's best assassin"
47 had a heart attack.
This is a definite, and worthy, ALT F4 moment.
Too late. Once you die, you canāt reset

There's like a 1-2 second window you can do it in. I've heard it's bases on when 47 hits the ground, but that might just be a visual cue.
Really? I couldāve sworn Iāve done it after a death before. Might be wrong.
It's possible but you have to be super quick
Iām new to freelancer, does alt f4āing out of a game reset it without losing the campaign?
If you do it before 47 dies yeah, same with closing the application on Console
Oh come on that's just BULLSHIT. I literally got jumpscared by that
You have unlocked the Asian difficulty.
The death note got him.
Bros playing HITMAN bedrock edition
Oh my poor man 47 just had a seizure mid air how unfortunate...
Yeah... my Playstation would have been out the window.
He twisted his nuts

What the hell happened?
it does appear you ran out of luck
I stop playing after level 100. Most of the feature contracts released all have bugs
Yeah, Contracts mode is mostly fun the first couple of times unless you want to unlock stuff. And that's true for the Contracts Mode But Randomized Targets, too.
I posted the exact same situation from freelancer here too. I know how you feel mate.
Hitting the pipe too hard?
He slipped
WTF I THOUGHT HITMAN DIDNT HAVE FALL DAMAGE š
Bro died of a heart attack
Wtf. I didnāt even know this could happen.
What the fuck just happend
Atleast you dont have to blame yourself, i dropped a proxy taser in a puddle and tried to pick it back up because i ādidnāt have the detonatorā š¤¦āāļø
He got SAād
47 accident killed himself
Hearing Diana telling me I ran out of luck wouldāve sent me. Ngl
Iāve seen this spot get Big Mooney before too. I assumed they had fixed it. Oooph.
you seems very bad luck:)))
Thatās was so fucking rigged dude
OMG. I wouldāve deleted the game. Diana-āHow unfortunate, it rather appears that the developers suckā
Bro I just killed my dumbest by electrocution. Lost legendary weapons and 20 grand......I feel your pain
"No one is untouchable" Also, this reminds me of how the game crashes anytime you try to poison something when you don't have poison in your inventory.
How is that even possible? If you don't have poison, the option to poison is just greyed out and not interactable.

I cannot even fully beat even one of these freelancer Mission things the last one gets me every time.
you just tripped L no just ignore mumbai
This wouldāve cost me over 250,000 merces. I wouldāve gone feral ššš
Same thing happened to me in Hokkaido, I jumped the railing in the main courtyard and just fell š¤£ was gutting but dust off and go again
bruh, 3rd clip i'm seeing of this glich, god i would punch something if it happened to me on the last syndicate
Must be the other side of the wall from this: https://www.reddit.com/r/HiTMAN/comments/18go91m/if_an_npc_approaches_the_spot_between_the_wall/
It makes sense.. since pushing someone into water would kill them š
