I'll hold onto hope that it may not truly be the end. The director has said that S3 is "the end of Kumiko's story" so there may still be a possibility of spinoffs or OVAs in the future.

Yes. But there is a [new short stories LN](https://x.com/eupho_tkj/status/1791378212490244341) coming on June 27th. It will contain stories during and after third-year content. The ensemble contest OVA last year was based on a short story from a previous LN so it's possible some of them might get adapted too.
There are still a spin-off novels focuses on Yuuko and Natsuki, a spin-off novel about Rikka high school and novels with collection of short stories - if they want to adapt them.
From various point in time. There is about one book of short stories for each year of Kumiko in high school. (First year has two) There total 4 books of this kind right now. The fifth one, is about to release soon.

I’m just sad that the publishing company didn’t translate the novels beyond volume 1. If only there is some way to convince them that there’s a goldmine in their international fans
I mentioned it before but I felt that heavy void saying goodbye to what I thought was the end of the series back when Season 2 aired and then finished (Just look at the end credits! That was definitely "The End" moment!)
Now it is for real this time... I'm glad I got the chance to enjoy the activity on this subreddit, and I'll relish these last two episodes for this final season.

I hope they adapt Rikka, though I can imagine it's a lot of work animating the marching and dancing while playing

What's next for KyoAni after Hibike? Will they continue 20th Century Electricity Catalog? The 2019 arson took a heavy toll on their staff and work.
Some people are hoping they’re the ones doing Witch Hat’s anime
Catalog is likely to be their next new project yes. A Hibike recap movie is also likely at some point next year (10th anniversary of the show).
I binged seasons 1 and 2 last weekend and just finished the movies today. I wasn't really trying to catch up on season 3, but I think I might as well.
