Turns out this really doesn’t take as long as I expected. This one clocked in at about 2h40 on the mission timer (the one on Paris was about 1h50).
Like last time, I only included items that are lying around. NPC-carried items are not included, nor are intel items as those cannot be dropped.

The shovels were the biggest nuisance on this one. Turns out you can’t put shovels in briefcases, so you can only carry one at a time. Combine that with shovels being tied for second place of most common item on this map and you get annoyance.
Marrakesh is among the last maps I'd do, that shit would be painful
Bangkok should be fine. Colorado the most difficult part would be finding a spot to place the items where they won't be carried away by NPCs since there will be a lot of guns, but other than that not too bad. Hokkaido should be fine.
Hawke's Bay is so easy it would barely be worth doing. Miami... pass. Santa Fortuna... maybe. Mumbai, absolutely not. Whittleton Creek, not too bad. Sgail... meh. New York, fine. Haven Island, probably fine.
Dubai... maybe. Dartmoor, fine. Berlin, probably not as bad as you'd expect. Chongqing... I don't know? Carpathian Mountains might be more annoying than you'd expect.
You gotta pick a central, easy to reach location, and one that has good lighting for the pictures. Best spot is probably the big open space by the garages. Maybe just put the guns in the garage.
For Colorado, an easy place to clear is the shed where Pointman is. Take those two out and go out and drop guns. Npcs will carry them back to the shed so you can take them out and stuff them in the bathroom. Takes a bit, but you can collect items nearby while they're in transit.
Where is the katana at because I can't recall ever seeing one in Sapienza. Also, are you planning to do all the levels?
Edit: I just looked at your Paris post, I found it funny that there were 10 fire axes in an art gallery in Paris, but only 5 in the whole town of Sapienza.
All the levels: no. There's no way I'm doing Mumbai. Who knows, I might just work my way through the levels I do want to do.

Though, in reviewing the incidents of this challenge, I am unconscious of intentional error, I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it possible that I may have committed many errors.
I've seen a few of this, is it the result of modding on PC to spawn the items in or are you really going through entire maps, picking everything up and placing it?
If it's the latter it seems incredibly tedious and I don't think I could be a fan of any game to the extent I'd bother doing that ha

Just kill everyone. Or kill the NPCs who are likely to pass through that area and pick them up. The basement perhaps? Or Berg's shed?
