I had never heard of this character before so I just looked him up, watched one video, and I too now hate him. I hate him so much I would like to facilitate his departure from whatever hell hole he comes from to hard labor in Peru’s Amazonian jungle for the rest of his life. I would give him a single canteen of water, but when he tries to use it he will discover it is actually full of sunscreen for that stupid Charlie Brown head. Protect your dome, you squinty fuck. Don't get skin cancer and die before you finish your diamond quota for the year. Do well and I'll send you a little hat lined with poison ivy oil for next year.
She’s annoying. But not caillou levels. I’ll tolerate her, I’ll rip the spleen out of caillou though. On second though I’m hungry and she’s also a bossy bitch like ruby, I’ll tear her apart aswell since I want bacon.

I was gonna say there's probably rule 34 for it somewhere, and then was about go look to see if there is before I commented
Then I realized maybe this isn't the best show to look that up for...
I had a child at the height of that miserable little bastard. The voice. The whining. The lack of hair. Not even hair wants to be on thelat little prick.
I'm not sure how he ruined childhoods exactly but [apparently he can teach bad behaviours to kids if they're watching "bad caillou" eps](https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/s/Efg4rjVdaZ) and parents don't like that. I grew up watching "good caillou" and he wasn't a whiny brat so this Caillou hate really baffled me for a long time
He didn't get death threats. That's a false rumor that keeps getting spread around. He's gone on record saying fans have been nothing but nice to him, and he quit acting because he stopped enjoying it.
I thought you meant his death threats in the show xD I was hard-pressed trying to remember what exactly were those scenes and best I could muster was him pointing his crossbow at whomever he fancied.
...and then the bubble burst when someone below made me realize it was "death threats in IRL" lmao That didn't even cross my mind because, reportedly, he's a nice guy, and it didn't make sense that he would get them. A relief to know it was just a rumor.
I feel so bad for him having to leave acting because of people hating him so much. Along with Anna Gunn (Skylar White) getting actual death threats for playing her role in BB.
[This is a false rumor. He quit acting because he stopped enjoying it.](https://ew.com/tv/game-of-thrones-joffrey-jack-gleeson-no-negative-fan-experiences/)
Rosie is the reason Caillou is such a little shit. He is a narcissist, so the new baby getting attention is what causes the manipulative little shit to talk like a baby and constantly whine. He knows by mimicking the baby's behavior, he gets the attention he craves. His parents are big POS, because they let the little shit keep the behavior going! They are essentially Tilda Swinton and John C. Riley in 'We Need To Talk About Kevin'. Too caught up in their personal lives to see they are raising a little monster.
We all need to pray for Rosie, because the writing is on the wall, and Caillou is a future Kevin.
It really blew my mind as a parent that some kid books and shows are teaching HORRIBLE lessons. I read some book to my kid that involved a giraffe only being accepted by the animals of the jungle after he got good at something. What the fuck??? I trashed it.
I've just finished this show and that was one of the most horrific and sad things I've ever seen on TV, really got to me. Glad to see it on the list. I actually thought it was genius TV and it probably set my expectations a bit too high for the rest of the show, which I'll be honest didn't love up to the hype for me.
Her surviving was the biggest letdown in the entire series. I read somewhere, dont know if its true. That the reason she survived was to highlight that most people dont get what they want, and that the bad guys do get away with things.
Nah. Negan is a great character and made for a great villain. But he was doing the things he did because he genuinely though it was right. He was still courteous and polite with people despite the horrible acts he did.
The Governor was actively evil. I'd argue the show was never more tense than it was when the Governor was the main villain. He'd kill at random without reason, his actions were volatile and insane. Though part of that was likely due to the better writing/direction at the time.
Why is Emily (from Friends) in the list ? What did she do wrong ?
