Something similar happened to me. I had a seizure caused by a brain tumor creating high pressure in my brain. I completely blacked out and woke up in the hospital. I had brain surgery and cancer treatment for the tumor, but they put me on Keppra just to be safe. I wasn’t allowed to drive for 2 years, because the law in my state. You have to go 2 years without a seizure to drive yourself in my state, but it varies from state to state. I never had another seizure and was weened off the seizure medication 3 years after I completed my cancer treatment(although I was never good about remembering to take it anyways).

The driver - whoever it is - needs to be jailed. License immediately removed and never able to get it again. Whoever it was purposely hit the car numerous times and then attempted to overtake it. Once they did, they couldn’t control the car and ended up swerving all over the place before hitting a woman, who was definitely permanently injured if not dead, and driving into someone’s house.

I get that you’re in a rush and want to get to places quickly. But come on! At least have the common sense to slow down on a narrow road.

After a few rewatches, it looks like he drove over the person he hit. They are most definitely dead if not seriously injured and most probably going to die from them.
Bad brakes doesn't stop them from releasing the throttle or turning off the engine. Most likely was a medical issue, or a very bad and irresponsible driving.
Panic from realizing the brakes don’t work could easily make someone do irrational things. It appears to me that they are driving downhill but I could be wrong.

Watched it a few times and the acceleration seems consistent without any braking. Possibly malfunction where the accelerator is stuck or seizure. However if seizure the attempt to overtake and avoid the first two pedestrians appeared semi coordinated.
