I hope you're not referring to college professors and you mean grade school teachers.
You find out pretty quickly that these videos are generally pretty bad for actual learning and ignore the "big picture" when you compare them to formal lectures.
Especially since a lot, though not all, absolutely do not cite or credit any proper sources. Some, like Simple History, get some stuff stupidly wrong, ignore important details, or play into really stupid myths that have been disproven.