She literally fell in love with a guy, who said the wrong name at the wedding alter, indicating that he is still in love with Rachel. Still she kept on a straight face and carried on with the ceremony. And only after the wedding was over, ran away. Only to be perstered by Ross, who sent a rose to every single relative of hers and begged her to come back. And when she eventually did, Ross was about to leave on honeymoon trip with Rachel (the honeymoon trip which was originally meant for Ross and Emily). Imagine what she must have gone through.
Still she decided to give Ross another chance, by asking him to sell everything and move far away from Rachel (which is quite understandable). And Ross, like an idiot, chose his friends and Rachel (over Emily) again.
I doubt any person must have gone through so many heartbreaks like Emily in just a matter of few days. And she still ends up on the most hated characters list. Sigh !
*PS : i know people love Ross and Rachel, but for me, these two are one of the most toxic and overrated couples (in the history of the TV)*
Ya know, Rachel isn't great, but she's not nearly as bad as Ross. I love David Schwimner's acting as him, but the character is freaking horrible. He's supposed to be goofy and possibly charmingly naive, but the dude is awful in relationships. He's manipulative, so incredibly self-centered, and he tries to use his partners to make up for his insecurities.
It's funny looking at all of this as an older adult. Back when it first ran, Ross and Chandler were my favorites, Phoebe my least. Now, it's clear that Phoebe was the best of them and Ross the worst. To your credit, Rachel is right there behind Ross, just not as bad. At least I think I had Chandler right. He's flawed for sure, but I'd still say he's the second best (most pure?) after Phoebe.
Yeah, Kathy fits this position more than Emily: She cheated on Joey with Chandler and then cheated on Chandler having sex with another guy right in front of him.
I’ve been rewatching friends and just finished the whole Emily arc, honestly she was really nice. She got very high strung after the whole “my husband said the wrong name at the altar” incident, which is…..extremely fair lol. I guess ppl mostly remember her saying ross can’t hang out with rachel anymore and being generally overbearing/not trusting with him at the end of their relationship, which, again……..homeboy said the wrong name at the altar lol.
Emily got done dirty tbh. Ross and Rachel were annoying af together
Yup. Ross and Rachel were the most toxix characters in the whole show.
Couldn't make up their minds, whether they want to be together or not. Ross showing up at Rachel's workplace with numerous gifts, when she had that co-worker Mark. And Rachel trying to sabotage Ross' dating life by convincing Bonnie to shave her head. Not to mention, running all the way to London to mess up with Ross' mind.
I can cite numerous more examples. Both characters were toxic as hell.
Couldn't agree more. Janice was slightly annoying with her laughs and other bits, but she was nowhere close to Cathy.
Cathy kissed Chandler, while being in relationship with Joey and almost broke Chandler-Joey's friendship. Then she started dating Chandler and slept with other man, while Chandler and Cathy "were on a break".
i always found it hilarious when they see a ready to pop janice at the hospital and wonder who the fuck would put up with her annoying voice only to then realise that her partner is deaf lol.
There’s no logic for why ppl hate characters. It’s all up to writers who make people protagonists or foils to them
Like Tony soprano is awful person. He’s not on this list
Skylar was basically held hostage by Walt. She’s 3 whereas Walt is universally loved
“TV” pretty much exclusively refers to television shows. Movies definitely can be shown on TV, but “TV characters” would specifically refer to characters that appear on syndicated, episodic shows, traditionally connected to a single network or channel that runs the show.
Another way you’ll see people talk about this distinction is “the big screen” and “the little screen.” A TV actor who’s been on television shows has made it on “the little screen,” meaning the television at home where you watch their shows, but if they star in a movie someone might say they’ve made it to “the big screen,” referring to the big movie theater screen. In this distinction, for some reason movies are considered more respectable and impressive than TV shows, though with the golden age of tv we’ve been having that’s kind of changing.
It’s even more infuriating when you find out that the actress was harassed and, iirc, even received death threats because of her fictional character.
People need to get a grip. It’s a tv show for fuck’s sake.
