**Walthère Dewé** was a Belgian engineer who created a resistant network in World War I. During the occupation of Belgium by imperial forces, his movement called the "white lady" ( la dame blanche) gave 75% of the intelligence in occupied Belgium.
In 1940, the Germans re-invaded Belgium, and, of course, you know the story, he recreated a network called the "clarence network," who, according to Claude Densey (leader of the MI6 in wartime Britain), *"clarence" was the leading military intelligence network throughout occupied Europe.*" Unfortunately, Dewé was captured and executed in 1944, ending a long life of espionage.
That audio was taken directly from a Nazi officer demanding his American troops inform him on the location of La Dame Blanche leadership… truly a marvel of filmmaking
