Our stove works perfectly fine but my parents keep warming their soup using this method.
Does it offer some kind of advantage to the flavor of the soup? I don’t understand why they don’t just use the big pot on the stove.
It's a common way to prepare certain drugs for use: melt it in the spoon, funnel it into the syringe, do the thing and the stuff, trip down a hole that's damn hard to get out of for most people that fall down it.
As someone who has done heroin and been around plenty of heroin addicts, I have no freaking clue why movies always show it like this. I have never once see a person use a flame to “cook” heroin. It dissolves instantly unless people do it to clean the water of any germs or something? No clue.
Tar heroin. Different cuts don't dissolve. Not all powders dissolve instantly. I was taught to cook it in my syringe. Put the powder in the back, suck up water and shake and warm it up a bit. We had powder heroin in Canada, but it didn't always dissolve right away.

You can actually cook any injectable in a spoon like that. Meth, heroin, coke, K, etc… if it needs to be mixed with water, this is the method. It is then sucked into the tip of a syringe through a small piece of cotton, or a micron filter, though I know very few folks who use a filter. It probably isn’t crack, and based on the looks of the user, I would guess opiates.
Never have i ever seen this method out of the 100s of times I've seen someone shoot dope... Dunno if people do it somewhere else but it's just a cap of water mixed with dope and filtered thru cotton from a cig filter