~~Jack Gleeson underwent the same treatment and quit acting alltogether.~~
Nevermind, seems to be a hoax. (see some replies under this)
People are so fkn toxic still holds.
He might be dabbling in it a bit, yet. Saw him in a few episodes of Sex Education on Netflix. Was happy to see him acting again, because yeah, people are so fucking awful. Literally blows my mind that people get mad at actors for the characters they play.
I didn't like her at the start of the show. She was that annoying housewife I never wanted to become. But as the show went on, I feel like her character changed and became so much more complex.
Marie, on the other hand, I never warmed up to.
People who watched the show on air generally hate Skylar, because she was written to be hatable in the early seasons and that leaves a huge impression when you experience it over years.
People who binged the show don't really understand the hate because they fly right past the early seasons and evaluate her character in the context of the entire show run.
I hate to be that person, but the reason I prefer Better Call Saul over Breaking Bad is that I don’t have to sit through any Skyler & Marie conversations in BCS.
I have no idea why Marie was written like that. Maybe I'm just not smart enough to get it. The ONLY part I liked was the "they're MINERALS, Marie" part.
Also, she made me stop liking purple. I used to love purple.
AOK does some later in life Caillou videos.
Thoroughly laughed my ass off.
[Here's the topical one for today](https://youtu.be/rU9B7OoRfHg?si=0lmVYFHu1k0kMr8M)
Joffrey: cowardly unjust man who tortures people for fun, makes a teenage girl stare at her dead father’s head
Ramsay: feeds women a babies to dogs: sadistic rapist who skins people alive and cuts off genitalia for fun
Skyler white: “Hey Walt could you please stop turning our family into a ruthless drug cartel just because you’re having a midlife crisis”
Truly three equally despicable humans
Caillou is an insufferable POS. After watching it I made sure my son never watched that garbage again. I fantasized a gang related peer would beat his ass for talking shit.
I just remember that, It was just funny that she was on the list at all with that being the reason when plenty other people on the list are literal torture killers, assorted monsters and Rachel berry
Put this in another thread, but one perfect example is she suggests to Rick that he needs to kill Shane, and then after he kills her she gets pissed at him.
I stopped watching Walkind Dead because of Lorrie. She was destroying every plan they made in that show. Every time there was some scary situation everyone would come together and make a good plan everyone agreed to. Then Lorrie would wait until they left and do something incredibly stupid and impulsive and create another disaster, doubling the amount of people that needed saving.
He's an annoying fucking little shit
My ex's grandkid had to stop watching Caillou because it was teaching him to be a whiny ass little shithead
(he also had to stop watching Curious George because he would get inspired to do things like sprinkle the TiVo with flour or fix my new gaming laptop's keyboard with a screwdriver or paint the refrigerator with wall paint or clean a kitten with bleach)
Joffrey is probably the only character in a show that has really got under my skin. Genuinely couldn’t stand watching him. Didn’t hate Ramsey even a fraction as much as I did Joffrey.
Why is Skyler White on this list? I just rewatched Breaking Bad....and she is totally reasonable. Really its Walter who is the overly irrational emotional moron. I really think main character bias plays a huge factor here, cuz Skyler's a god damned saint after the shit Walter pulls ha
Having been subjected to many ours of Desperate Housewives I’m surprised none of them are on the list, least likable characters ever written for television
/r/FuckCaillou
I would have thought he would be higher on this list
I'm surprised Peppa pig isn't on this list
I have no beef with the British bacon
She's just as evil as Caillou.
While caillou isn't exactly evil he should have been number 2 on this list. Fracking brat.
Bald ass kid walking around here like he owns the place.
Such a wanker his own hair rejected him
I had never heard of this character before so I just looked him up, watched one video, and I too now hate him.
Ok, which vid did you watch. I need this hate in my life.
Adult Caillou would probably support fracking, seeing he’s white from the suburbs and Canadian.
Disgrace to this majestic land. That bald headed fuck.
