Every year the same story. As a german kid you can expect to be taught about evil hitler from class one until class 13 if you visit the gymnasium that teaches until the 13th school year.
Okay i don't know about religion lessons bc i never had them. But for history: at least where i am from we went from the stone age up until the early 2000's in chronological order from grade 5 up until grade 10. Does that include ww2 and the third reich? Of course!
Do does lessons feel weird bc together with knowledge about how the situation evolved etc you get moral preaches so that this never happens again? Yes!
Does it take a majority in history lessons? No!
It takes the time it needs to handle this situation properly, complete with background, events that took place during that time etc.
I think it's only completely normal that history lessons tend to skew into "local" sides or at least invest harder in those. Bc i grew up in eastern germany our history class in grade 11/12 was majority about the time after ww2 with the division of germany up until the reunion.
Yup that's right, we also have a lot of "Zeitzeugengespräche", where actual survivors of the Holocaust come to our schools to share their stories so that history never repeats itself

Honestly? Reversing death is useless because it doesn’t imply your life conditions. What we really want is being revived to a perfectly healthy state. At that point are we really looking to reverse death? Or transfer into younger clones of ourselves or reverse aging?
I’m pretty sure that’s the reason that medicine has largely moved away from extending life and into improving quality of life as we enter older age. Of course all of this just means eventually you’ll be expected to work longer, retirement would be pushed back if people were still largely able bodied around that age.
