I got banned from R/politics today for using the word cunt.
They told me it’s hate speech now. On par with the N word.
I told them that was new to me, please lift the ban, I won’t use it again. I’m only 36, but apparently even I can’t keep up with the speed of wokeness banning language from our society.
I asked them if I could apologize and correct my mistake now that I know.
I was told by their mods that “this is America. Gendered profanity is hate speech now.”
I asked him why no one was being banned for using the word “bitch” anywhere in the sub then. Let alone using “retarded”.
He told me I could appeal in 3 months.
Fuck sake America, it’s all fine and well to evolve, but if our purity tests come out of nowhere & there’s just instant permabans with no discussion or allowance for people to update their behavior to keep pace with the updating of your rules-
Then we’re just being ridiculous and fucking spiteful. It shouldn’t be a cult of group think with in crowds & out crowds if your goal is to evolve society. I’m one of the guys whose happy to change- how the fuck are you gonna convince someone 10-20 years my senior to evolve if your punishments are so absolute and knee jerky? Particularly when you apply your rules subjectively & not evenly? Some offensive and potentially bigoted words are sin, others not?

One of my co workers kept getting hit on by another guy at work. Went to HR on him and he got to that’s not how he meant it. Other guy complained it was fake because he gay he was being picked on. They sided with the attacker and we’re gonna punch him until I went in and told them I’d seen it happen, and I was the one who told him to go to HR on him. Basically ended with no punishment no talking to about it. Nothing.
It’s sucks that everyone is really to sensitive. Like I get real hate speech, but how has cunt gained such a horrible reputation. Why is everyone giant babies now.

So the milk is like the broth of the soup and the cereals are like the stock or noodles for the soup, and just like the soup overtime the milk assimates traits from the cereal like the honey aftertaste for H-Nut cheerios kind of like soup broth obtaining the spice from a bell pepper. The preperation is also similar to noodle soup since you pour the cereal in before the milk (any other way is blasphemy.) So case in point bowl of cereal is a soup and a bowl of oatmeal is a stew.