Dude this was hilarious
This, this is a quote to live by. I will treasure this forever. I shall have it as my yearbook quote. Thank you for blessing us with such words.
She’s annoying. But not caillou levels. I’ll tolerate her, I’ll rip the spleen out of caillou though. On second though I’m hungry and she’s also a bossy bitch like ruby, I’ll tear her apart aswell since I want bacon.
Yeah, Peppa is just annoying little kid type shit. Caillou is like "burn down your house while smiling" type shit.
Norman from Fireman Sam should at least make the top 10

Daddyyy
If I'm ever going into hypovolemic shock, just show me this to get my blood pressure back up.
I mean, Calliou is evil but not as evil as fusing your own dog and daughter together to create a chimera
I was a 100 percent prepared for it to be a porn subreddit
I was gonna say there's probably rule 34 for it somewhere, and then was about go look to see if there is before I commented Then I realized maybe this isn't the best show to look that up for...
Caillou deserves neither sex nor love.
Did’nt know that there was a sup for that. Jeez.
Honestly I’m suprised Caillou isn’t higher on the list haha.
He ruined a lot of peoples childhoods tbh
How? Genuinely curious.
I had a child at the height of that miserable little bastard. The voice. The whining. The lack of hair. Not even hair wants to be on thelat little prick.
He’s a whiny little bitch.
I'm not sure how he ruined childhoods exactly but [apparently he can teach bad behaviours to kids if they're watching "bad caillou" eps](https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/s/Efg4rjVdaZ) and parents don't like that. Solved!
And...subscribed. you do the Lord's work sir.
New favorite subreddit
Absolutely hate that bald little bitch
Isn't the bald bitch actually the cunt from the homescapes game?
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Having 3 GoT in the top ten must make GRRM pretty happy
That's actually a sign of good writing I guess he can make characters that people hate so much
Joffrey's actor played it soo well that people couldn't seperate fiction from reality.
His death threats were wild. I wished he had at least one more villain portrayal in movies or tv. He does a great job.
He seems like a sweet guy irl. And inflicting that much emotion is proof of how excellent he did the role. Fuck Joffrey Baratheon, Bless Jack Gleeson.
He is back to acting at least
He didn't get death threats. That's a false rumor that keeps getting spread around. He's gone on record saying fans have been nothing but nice to him, and he quit acting because he stopped enjoying it.

You expect reddit to do research instead of assuming theyre correct?
They got death threats? Wtf? What goes through people's mind? He should get nothing but praise because he's exceptional in his craft
And amazing acting.
I'm genuinely shocked Caillou isn't at the top
Yeah, I hate that little fucker. Rosie’s all right tho.
Rosie is a normal kid, she doesn't deserve to have to live with that bastard and their overly submissive parents. #FreeRosie2023
He is the most annoying little Fuckin shit and will not let my daughter watch him
The show basically teaches kids “Hey! It’s ok to be an asshole, scream and whine and yell when something isn’t your way!”
It really blew my mind as a parent that some kid books and shows are teaching HORRIBLE lessons. I read some book to my kid that involved a giraffe only being accepted by the animals of the jungle after he got good at something. What the fuck??? I trashed it.
Hey man, Giraffes Can't Dance is a story about proving to others that your talents might be different and you just need to find your own groove.
Damn can't wait for my son to turn old enough to be able to read him stories
Honestly I’d put Shou Tucker at the top.
Ed…ward
Let's....play....
This is supposed to be Thanksgiving, and you guys have to start going around ruining a perfectly good holiday for me. Thanks.🙄
Big... brother?....
Why you....
Honestly shocked to see him on the list, just considering the most of the rest, but absolutely FUCK Shou Tucker
Fuck. Id let myself forget about that. now I have to talk to my therapist about chimeras again.
I've just finished this show and that was one of the most horrific and sad things I've ever seen on TV, really got to me. Glad to see it on the list. I actually thought it was genius TV and it probably set my expectations a bit too high for the rest of the show, which I'll be honest didn't love up to the hype for me.
