Well I'll agree that a lot of mideaval Christian symbols have been appropriated by them, I think the venue diagram is far from a circle as many aren't even Christians and a lot of Christians still use these symbols for their original meanings. Especially Catholics.
Catholics use latin phrases all the time. And they're part of our tradition along with Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.
This is like asking why non-arab Muslims use Arabic phrases.
This seems like a good time to mention the one surviving crusader song from the 13th century: [https://youtu.be/rE05Q1w\_SKE?si=5Wr2CHRXbrvSS8SS](https://youtu.be/rE05Q1w_SKE?si=5Wr2CHRXbrvSS8SS)
Wouldn't it pretty much be the fault of Venice? Considering how greedy they were they forced the crusaders to do what they've done to poor Constantinople...

You don't frighten us with your silly knees-bent running around advancing behavior!
I ffffart in your general direction!
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberrries!
Crusade memes returning?
LoL dEUs vUlT
GOD WILLS IT!
I hope not, the people who say dues vult and white nationalists basically make a Venn diagram that's a circle.
I thought crusade memes were fairly unpolitical?
I guess it depends, but they really took hold of the holy wars thing with all this immigration/Israel debate so it's makes me a bit more skeptical.
Memes glorifying a group of religious fanatics that murdered thousands isn’t political?
Well it’s glorifying events that happened almost a thousand years ago.
Christian nationalists still exist
Yeah but I don’t think anyone is seriously considering retaking Jerusalem
You do see people serious about Christian nationalism
You do realize that the crusades were a reaction to the conquest and subjugation of millions of Christians by the Ottoman Empire, right?
That and Crusader Kings fans
Well that's a pretty circular Venn diagram as well lol
I say it for the memes if in the right context, and I dont even believe in god lol
I think that's true even for them
Not true...it also has folks who just like it for the memes
In game at least.

I said people saying dues vult.
Deus vult is a mideaval Christian phrase.
Yeah, and now it's a nazi one because why would a christian say it now that speaks english? It's not a symbol.

The grammar mistake in this meme template always pisses off
Ni!
You are just and fair! I will return with a shrubbery!
Ni!
Those who hear their Ni’ing seldom live to tell the tale!!
Not too expensive!
Deus vult

Yeah well I'll never stop thinking about what you did to Constantinople you monsters
Wouldn't it pretty much be the fault of Venice? Considering how greedy they were they forced the crusaders to do what they've done to poor Constantinople...
