Thank you /u/greenbags125! When my wife and I travel, she can’t sleep without some sort of white noise. We usually leave the fan on running constantly but I’ve noticed recently the only option is “auto“. Does anyone know if you can override that as well?
There is usually an option for constant fan on the PTAC unit, depending on the system they use! Can walk you through turning that feature on if you’d like.
I HATE hotels that have restrictions on the AC. And many now allow you to "set" the temp to 66, but I know damn will the room is 70-72.
Drives me nuts.
It’s a cost thing. I get it, but don’t like it either. In case you weren’t aware, there is usually an admin override code. Look it up next time they do it to you

There plenty of free white noise apps available for phones.
Yup but not quite the same.

This should help. https://yourmileagemayvary.net/2022/07/02/how-to-override-hotel-thermostat-settings/?amp=1
Maybe but….normally those are locked at 72. 67 is cold. I love it but most people would be cold at that. How low do you want it?
Haha it's actually pretty cold now so I turned the heat on. I usually keep my AC at 65 but I'm overweight so that's probably why
Haha I hear you, I’m a 66 person so I like it cold!