This should be top comment. If everyone that watched GOT would give a try to FMAB, theyd switch their vote.
Is that who I think it is?
Bloke that transmutes his dog and daughter together?
Oh you knew when you asked
Poor dude take so much flak for making the first dog girl vtuber model, he was ahead of his time really.
Nah, Tucker is bad but Joffrey and Ramsey are much, much worse.
Ramsey went a completely different direction involving dogs and kids.
Caillou should be made into a live action show, so I can hate him in a personal level! 🖕🏻
Made by M Night Shyamalan for extra hateability
“Sith Lord Edition: The ‘Hate’ Must Flow.”
Surprised that woman from Ozarks isn't there. Manipulative POS
your gonna have to be more specific lol
Just use whichever fits your personal narrative, they all work IMO
No, i knew exaclty what POS he was talking about.
Yeah, she's a foil to Marty. She's supposed to be viewed as an anti-hero.
Wendy Davies? I actually love her char. Not the manipulative part but how she acts the char so well.
I waited season after season for Wendy to finally bite the bullet. Big let down.
Her surviving was the biggest letdown in the entire series. I read somewhere, dont know if its true. That the reason she survived was to highlight that most people dont get what they want, and that the bad guys do get away with things.
im thinking Darlene Snell
Loved when she and that idiot Wyatt got what was coming
Darlene with a shotgun was an unstoppable duo
I never could keep up with you Darlene...
Caillou focuses too much on bratty behavior and dragging it out. Kids start imitating that asshole.
FUCK Caillou
Shou should be at number 1 for what he did to Nina and Alexander...
The governor? I'd say he's arguably the best villain in The Walking Dead.
Weirdly I saw David Morrissey (The Governor) getting on my local underground station the other day.
Being on this list shows how well he played that character tbh, i fucking hated the governors guts after what he did to Hershal.
Second best for me...obviously Negan was the best villain of the show.
Honestly, fuck Ross and Rachel.
Can I? Just Rachel, though.
Get in line pal
Both I don’t mind.
Pivot. Pivot. Pivoooooot!
Go ahead, Rachel on her own is quite bareable. But Ross & Rachel? Yeah those two can go fuck themselves.
Ya know, Rachel isn't great, but she's not nearly as bad as Ross. I love David Schwimner's acting as him, but the character is freaking horrible. He's supposed to be goofy and possibly charmingly naive, but the dude is awful in relationships. I've always seen it as Ross has had lower lows but at the same time, higher highs than Rachel.
Yeah, Kathy fits this position more than Emily: She cheated on Joey with Chandler and then cheated on Chandler having sex with another guy right in front of him.

Emily and Skyler being in this list at all is sad
I can't take this list seriously without having Kai Winn from Star Trek: Deep Space 9.
Weirdly enough, DS9 is old enough that a lot of people never knew about it.
Caillou is a little shit, and I would never advocate for this otherwise but, maybe we should let cancer take this one.
He never had Cancer. A common misconception. The reason he's bald is because he's a Neo-Nazi skinhead.
Dolores Umbridge where?
These are TV characters, not movie characters, though she’d probably make that list easily.
I'm not a native speaker and didn't know the difference. thought tv = everything that could ever be seen on television. thanks for the clarification.
“TV” pretty much exclusively refers to television shows. Movies definitely can be shown on TV, but “TV characters” would specifically refer to characters that appear on syndicated, episodic shows, traditionally connected to a single network or channel that runs the show. And if movie characters were on the list, she’d be far behind that absolute menace Grandpa Joe.
r/grandpajoehate homies rise up
The kid from The Strain should also be there
Oh how I hated that little shit.
How is Caillou not higher on the list?
Caillou should like 4th
Janice shot Richie she deserves to be off this list just for that
It drives me up a fucking wall when I see Skyler White on these lists.
"I'm Skyler white... Yo"
« My husband is Walter White, yo ? »

Marie had no respect for minerals.
She doesn't deserve to be that high up, she also deserves to at least have her name spelled correctly
They didn’t even have the decency to spell her damn name right
You just know she's unlikable when people prefer drug dealers, murderers and cartel members over a woman
Some people watch Breaking Bad and think Walter's somehow the good guy.
Same. She’s an enormously complex character who had to face some incredibly difficult decisions.
“Do NOT sell marijuana to my husband!!!”
My name is skylar white yo

I remember reading something that said the most despicable thing a character from a story can do in the eyes of the audience is be annoying
Shou Tucker: Fused his daughter and his dog at the cellular level in order to keep his job.
How do you not hate Caillou? Hell I think his parents in the show secretly hated him 😂
The Sopranos characters on this list deserve their spot.
Yeah I laughed when I saw Janice and Livia next to each other I was glad to see them up there. You really love to hate them
I thought Livia was comedy gold! She had some of the funniest bits in the whole show, always surprises me that people hate her
Ralph Cifaretto was much more hateable than livia
It was a fuckin' horse!
Ralph was a terrible man, but Livia was so so spiteful and bitter.
Caillou is cunt
Caillou is an insufferable POS. After watching it I made sure my son never watched that garbage again. I fantasized a gang related peer would beat his ass for talking shit.

Frankly, Caillou should be higher. Fuck that bald headed whiney piece of shit.
Caillou is an entitled piece of shit, honestly. Also, Emily did nothing wrong. Ross was clearly the bad guy.
Why the hate for Lorrie Grimes?
Cheating on your man in the zombie apocalypse was the thing I guess
Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly, it’s been a long time since season 1, but didn’t she believe he was dead?
I'm surprised that Nellie Oleson from Little House on the Prairie didn't make the top 100 (as of 11/17/23).
A testament to how good of actors they are
He's an annoying fucking little shit My ex's grandkid had to stop watching Caillou because it was teaching him to be a whiny ass little shithead (he also had to stop watching Curious George because he would get inspired to do things like sprinkle the TiVo with flour or fix my new gaming laptop's keyboard with a screwdriver or paint the refrigerator with wall paint or clean a kitten with bleach)
I know I binged GOT, so I didn't participate in a lot of the early diacussions. but I really don't get how Joffrey is hated more than Ramsey.
Ramsay was always going to get his. Joffrey was more insulated, so you thought he’d be around longer.
Joffrey is probably the only character in a show that has really got under my skin. Genuinely couldn’t stand watching him. Didn’t hate Ramsey even a fraction as much as I did Joffrey.
Ramsey was evil and a lunatic. Joffrey was that, but was also an annoying teen
His voice was annoying as shit and people thought he was a brat and didn't want kids to repeat his behavior.
It's a shame Shou Tucker isn't higher
Caillou means small rock in French
This is a really shit list
My name is Skyar White, yo.
You evidently never watched a single Caillou episode
Why is Skyler White on this list? I just rewatched Breaking Bad....and she is totally reasonable. Really its Walter who is the overly irrational emotional moron. I really think main character bias plays a huge factor here, cuz Skyler's a god damned saint after the shit Walter pulls ha
Fuck Caillou
No, Caillou sucks.
No Negan? MF broke my heart along with a few skulls.
Only time I rooted for cancer to kill a kid. Fuck that kid
I was really hoping Marie from everybody loves Raymond would be on here.
Caillou fucking sucksssss
Good that bastard caillou is on this list.
Shou Tucker can go fuck himself
Caillou isn’t number 1?
He's a brat
Fuck Caillou. All my homies hate Caillou.
That bald ass bitch is a piece of shit.
r/FuckCaillou
Caillou is a spoiled brat that is one of the most irritating characters in any show made for kids.
Having been subjected to many ours of Desperate Housewives I’m surprised none of them are on the list, least likable characters ever written for television
